Edi at EM garage doors and gate continues to help me through all of my gate issues (of which there are many, not his fault) -- even coming out to help me when the issue was a silly mistake on my end. I trust this guy and his team a lot, and I find comfort in finding a quality business that I feel I can rely on. read more

Roy was great. He came out and fixed my door the same day. He did not try up-sale me on anything. Just fixed what needed to be fixed.

I called EM Garage Doors And Gate Service to come out to look at my garage door because my garage door would not stay open all the way. Edi came out, looked at my garage door and right away told me I had the incorrect springs installed. Edi told me the correct spring I needed for my door & what to say to the company that originally installed the springs. After some stern words to the original garage door company over the phone, they came out & replaced the springs with the proper ones, the same day and no charge. I highly recommend EM Garage Doors And Gate Service. They are very professional, honest, return your calls in reasonable amount of time and their pricing is fair. I will continue to use EM Garage Doors and Gates Service in the future and give them a high recommendation. read more

I needed to replace our garage door, a roll up. I called 3 companies, one gave me a price on the phone, one said they'd have an installer call me back with a price, and then I called EM Garage Doors and Gate Service. Eddy (owner of EM) said he'd come by in an hour - and he was here in an hour. He gave me a price that was FAR below what I'd gotten from the other company. We put everything in writing, I gave him a deposit, and we scheduled for the next morning at 9 am. His installer was prompt and finished, including a spit shine cleanup, in a couple of hours. The garage door is perfect and I highly recommend EM to anyone needing garage door work. Eddy is easy to work with, he and his workers are prompt, highly skilled and thorough. read more

Good price! No upsell;) Quick Service! Edi knew his stuff & had a great attitude! Would highly recommend!

Edi was extremely efficient. He showed up when he said he would. Diagnosed the problem and completed the repair in a condensed time window despite having to pick up the required parts from a nearby supply store. I would absolutely use him again. read more

Had originally contacted EM garage doors for a service call due to a broken roller bracket after reaching out to another garage door repair company who had mediocre reviews, had been in contact with Edi and was able to set a repair. Had discussed with Edi and he did his assessment of the door, it was greater than 20 years old with original parts. Had discussed it with my mom and she ended up setting up a full on garage door replacement with new panels, garage door opener etc. Edi's personnel came out today (Michael) and was able to do the full on replacement in under 4 hours. My mom was happy with the replacement of the garage door. Definitely recommend EM garage door. Great value, timely service, respectable people and cleaned up after the garage door replacement read more

Wanted to hardwire 2 ring cameras to the intercom system & replace the vehicle detector for the gate opener. Eddie came out promptly. Discussed different options for the vehicle detector... wireless vs wired loop. In the end, we opted for the wired loop. He sent the technician, Manny, out within a few days and took care of everything. Very professional & efficient. Would definitely keep his contact for future projects. read more

Edi was super courteous, respectful and honest. He resolved the issue with our electronic gate and was very reasonable with the cost. Thank you again Edi! :) read more

The owner came by for a free estimate in 2 hours. Eddy was excellent at explaining the difference in garage doors. I didn't have a lot of money but the door was trashed, it had to be replaced. My brother ran into it with his car. Eddy told me when his technician would be here. The technician was here right on time!!! Imagine that. He was very nice and had the new door up and running in 2 hours. If there was a mess I never saw it. Technician had told me he cleaned it up, which he did. I wish I would have known about EM before I had my gate replaced!!! Oh well next time. read more

I would definitely recommend this business to anyone. I contacted them because my garage door broke, the door got ripped from the frame of the house. They came out the same day and we decided that a new door would be best but unfortunately I had to buy a new motor as well. They adjusted the original quote on the spot which fit my budget perfectly. Two days later they installed my new system with no issues! read more

EM Garage Doors And Gate Service - Edi getting the job done - Garage Door Services Near Me - Reseda, California

Great service and pricing! EM Garage Doors installed a garage door for me last month. Service from start to finish was wonderful. Eddie came out the day I called for an estimate. The quote was very reasonable and substantially less than another company I called for the same door. Due to a supply shortage with the company that supplies the doors, it took about 3 months for my door to be ready. Eddie had explained this to me during our meeting so I wasn't surprised or upset. A few days after it was ready, the door was installed by 2 guys from EM Garage Doors. They even took away my old wood door. It took about 4 hours. The job was done neatly and professionally. Eddie was friendly, responsive and helpful during the entire process. I am very pleased with my new garage door and the service I received. read more

