We have visited Asian Star buffet a few times now, I will say it's not the highest quality buffet we have tried BUT their food is good enough to keep coming back. I definitely recommend going earlier in the day rather than closer to their closing time as the food will not be as fresh and is more limited. Staff is friendly always, we are always seated right away. The place itself is not very loud, they have smooth music playing in the background. I came in for lunch with already modest expectations -- after all, it's a Chinese buffet. Unfortunately, this place somehow managed to fall below even those low standards. Amazing. One staff member was more focused on rearranging the five remaining pieces of cold chicken skewers than actually refilling the trays. The same went for the wings and several other items -- clearly left sitting too long and barely warm. The sushi section was particularly concerning: mostly empty, with lukewarm pieces that looked like they'd been out far too long. Definitely not something you want to gamble on. There are a lot of stray cats around here, but one was burned with hot oil to try to scare it away, which is really upsetting. No animal should ever be harmed like that. I went to this buffet yesterday and I saw some salmon, which I will not lie it looks a little suspicious but I tried and IT WAS BAD, it tasted like if it has been in there for days and nasty. I also try their mussels I think they have and is a NO. Their food is not fresh , just some of it. After I ate there, my stomach started to feel weird. Food and service needs improvement, food looks like it has been out for a long time which is bad, the taste of spoiled food and sushi should always be clean properly and not a fishy taste like. Poor server need refills on water and asked multiple times and no one came to bring it which it was a slow day. It's been a long time since I've been to a Chinese buffet. I came here around 2pm on a weekday and the price was $15.99. This place has a huge sitting area. It's very clean and spacious. They have a good selection of food. My favorite would be their Szechuan spicy fish and tofu dish. That taste is on point. I also enjoyed their broccoli dishes, chicken skewer, shrimps, ice cream, and Mongolian bbq. For the price, it's pretty good deal. They also have sushi,pizza, salad, and other desserts like cakes and cream puff. I tried one piece sushi which I thought was egg inside but turn out to be cheese. That wasn't good to me. The cakes were too dry, but they have a good selection of ice cream including green tea and coffee. They offer more seafood during the weekend. Service was good. The host was friendly and the staff was constantly clearing our table and checking in on us. I'll be back when I crave Chinese buffet or can't figure out what to eat. read more

My family and I decided to give it a try to this place and honestly - I want to say is a good place . We didn't know but we came in the perfect time for dinnner. We were able to get Mariscos ;) . The only thing is that They have certain times and prices for lunch and dinner . If you go for lunch there are some food you can't have . If you like Mariscos is best for you to go for dinner !!. Came here after church. Was going to another restaurant but line was too long. We walked inside the buffet and was seated immediately. Now they have lots of seating, as majority of buffets do. Food quality was decent. I have a family of 8 and I think our bill was going to be roughly around a little over $100. Got the tab and it was $220! Like seriously, I calculated the adults and was like wait did they charge us $100 extra?! First time coming here the food was good, there's lots of options sea food Mongolian ribs pizza fries ice cream pretty diverse. Ice cream I had was pistachio , cookies and cream, vanilla, and coffee which I paired with the cute little tiramisu it was such a good combo. (Photo attached). We went on a Sunday which is all day dinner pricing of $21 per person. The main draw for us is the sashimi and sushi offered in addition to the array of Asian American themed food along with a Mongolian grill. There's a little of everything for all palates. It isn't the best but not the worst. The focus of Asian Star Buffet is about feeding a crew four adult kids appetites without breaking the bank. The server added a 10% gratuity. The restaurant itself is clean from the serving line to the dining room. The bathroom is it's own mystery. Hold your breath if you have to go. Hot hot hot! They don't spend a dime on AC, and if you have to use the bathroom, it's a sauna. Besides it being hot and humid, it's dirty and no seat covers. Walls need good wiping. We had visit this place twice already , the food quality is very good an place looks very clean and organized , we have tried must of the items serve and all seem to be on the good quality side. The Salmon taste good and they have unlimited scoop ice cream .they might need a little improvement on the service side , missing utensils which only one set is provide and you need to ask if additional if need it , We notice they use the same rag to clean the tables and the stuff around , the same waitress do the clean up and they do not have a station to wash their hands , that is a like questionable. We thought they at least wash their hands after cleaning every table . Also the bathrooms seem clean but might need some attention on a full clean up . I sadly do not have pictures but let me just say you need to give this place a try. I know to some it may look bad because of previous pictures, reviews, etc, but I went recently and loved it. For two people with drinks the price came out to 37$ I believe. The food taste so good and they have plenty of options. They also have a sushi station where you have a good selection to choose from. The hot foods are the best here in my opinion. They have the conventional fries and chicken for kids but besides that the rest is foods such as chow mein, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, shrimp, miso soup, etc. The dessert section is also nice with plenty of options as well. Like I said this is a place you need to try on your own. I personally loved it and would go back. Knowing a deal when I see one, it was time, once again, to seductively slip on the stretchy pants. Beef & chicken are the options over at the Mongolian BBQ section for an employee to cook on the spot. Plenty of vegetable items, such as garlic, bean sprouts, broccoli & onions. I don't know if it was the quality of meat or the cook taking too long with it, but the beef turned out rather tough. Knowing it's a cheap buffet, I wasn't expecting much but after 1 plate, I was done with the Mongolian BBQ. Hot items had food catered to American tastes - pizza, chicken wings, apple pie, broccoli beef etc. Other selections included various soups, mushroom chicken, buchi & baked salmon. Nothing impressive, but decent. The sushi section simply had variations of California rolls. I was hoping for some tuna and/or salmon, but alas, only the "vanilla" of sushi rolls here. However, the desserts section was a winner! Macaroons, creme puffs, cakes, watermelon and other items to appease the sweet tooth. Also included, a froyo station with 4 flavors - chocolate, vanilla, banana & strawberry. Definitely not Yogurtland quality, but the chocolate wasn't bad. Lots & lots of seating! Enough for your family reunion. Enough for both your neighbor's family reunions. Enough for your family's, your neighbor's families & your cousin's, sister's, brother's family reunion combined. Service was good. My attendant cleared my plates ASAP, and made sure I had plenty of water to drink. Plenty of parking. Asian Star Buffet is an okay Chinese buffet. I wasn't enthusiastic about anything offered during lunch. There are lots of buffet options closer to me.
