We contacted quite a few companies for a quote on our driveway gate. By far Chris at Globus was the most responsive and least pushy. He answered all of my questions, and I had A LOT of questions. He was never phased and was always genuinely helpful and willing to educate me so that I knew I made the right decision. He showed me tons of pictures and even did comparisons with other quotes we got. In the end we went with Globus not just because their gate was superior in quality with their double-sided hinges, HD frame, and clean mitered edges, or because they had the best price (which didn't hurt), but because we genuinely liked working with Chris. We are already discussing our next project with him. Literally just had another professional come by for a different project and he liked their work and the quality of their gates so much, he's contacting them. He himself installs fences and gates. That speaks volumes and made us feel even more confident in the work we got done. Also, Sergei is a beast. He got the gate installed all by himself in one day. They forgot to put one set of holes for the bolts and it was absolutely no problem for them to come by the same week and get it done. I've recommended them to everyone. Even people I don't know at Costco who liked the faux wood metal finish. I know it's dumb but this gate makes me ridiculously happy and knowing the Santa Ana winds won't blow them away gives me immense peace of mind. read more

Wish I'd checked Yelp before booking an estimate, the reviews here are consistent with my own experience. The salesperson who came out was a little salsey. During the visit I was clear that I wanted black fencing throughout, except for one shared side with my neighbor, who wanted a woodgrain finish there. When my neighbor asked him directly how much it would cost per square foot, he just said "it depends" and never gave a clear answer. The initial quote for my small backyard came in around $10-15K, which already felt steep. When the actual estimate arrived, it didn't reflect what I'd asked for at all, woodgrain was applied to both sides, not just the shared one, and the price jumped to $20K. After I pointed out the error, the revised estimate only came down to $15K, still well above the original range I'd been given for a job that should've been straightforward. On top of that, their Installation Disclaimers and Limitations state they're not responsible for any resulting landscaping damage. Since I'm in an HOA community, that's a real liability I'm not willing to take on with a company that already struggled to listen and quote accurately. In Aug/Sept 2025, we contacted Globus Gates to demo and replace 120+ feet of wooden fencing/gates that were crumbling with age. Jorge came out to bid the job and gave us honesty and respectful advice compared to some other bids we'd gotten. It was a competitive bid and we appreciated his approach. Chris came out for thorough measurements then Alex and his team handled demo and install over a couple days in the hot sun. The process was very quick and the finished product (wood-like aluminum with black trim) looks fantastic and we are still very happy with the results. Neighbors were shocked by the change and it really enhances the front of our property. Working with Globus was a good experience and any minor miscommunications/issues were addressed quickly by Ronnie the owner and to our complete satisfaction. Warning to anyone considering Globus Gates I have never dealt with a company as unprofessional and offensive as this one. Their quote was much higher than other companies, even though the other bids included more features. Since they advertise that they match prices, I uploaded a competitor's estimate. Instead of honoring their own policy or even responding with basic professionalism, they attacked the other company -- calling it "fake" and "a joke" -- and then turned around and insulted me, calling my actions "irresponsible" just because I pointed out on their page that their prices were high. I've included screenshots of the actual conversation, and the way they spoke to me was beyond rude. If this is how they treat potential customers, imagine how they would act if you had a problem after installation and actually needed their help. There are plenty of reputable, respectful companies out there who know how to treat customers. Globus Gates is not one of them. For your own sanity, I strongly recommend staying far away. read more

I reached out to Globus gates to get some home fencing needs. I got the vinyl with aluminum framing. Very nice looking in my opinion. They are not the cheapest but very good quality products. Their installers were very limited English-speaking (Russian I believe) so it was difficult to communicate with them but they were definitely hard workers and worked into the night making sure they got the job done as promised. 