Where do I start. I had hired another company to install a brand new gate and pedestrian door, but the installation proved too complicated, that's where Eddie and his team came in and saved the day. Eddie blew me away with his knowledge and understanding of the issues that plagued the other company - he identified every issue with the installation and what needs to be done to fix it. I feel very lucky to have found Eddie and now have a perfectly working gate. And Eddie has been unbelievably responsive to any questions, which is very much appreciated. Highly highly recommend. read more

I've dealt with a few gate repair people before and most of them are not honest and try to up charge you. I called Eddie today because of all the great reviews I saw for him him on yelp and told him about my gate that was not closing. Thank you so much Eddie if I ever have any other issues I will most definitely use you and recommend you to everyone else I know!!! read more

I couldn't be more happy with the service I got from these guys. My huge iron gate blew off the hinges during the Santa Ana winds this week - the hinges were ripped off. We had a great experience working with Edi to upgrade two gates at our house in Encino. On one side of the house, Edi's team refinished a wrought iron gate that had started to rust. On the other side, they replaced a vinyl gate (which had no place to install a secure and convenient lock) with a steel one. We were especially happy with how they matched the color and style of our existing vinyl fence. They also put very nice push-button combination locks on both gates. Working with Edi was a breeze: he came by as scheduled and got the work done promptly. We'd definitely work with him again. read more

We are extremely satisfied. Our garage door hadn't been properly maintained since we bought the house and we needed a professional to do some repairs and replace the motor. Eran was that guy. Punctual, knowledgeable and honest which is hard to find nowadays. the whole process was not only completed the same day as the estimate but only took a couple of hours and we have a seemingly new garage door with all it's functionalities. Couldn't have been more pleased. Thanks Eran and EM garage door service read more

Had to call EM again with another issue and they were excellent. They came out the next day and fixed the issue quickly. Of interest to other Yelpers, before I called EM another gate company was servicing a gate up the street and I had them give me an estimate to fix it. Their estimate was DOUBLE what EM charged. The other company tried to upsell me on other parts and EM explained why the gate didn't need them. This is a good and honest company and I highly recommend them. read more

Request Omar. If there's one takeaway from my review, let that be it and I promise you'll be extremely satisfied. Long story short, a car ran off the road and hit my metal gate / fencing. I got three quotes. One from a major big company which tried charging me an arm and a leg. Another with the most highest reviews which upcharged me at first chance. And then there was Edi, Omar, and EM when I needed them. They had the feel and heart of a small company, but with the expertise and professionalism of a big one. Omar fixed my gate WAY ahead of schedule and I couldn't have been more impressed with the finished project. He did a fantastic job and I'll be calling EM and requesting Omar for all my future gate and fencing needs. read more

Recently my garage door main spring snapped. Also, my driveway gate was making loud noises and was difficult to open manually when needed. On both, Eddie was quick to diagnose and correct each of these issues. When I called, he was on it within a few hours. Now, a few weeks later, both are operating like new. I highly recommend EM Garage Door and Gate. Eddie and his crew are awesome. Timely, friendly and fast. read more

Very professional, honest and does the job right. I had couple guys come out to give me an estimate to fix my hat and suggested I replace the motor and key pad, but Edi at EM Garage Door and Gates fixed my problem that was to replace the transformer and reprogram my key pad. Everything works perfectly now. Thanks Edi read more

I've been using Edi for over 10 years. Pw for my garage door repair needs. Most recently he replaced the main springs for my double-garage door. My wife called me frantically at 10:30: "honey, I heard a loud bang when I was trying to leave this morning and now my car is trapped inside the garage!!" I called EM Garage at 11:00 and Edi returned my call at 11:15. Made an appointment for repair between 12 and 2 that afternoon. He was at my house around 1:15 My only negative ... if I have any .. is that Edi is too fast! He has a specialized tool in his truck for winding the main coil springs so it looks "too easy". He can do the replacement in about 30 minutes Good experience. Highly recommend read more
