I always have my assistant contact at least three vendors to compare pricing and to get a sense of whether they are truly knowledgeable. My assistant found two of the vendors and I gave her the information for IRON MEN gates to schedule the appointment. From the moment Elad came out on day one, I was extremely impressed. He has a genuine, down-to-earth personality, and he was serious, professional and clearly knowledgeable about every aspect of the project - exactly what I wanted to accomplish with my gate. The other vendors were much more focused on sales and pitching, rather than taking the time during the initial walkthrough to thoroughly review what I wanted. Elad's proposal was also significantly better in quality and detail. The turnaround time was fast, and it included clear drawings and detailed information about what would be done--something I had not seen from any other vendor I've hired for work around my house. At that point, I knew I wanted to move forward with them. There was some negotiation on pricing, but ultimately I felt the final cost was absolutely worth it. Once I signed the proposal, everything went into motion immediately. They ordered the materials and maintained strong communication throughout the entire process. Elad responded quickly whenever I reached out, and when questions or concern came up, he always had solutions and worked with me. I also had several change orders. They were very patient and accommodating, and importantly, they handled my requests without delaying the completion date by an additional month (which is common with many vendors). They were able to schedule everything effectively and still complete my gates with minimal delays. Every team member who came out -- electrician, the two smooth stucco pillars crew, and the aluminum gate installation team -- was professional, polite, and respectful. Construction projects are stressful by nature, but they were genuinely the easiest vendor I have ever worked with. The best part is that my aluminum gates look incredible. Everyone who passes by my home has commented on how good they look. I have only left a few reviews in my lifetime, and I rarely do unless a vendor truly exceeds expectations. I am very particular and somewhat of a perfectionist, so it was not easy for me to find someone I considered exceptional --but this was absolutely one of those cases. I didn't want a fresh powder coat job on a damaged gate, so I Yelped for welding services close to me. I called Precision Welding and Adan answered and came over to my house within the hour. He was going to give me an estimate for replacing the steel plate. The gate is a little smaller than 4' x 6'. To my surprise, he told me they could take it over to his guy that does powder coating. That sealed the deal for me. We texted back and forth and we set up an appointment to get the job done. My gate was removed on a Tuesday and was reinstalled as good as new by Friday afternoon (I was told Friday, Saturday at the latest). This was important to me because I have three dogs and a pool. I'm old school and like to have a written contract, but I realize that nowadays texting serves the same purpose. Great craftsmanship, excellent communication, great value, all in timely fashion. I highly recommend Precision Welding. As a bonus, I had my spring replaced with a self closing hinge. I have needed that for decades. The old setup would slam shut, especially on windy days, cracking the brick wall. I've been afraid I would have to replace my wall. Note that the side rails need to be painted. He answered all of my questions, and I had A LOT of questions. He was never phased and was always genuinely helpful and willing to educate me so that I knew I made the right decision. He showed me tons of pictures and even did comparisons with other quotes we got. In the end we went with Globus not just because their gate was superior in quality with their double-sided hinges, HD frame, and clean mitered edges, or because they had the best price (which didn't hurt), but because we genuinely liked working with Chris. We are already discussing our next project with him. Literally just had another professional come by for a different project and he liked their work and the quality of their gates so much, he's contacting them. He himself installs fences and gates. That speaks volumes and made us feel even more confident in the work we got done. Also, Sergei is a beast. He got the gate installed all by himself in one day.