8/5/25 They are sending someone out to replace the handle and lock with a new one and i am very happy they will finally fix it. 8/7/25 It's been fixed, but not with new handle...thank you but hope it holds and is a lasting fix. 2 large security metal gates and fence in front of pool equipment . I was very happy with the finished product, they looked very beautiful and seemed to be well installed. Soon after the install the problems started. The handle kept coming loose and did close properly. It took about 4 times before they finally fixed it so it stays closed and locked. Then the other gate, which i very rarely used, i was shocked when i went to unlock it for a worker and it wasn't able to catch and close. So for a very long time i had a security gate that could just be pushed open easily. After several times they came and said they fixed it, only to find the problem was the same. The last time i really thought they did it and did it right. Two days ago i went to unlock it for workers and to my shock and horror it opened without me turning the handle. I called and left the company a message and haven't heard back. There's something majorly wrong with the initial install and would really like for them to finally fix it right. The owner called and wants to make it right and they have always "tried" to fix problem, sometimes it took a few calls, but they did respond. To be clear there has never been a problem with the actual gates, it's always been the handles and locks. 3 stars is because i got these for security and even thought they look fantastic, the handles are not and i feel very vulnerable and hard to sleep at night. read more

I spent more than $24k on gates that were supposedly rust free. My gates rusted out badly a couple years later. Gate are falling apart and splitting at the connection points. I Called Ronnie several times, all crickets. I am a general contractor and do significant work. After this experience at my own house, I use other gate contractors for my custom projects. Cant treat people like this, especially charging this type of money. The experience itself up was really good upfront. The installation went great. After getting a bid from a competing company, I contacted Globus Gates, originally to buy the products and do the installation myself. As a general contractor for over 40 years, this would have been a simple installation for me. While they were willing to sell me what I needed, they offered to come out and give me a free estimate to do the installation. We have compared Aluminium materials with a few different companies based on quality, and notice that the materials that Globus Gate manufacture is by far the strongest and highest Fence materials we found, their prices are affordable compared to others as they have different options based on budget. They have finished the job pretty fast in about two weeks when others said that it will take more than a month (fabrication). I had a problem with the both gates they installed, they do not lock properly, the first time they came out they did a horrible job fixing the problem, they added some brackets that do not match the color of the gates. The second time I called them (after a year) they wanted to charge me $95 to fix their mistake. The doors do not work again and is so sad that they installed something incorrect and they do not want to fix it. The reason I called after a year is because I never used that gate and I wasn't aware of the problem until one day my puppy got out to the street and I noticed the gate was open and I noticed the gate wasn't closing properly. Compared to other companies that have came out for estimates, this one is 3x the price of all others. They did offer a "$200" discount if we agreed to leave their business sign in our lawn. I decided to finally pick up and tell him we are not interested and would reach out if we changed our minds. Well today he called AGAIN. I don't know where to begin but will try to hold my disappointment and make sure I am able to put this in writing. My husband and I had spent months following Globus Gates through social media and knew we didn't want any other company, especially since we were widening our driveway to add a bigger gate. We were just delighted when they came out and informed us that they could make the customize rollable gate to accommodate the wideness of the driveway and tolerate the horrible winds that love to visit us every season. We were so happy and eager to have the new gate, that we paid the deposit on the spot when they came out to give us the proposal. Mind you that it was going to cost us almost $10k for the new gate. The representative was informed of our intentions of widening the driveway and confirmed that they are not able to do the widening work, that we would have to find an outside contractor to do it beforehand, and then they would do the installation. Worked for us! We informed him that when he had the firm installation date to let us know. Globus Gates called us a few days later confirming that it would be installed on Monday, Nov. 14. We again confirmed with them that the date would not change and they confirmed it wouldn't. As days got closer to the gate installation date, we called on Wednesday, Nov 9th to confirm that we were still on schedule for the 14th, and they confirmed so. We immediately paid our outside contractor to also guarantee the spot two days before the gate installation and were excited that we were finally having it done and more so before the holidays since we are planning a big holiday party in our backyard which the driveway leads into. That afternoon after we had confirmed all scheduled work, we receive a call