The food here is really good. Outside is really nice. Inside looks a little sketch. You have to pay through the window and give them your card like a bank teller. After about a year of passing by this place, I finally make the time to stop by (aka ordering online). It truly is the perfect takeout spot and hole in the wall restaurant hidden in the corner of a strip mall in a grocery store parking lot. Unfamiliar with a Chinese takeout spot in the area, and having heard the recommendations from the people closest to me, I decided to give it a go. I order the black pepper chicken with lo mein noodles and an egg roll. It's not a combination that's directly available on the website (unable to choose lo mein noodles in lieu of fried rice) but it is available if you put it in the special notes section on the checkout page before submitting. I haven't had takeout in a while but this was incredible. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, and crispy on the outside while still being juicy on the inside. I don't order lo mein often due to have being burned before by takeout spots either from lacking flavor, or being undercooked. These noodles were everything needed for a redemption in my eyes. The egg roll was shockingly large while still being a quality roll. They give you a handful of different sauce packets in the bag with your meal which I would usually gravitate towards as egg rolls can be a bit dry but I found myself not needing anything extra. I will say this place gets bonus points for putting their food in these recyclable(?) non styrofoam containers. A lot more sturdy, a nicer feel and no weird grating sound when your fork hits the bottom of the container grabbing the last couple pieces of chicken. There's no option to eat inside the restaurant, which is fine as it's a takeout restaurant, but just as a heads up for anyone looking for that. Planning to have a sit down meal I was disappointed to find that they were still in COVID mode and there was not sitting available and business was done through plexiglass shields. I ordered some shrimp rolls (which i thought would be like spring rolls but they are egg rolls), sweet and sour chicken with white rice, and shrimp tempura roll. I love this place, the szechuan chicken has amazing flavor, and sesame chicken or orange chicken is great for something crunchy and sweet, all around $7.15 comes with fried or steamed rice and egg roll, soup, or salad. Well, this is my 3rd visit and it will be my last. The food was particularly bland and uninspired. One of the dishes, the House Special Lo Mein tasted burned. I also ordered a small side of fries which were dark brown and nasty. Especially after they were packed in a polyurethane box which just made them more soggy. This was the first time to try, as not chinese in quite some time. I know now, that yes you need to order online, which from their website they have an excellent app or call in. I just happened to drive up and the lady at the window showed to call. I made my order of king pao chicken, hot & sour soup and egg roll and the same with general tso's. She called me on phone in 10 minutes and I really appreciate the homemade drawer like a bank to deposit your money and get your food. They are taking the Covid-19 seriously and that should give confidence they are being safe preparing your meal. Once got home, the food was plentiful and it had a good kick of heat which I liked. This is a great late-night takeout place. I love that they're open late, because I can actually get good food even when I don't get off of work until 10pm. I always get steamed dumplings and hibachi chicken, and I always have leftovers. When I get both, I end up taking the hibachi chicken to work and I can usually get two lunches out of it. It's not too expensive either, as I can get those two things for about $13, which is great considering I get several meals out of it. MORE WORK IS NEEDED! My husband and I decided to try this casual restaurant for dinner tonight. It seems to be primarily a "take out" establishment but we decided to eat in . The ladies were very nice and accommodating and offered to prepare my vegetables in a white sauce because I don't care for brown. I ordered chicken and veggies with a spring roll and chicken wings. The serving sizes of our main dish were huge and we regretted ordering the rolls and wings. We had no idea that the portion sizes were much larger than expected. My husband ordered the Kung Pao chicken and spring roll as well. My husband's dish was not a spicy as requested and I noticed that his peanuts weren't incorporated into the sauce. This was okay with him though. My main dish was okay except I prefer more green veggies and none of those mini corn cobs because they just interfere with the enjoyment of the dish. We both found the rolls VERY greasy and I could not eat mine, but my husband ate both of them. When the wings finally arrived, they were too heavily battered, (like a gluten-free flour was used), and way too greasy. They also had an odd spice added to mix and I could not eat them. I like a very simple light breading or not at all, salt and pepper only, chicken wing. I also like to have my wings completely folded tightly prior to frying so that they stay folded and provide a better presentation. The food was okay but definitely needed more detailed attention. I went here today for dinner and I think I have found my next Chinese take out place. First, I really liked how clean it is and the nicer and environment this particular store is situated in. Most of the Chinese take out places are in shady shopping malls and the interior of the restaurants are very grimy and old. Not the case with Asian Delight, they have a very nice location and the interior is fairly new and modern. Secondly, when I came in around 5:15 they were not particularly busy so I thought I'd have to wait for me food. However, they started cooking it once I ordered it and had me out the door within 10 minutes with fresh and tasty food. Thirdly, the food itself is wonderful. The rice itself is kind of tasteless. However, they give you a very sizable portion of meat with whatever you order. One thing that I would seek to change is maybe offer the sauces for free. I think with the rice being kind of tasteless and flavorless the sauces should be offered for free, kind of like Joy of Tokyo read more

Every Chinese restaurant in Philly offers ribs, and most offer chicken gizzards! The Chinese restaurants I have been to in Greenville don't offer it. Surprising, considering this is the South. Asian Delight's fried rice is so bland! I'm used to fried rice that is actually fried and has sweet peas, carrots and chunks of tender roasted pork and pieces of scrambled eggs. Sooooo good!
