I used to live in Simi Valley for 22 years and had Archway numerous times!!!! Each time whoever came out, and no matter how high or low the cost, they were ALWAYS KIND, PROFESSIONAL, CLEAN, PRECISE, PUNCTUAL and JUST GRADE A+++. I recently moved to Camarillo. The garage door was old, wood and ugly! After almost a year, I decided it was time to update and upgrade!! Needless to say I called Archway.... The price was GREAT! The scheduling of the job was GREAT! The installation was STUPENDOUS!!! What a difference it makes to the house. Thank you Zach and everyone affiliated with ARCHWAY ! read more

We called Archway after our garage door jumped the track. Gerard in the office arranged a prompt service call. Technician Zackery was friendly, professional, and competent, explaining the cause of our problem (a faulty original installation) and giving us a firm price for the repair. He fixed the door, checked it over for other potential problems, and performed routine service. Archway is licensed, insured, and local, and does first-rate work. I strongly recommend them. read more

Highly recommend, Jason is great! Very professional from start to finish. Needed to upgrade to a new motor that was compatible with MyQ / Wifi and Jason made it a breeze. read more

Dealing with Archway was smooth and rapid. Within a hour my problem was solved and the tech was skilled and professional.

Archway replaced our old garage door opener with a LiftMaster unit that is quieter and smoother than our old one. This company sent out a technician the day I called them. He inspected our old unit explaining its deficiencies, and he set us up (without pressuring us) for installing a new unit in a timely manner. Jason, the technician, was efficient and friendly, and respected our requests to have new wall openers installed in the same locations as the old ones which is important to us. I highly recommend Archway Garage Doors. read more

I was trapped in my garage and placed a call to one company who said they couldn't get there until the next day. I then called Archway because they had great reviews. One of the owners was at my house within 1 hour. He did a temporary fix and I ordered a new garage door, and everything related to it. My door and opener were like 20 years old. I probably could have shopped around and saved a bit but I was so impressed by the service. Great installation and I've had no problems. read more

The company was able to send someone out that day (my car was "trapped" in our garage by our broken door). Zach was very professional and educated us on the problems we were having. He fixed the problem and the door works better than ever! read more

Zach has been here twice this year back in February to change a panel of hinges in one of the rows and today for yearly Maintenance. We have an older model that still uses the old twisted light bulbs so we've stocked up on those to preserve the life of this unit . You cannot use LED's in the older model. They cause synch problems with remotes . Maybe next year we'll upgrade to a new opener if any other problems but so far our older model is just perfect with the right bulbs . We are doing some maintenance repairs , changing bottom seal & flange which is sun rotted and brittle , and the entire rubber seal around the exterior for a very fair price with one move in only one labor charge . I retired 35 yrs as a Comm Construction financial project manager so i know good contractors with fair prices and those who give great service . These are our people . read more

I had a great experience with Archway Garage Doors. I accidentally set my garage door off track, and they made the whole repair process smooth from start to finish. I appreciated the reminder texts confirming my appointment--it gave me peace of mind that help was on the way. James was the repairman who came out, and he showed up right on time. Not only did he fix the problem, but he also took the time to teach me a few things about keeping my 20+ year old door working longer. He explained how to properly lubricate it and even helped me understand why my door sometimes wouldn't open due to cross-signals from my LED light bulbs. He raised the sensor slightly to prevent it from being knocked out of alignment and even blew debris out of the sensor area (and my driveway!) before leaving. I was also blown away at the price, which was more than fair. After coming off another service call recently where the repair crew never even showed up, working with Archway felt like a breath of fresh air. James was a pleasure to work with--knowledgeable, professional, and patient. I would absolutely call Archway again for any future garage door needs. I will recommend them to EVERYONE! Thank you, Archway, for turning a headache into a very positive experience! read more

When you really need them, they let you down. Unreliable, shady and incompetent. We purchased a home in Santa Monica, where the garage door was recently installed by Archway. When we called for an issue with an incorrect installation, they first cited that they no longer serve Santa Monica, so they cannot honor their warranty. When I persisted, the operator asked to speak to management, and then claimed that the warranty is 'not transferrable'. Even if the previous owner were to call them to get them to fix it. Apparently the installation was botched, and the door needed 'rebalancing'. I like doing business with honest folks, not the ones who make you do legalese and not honor their warranty or stand by their work. Be wary of Archway Garage Doors and consider others who will support you when you need them, not just when at the time of purchase. Super disappointed! read more

Amazing job!! james Came to take care of our garage door, he is professional, excellent customer service and quality work!!

