It's been four years since we been here and honestly I wish I had a better review because at one point it was my favorite. We drive out of our way to actually come and eat at this buffet. Food looked like it was there for a while and there was flies on some of the food. We have visited Asian Star buffet a few times now, I will say it's not the highest quality buffet we have tried BUT their food is good enough to keep coming back. I definitely recommend going earlier in the day rather than closer to their closing time as the food will not be as fresh and is more limited. Staff is friendly always, we are always seated right away. The place itself is not very loud, they have smooth music playing in the background. I have eaten here since the restaurant has opened, I believe in 2018. It used to be a Goodwill Thrift Store. The food selections are many. Asian ad well as American. Lots of seafood's to choose from. Octopus, shrimp, coca butter, in shell, no shell, steamed, butterfly, crayfish, clams, mussels, imitation crab, and crab legs, fish, calimari, and more. Not very busy so you can get seated quickly, but sadly for the same reason food stays out and does not look fresh. The best/freshest thing to eat would be the Mongolian bbq that's offered. read more

I came in for lunch with already modest expectations -- after all, it's a Chinese buffet. Unfortunately, this place somehow managed to fall below even those low standards. Amazing. One staff member was more focused on rearranging the five remaining pieces of cold chicken skewers than actually refilling the trays. The same went for the wings and several other items -- clearly left sitting too long and barely warm. The sushi section was particularly concerning: mostly empty, with lukewarm pieces that looked like they'd been out far too long. Definitely not something you want to gamble on. Freshness, what's that? Not up in here for lunch. There are other buffets somewhat nearby that don't serve trash for Lunch. Eat at your own risk on any day besides the weekend, probably. read more

My family and I decided to give it a try to this place and honestly - I want to say is a good place . We didn't know but we came in the perfect time for dinnner. We were able to get Mariscos ;) . The only thing is that They have certain times and prices for lunch and dinner . If you go for lunch there are some food you can't have . If you like Mariscos is best for you to go for dinner !!. There are a lot of stray cats around here, but one was burned with hot oil to try to scare it away, which is really upsetting. No animal should ever be harmed like that. I went to this buffet yesterday and I saw some salmon, which I will not lie it looks a little suspicious but I tried and IT WAS BAD, it tasted like if it has been in there for days and nasty. I also try their mussels I think they have and is a NO. Their food is not fresh , just some of it. After I ate there, my stomach started to feel weird. The service is not that good, plus I got drinks, my friend got a pink lemonade that tasted just like water with a weird flavor! I have no picture to show cuz I forgot my phone in the car. Hate to say it but this used to be my Favorite Place to eat. It's been at least a year since my last visit due to some personal issues but was looking very much forward to eating there again. First, I noticed it seemed kind of empty for it being the weekend. Second, the interior temperature of the dining area was hotter & more humid than the outside temperature. Didn't think much about it at the time but as we started eating, it started to get unbearable. We asked the waiter if they could turn on the air conditioner because it was too hot and he responded yes and went to the front desk. After about 15 minutes as I was sweating profusely, I asked the waiter again if they had turned on the air-conditioning and he responded " let me go check". He returned to his area and started talking too one of his coworkers without telling us anything about the air-conditioning. As we finished our second plate, we couldn't stand it anymore and got up & went to the front counter, complained to the young man sitting there on his phone. Me and my wife would have been much more comfortable if they would've had tables outside to eat, even in this heat wave that we are having. We do not plan on returning at all also because the food wasn't as good tasting as I remember in the past most likely due to it sitting there all afternoon (dining area almost completely empty). read more

It's been a long time since I've been to a Chinese buffet. I came here around 2pm on a weekday and the price was $15.99. This place has a huge sitting area. It's very clean and spacious. They have a good selection of food. My favorite would be their Szechuan spicy fish and tofu dish. That taste is on point. I also enjoyed their broccoli dishes, chicken skewer, shrimps, ice cream, and Mongolian bbq. For the price, it's pretty good deal. They also have sushi,pizza, salad, and other desserts like cakes and cream puff. I tried one piece sushi which I thought was egg inside but turn out to be cheese. That wasn't good to me. The cakes were too dry, but they have a good selection of ice cream including green tea and coffee. They offer more seafood during the weekend. Service was good. The host was friendly and the staff was constantly clearing our table and checking in on us. I'll be back when I crave Chinese buffet or can't figure out what to eat. read more