from Katherine (great customer skills, I must add) informing us that the date needs to be moved. Of course, that would cause a HUGE problem for us. The gate area would be left exposed for over six days. We live next to hills, and have coyotes, we have pets, small children, recreational equipment, and on top of that, scheduled terrible Santa Ana winds. Called Katherine back and explained that the new date would not work and that we want the original date that was confirmed as our outside contractor does not have any other dates available to accommodate the last-minute change and he is booked til next year. Katherine said she would talk to her project manager and call me back. Didn't hear from her all-day Thursday, I then called again on Friday and spoke with Katherine and after several "I'll call you back" Katherine finally was able to have the project manager call me to discuss the situation. The project manager finally called me Friday, late afternoon. I explained again the situation and begged her to PLEASE keep the original confirmation date that our contractor couldn't come on another date. I explained again, why we can't go for so many days exposed. She instead told me to find another one and proceeded to ask someone in her office to see if they can do it. I explained that our contractor's price was the best we found (dropping walls, adding retaining walls, etc) she agreed that the price we had was good. I kept reminding her that we are scheduled to get bad winds (60 mph gusts), exposure elements, etc., and she didn't want to hear it. Mind that the whole time, I had been keeping my composure and just trying to have her understand how much trouble the change of date has caused us. She would just continue blaming us for not having a contractor that would work for us. As if everything that was happening was our fault. I told her to cancel the work and send us our money back and that I will have to wait to see when I can find someone to do the work and that I rather have my money until we do so. At this point, I was getting upset because she started changing her tone and raising her voice. I cautioned her that the tone she was using was unnecessary and she just abruptly yelled, "I will just send you your money back via check" I agreed for her to do that and she hung up. We did everything on our part based on their information and installation. I am sure all installations are as important as ours, but they did nothing to try to remedy the situation. Maybe offered a credit to cover the cost for another contractor since the changes were caused by them. Any solution would have worked, but we got none. The contract states "the completion date is subject to change based on market situation and supply availability". Yet their reason for the change of date had nothing to do with that. My advice is not to take their word for the installation, get it in writing. Read the fine print, also their warranty is very limited. But at this point, I don't think that would have even mattered, they just didn't care to help us. read more

Let me start off by saying we love our gates. Vladimir the installer was great. There were some issues with the gate posts and the placement of the holes that were drilled. They were not drilled in the correct location for the door to properly close. We like quality and this was not quality, in our eyes so we asked how can we fix the issue. Our installer then contacted the owner of Globus Gates, RON, who I must say is THE RUDEST person I have every spoken with in my life. RON started the conversation with an attitude instead of listening to the customer, all he wanted to do was argue. We provided him with the issues we had with the post and his response was "why do you care about what the post looks like when the door closes, you can't see it". Not the response I was looking for. For an owner of a company to say something like that is to their paying customer is ridiculous. So I suggested that we Facetime him so that he can see what our issues were with the quality of the holes that were drilled. His response was "big deal". He was yelling and screaming and was not solution driven. He continue to make accusations that we were just looking for a discount. We were not looking for a discount, we simply asked if he would replace the post with the holes in the correct location. We had no issues with paying for the gates in the first place. It was principal for us. The company has great marketing ads on Instagram, that's how they got me. I wish we had done our due diligence in reading these reviews before making this decision, we definitely would have gone with another company. Please see the picture below of the hole and their solution. By the way this was a $16k project that was completed here at our home. I know that RON will respond to the review and claim his guys were here at the property until 8:30pm, we wouldn't let the guys go home. The installer was giving Ron a play by play of the day, he claims the installers were done with the installation of the gates and locks at 4:30pm. We call BS and we have the video surveillance to prove that as well. It took the gentlemen several hours to even drill the holes that were put in poorly and they had a very difficult time installing the locks. read more