Alexis and Zack at Archway are great to work with. They figured out the issue with our opener, which was a worn part caused by the belt being too tight when the unit was first installed. Our unit is 6 years old and they had to order the worn out part. But Alexis kept in touch with us consistently to make sure we knew the situation, and that they would make sure to follow through. The part arrived within a couple days, and the door got fixed just a couple days later. Zack fixed the belt, lubricated the wheels and even bolted our sensors to the rails to make sure they couldn't get knocked off. And the charge was very reasonable. Thank you! read more

Archway provided incredibly professional service. I called them up to service my existing garage door motor and Zach worked on it for over an hour, but it could not be repaired, so I had to buy a new one. I usually shop these things out and try to get the best price, But Archway was so nice, efficient, fair, and professional that I just paid for a new one on the spot. I'm sure I paid more than if I'd gone to Home Depot, but I think this motor will last a long time and the installation was perfect. Zach came back to finish the job and he was prompt, thorough and courteous. I really strive to use local companies and I highly recommend this team. read more

James from Archway responded to my residence reference the wall control panel not working. I've been attempting to solve this problem for months with limited success. He quickly started troubleshooting and diagnosed the problem, which was a faulty wire connection in the door opener unit. However, James did not stop there. He also checked the entire system, including the battery, to confirm no other issues were lurking. I have mass respect for James and Archway....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

Zack is a total professional in all aspects of service. Our "old-school" garage door has never functioned better, and the garage door opener has never worked more smoothly. The door now closes with a soft landing as opposed to the bang that our neighbors have endured for years. The overall process is top notch from the initial call to the scheduling and updates-- very smooth. What about the cost you ask? Sooo reasonable- $125 for the service call. I highly recommend Archway Garage Doors. read more

Called Archway at 8:00 a.m. today and they had a repairman at my home at 8:30 a.m. -- maybe I got lucky because they had someone nearby, but impressive! When I first called they gladly informed me of their hourly rate and parts cost (both were reasonable) and when the tech arrived he confirmed the pricing. No attempt to upsell me on additional services or exaggerate the repairs needed. The other company I called would only say they'd provide a free estimate once their tech arrived, which to me is a huge red flag, so Archway got my business. Happy I called them. Highly recommend Archway for garage door service in Simi Valley area. read more

Awesome reliable service by Zach. Called them, they came out within an hour and fixed the issue. Price was what they quoted over the phone. It is refreshing to find a company that can respond quickly, has professional employees and does not pull a bait and switch once they get here. Will definitely be using them next time! read more

James came and did a service for the garage door they installed when I first moved in. Garage door runs flawlessly, nice and smooth!

Needed to replace a crappy Genie garage door opener I bought from big box store and self installed (almost severing a finger). Called Archway for a replacement. Tech promptly brought and installed the latest LiftMaster. Let me enthusiastically say, we FOCKING LOVE IT! Had no idea garage door openers have gotten so high tech. It's quiet, includes a camera, LED lighting that is bright (never needs replacing and activated via sensor), and works with a App. It's one of the best home investments we've ever made. The install took less than one hour and the Tech did an immaculate job replacing the wires, sensors, and rail. It was simply a "professional " job. Thank you Archway Garage Doors! You have always bailed us out. As a long-time customer, we are proud to have a business like yours in our city. read more

Amazing!!! How often do you need a garage door repair? Well, when you do you need right away, because your door won't close, and the wire has unspoiled and your wife is freaking out because everyone can see in ...etc etc etc!! One call to Archway, Zachary come out and is terrific. Bottom line is the spring lost tension and the spring could be 10 to 15 years old. Zachary recommended a tune up but I wanted a new spring to be safe. Install and tune up done in under 30 minutes in an extremely professional way and reasonable price. Highly recommended. read more

Warning to people: make sure they tell you ahead of time how much any work will cost you before they actually do the work. This review is only for a visit made today. The owner Rick came to check our sensors and asked about one of the sensors being moved. I did not hide any information from him and answered truthfully on how it was most likely moved after their installation. He then grabbed a hammer, moved the sensor and finished the actual work in a couple of minutes. Once done, he then revealed that those minutes would cost $125. My wife scheduled the call and requested on the call that the cost be revealed ahead of time before doing any work. This was not done at all. He also didn't reveal that sensors weren't covered by warranty until after doing the work. If we had known that the cost would be that much for slightly moving a sensor with a hammer, then we could have easily done that ourselves. We told him about this and weren't content. He didn't charge us, but in return decided to void our warranty and then mess up our sensor and drive away. We really did like this company, but after the way Rick left, we won't be recommending them anymore. read more

James and team are the only ones I trust to work on my garage doors. I recommend them to everyone. James is a great communicator. He is thorough in his inspections and explains what the best options are. They only use quality material and equipment. They are reasonably priced, and have an option for all price ranges. They work on electric gates too. Always happy with the work done by Archway. Trust me don't even use anyone else. Thank you for a job always well done. Josh is one of their installers.