Food and service needs improvement, food looks like it has been out for a long time which is bad, the taste of spoiled food and sushi should always be clean properly and not a fishy taste like. Poor server need refills on water and asked multiple times and no one came to bring it which it was a slow day. Just like any other buffet place, same food same desserts and same ambiance. Eat until you drop. Now what stands out is your drinks. The customer service they give you when your drinks are empty. In this case, the buffet restaurant was close to empty. Around 2pmsh. Our server did not deliver. Kept reminding him to fill up our drink refills. Now this is what stands out from every buffet. Came here after church. Was going to another restaurant but line was too long. We walked inside the buffet and was seated immediately. Now they have lots of seating, as majority of buffets do. Food quality was decent. I have a family of 8 and I think our bill was going to be roughly around a little over $100. Got the tab and it was $220! Like seriously, I calculated the adults and was like wait did they charge us $100 extra?! I was too tired and so upset and the same time I didn't even want to dispute it or argue with them cause I know how it'll go. I told my husband we never should have dined here. I originally wanted to grab something to eat and head home but he figured eating here would be good. Nope. Worst experience ever and we've eaten at lots of buffets and our tabs were never that high. Delicious, but too expensive for what it is. It's a hit or miss here, sometimes there's flies around, other times it's nice and clean.

First time coming here the food was good, there's lots of options sea food Mongolian ribs pizza fries ice cream pretty diverse. Ice cream I had was pistachio , cookies and cream, vanilla, and coffee which I paired with the cute little tiramisu it was such a good combo. (Photo attached). Cleanliness was ok, bathroom was soo bad didn't even bother using it. But again might have been because it was very packed . We went on a Sunday which is all day dinner pricing of $21 per person. The main draw for us is the sashimi and sushi offered in addition to the array of Asian American themed food along with a Mongolian grill. There's a little of everything for all palates. It isn't the best but not the worst. The focus of Asian Star Buffet is about feeding a crew four adult kids appetites without breaking the bank. The server added a 10% gratuity. The restaurant itself is clean from the serving line to the dining room. The bathroom is it's own mystery. Hold your breath if you have to go. It has a musty, chemical, urine mixed with bleach "je ne sais quoi" aroma. I'd rather use a gas station bathroom. read more

Hot hot hot! They don't spend a dime on AC, and if you have to use the bathroom, it's a sauna. Besides it being hot and humid, it's dirty and no seat covers. Walls need good wiping. You don't eat comfortably because it's so hot in the restaurant. It was pretty empty. Some foods were dry from our heating. As far as service the girl host was just as dry as the food. The dessert however, the options were extremely limited, more fruits and old pastry's that taste old as hell. Wasn't gonna be too harsh until I got the bill, 20.99 per person! I will NOT be going back. The food was very cold. I think they turned the heaters off the food because it was almost closing time. They also added a big tip on our Bill. The staff doesn't seem to understand English, they look at you like if you're stupid. Very rude just reaching in between us and grabbing the napkin holder with out saying excuse me. The restaurant has a smell, especially by the ice cream. And what really shock me was the restroom no seat covers the sink. You could tell that it's been years since they washed them very dirty and the food was OK their Mongolian. It's very dry. It's really missing something. I do not recommend this place. read more

We had visit this place twice already , the food quality is very good an place looks very clean and organized , we have tried must of the items serve and all seem to be on the good quality side. The Salmon taste good and they have unlimited scoop ice cream .they might need a little improvement on the service side , missing utensils which only one set is provide and you need to ask if additional if need it , We notice they use the same rag to clean the tables and the stuff around , the same waitress do the clean up and they do not have a station to wash their hands , that is a like questionable. We thought they at least wash their hands after cleaning every table . Also the bathrooms seem clean but might need some attention on a full clean up .
