As a contractor myself, I've always worked strictly with real natural wood, so switching over to…read morevinyl was completely outside my comfort zone. My old wood fence around the entire property was falling apart with termite damage, so I needed a permanent solution. Leo made the entire process seamless. He showed up on time, brought material samples so I could see what I was actually getting, and answered the phone every single time I called. He answered every technical question I threw at him with complete patience and respect, and he handled my neighbor's contract completely separately without any headaches. It's an investment, but the workmanship and gates turned out great. Leo promised vinyl is a lifetime material, and with the quality of the installation and communication so far, I expect it will hold up just as promised. They are beyond versatile (do all kinds of iron work), as well as being skilled artisan craftsmen. Sam and his dad (a master iron craftsman) are the loveliest of people-- communicative, honest, easy to deal with, and invested in doing the best work possible. They take great pride in their work. It took me years to find someone who could imagine the kind of railing design I needed for my 1926 uneven unique wall. No one but their company suggested this design and were able to pull it off without a hitch. The pictures speak for themselves. Look no further if you are wanting a fantastically skilled company, reasonable prices, and gems to work with. THANK YOU EXOTIC IRON WORKS!!

From the…read morefirst on-site consultation they impressed us with thoughtful design suggestions--matching the gentle curve of the street, integrating warm hardwood caps, and spacing the balusters so the planting beds still breathe. Their craftsmanship is flawless: every weld is clean, the powder-coat is even, and the wood inlays sit perfectly flush with the metal frame. Sam's father personally checked each panel for plumb and level, and the team worked long days to finish ahead of schedule without cutting corners. They left the site spotless, even hauling away the old fencing and sweeping the driveway. Beyond the technical excellence, communication was a breeze. Sam texted progress photos, confirmed small details (hinge style, post-top finials) before committing, and honored the original quote to the penny. If you want ironwork that's equal parts art and engineering--delivered by people who treat your project like their own home--hire Exotic Iron Works. The results are stunning, and the experience is just as impressive.

Hutch from Outdoor Living Fencing came out and worked with me on a great driveway fence solution…read more He took the time to assess the property thoroughly, carefully considering the unique layout and functional requirements of my driveway. Throughout the entire consultation process, he was exceptionally understanding of my budget constraints and helped guide me toward options that aligned perfectly with what I actually needed without pushing unnecessary upgrades. Before deciding, I gathered several other bids, but Hutch's quick turnaround on pricing and superior customer service were second to none. When the installation was complete, the high quality of both the workmanship and the materials truly impressed me. I initially had low expectations due to common horror stories about dealing with third-party subcontractors and middlemen, but Outdoor Living Fencing is a direct installer and owner-operated business. Working directly with an established company that takes true ownership made all the difference, and they delivered exactly what I wanted and needed. The installation crew was equally impressive--they were punctual, respectful, extremely professional, and made sure to thoroughly clean up all debris after the job was done. I would wholeheartedly recommend Outdoor Living Fencing to my family and friends, and I will definitely be calling them back for any future fencing projects needs.

My wife and I were looking to replace the well-worn front gates for our recently purchased…read morefixer-upper. On one side of the house, the gate was broken and entirely detached from the latch. The gate on the other side was functional, but in serious need of a cosmetic upgrade that complemented our new garage door and gate columns. Many of the contractors we reached out to were unwilling to accommodate our design requirements. We really wanted wood-looking vinyl gates with an arched top to complement the rest of the house. Pro-Vinyl Fencing was the only contractor in the Thousand Oaks area willing to bring our vision to life. On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable and actually beat out several other estimates we received. David was our primary point of contact throughout the design process. He was extremely patient and went out of his way to accommodate all of our specific choices. The main reason we are taking off a star comes down to installation day. The installer (who was separate from David) installed the drop rod on the wrong side of the gate, requiring a second visit to correct it. We also suspect the installer contributed to a few scratches on the gates during the job. Beyond those hiccups on the installation side, we were thrilled with David's customer service, the affordability, and Pro-Vinyl's willingness to execute the exact material and arched design we wanted.
