The Food: Pretty good overall. They kept the hot bars well-stocked, and the variety was excellent. Everything tasted fresh, which can sometimes be hit-or-miss at a buffet, but they nailed it. The Service: The staff was pretty good! Tables were cleared quickly, and our drinks were topped off without us having to flag anyone down. Friendly and efficient. The Vibe: Honestly, a really good atmosphere. It was clean, comfortable, and had a nice, welcoming energy that made for a great casual meal. End of a long day hard work. Had the middles of my daughters, number two and number three. They wanted Chinese buffet and so we came here. This is a really nice place. The price isn't too bad. We came on a Thursday night and it's pretty mellow. My 13-year-old says this: I love it. This place is really beautiful. They did a really good job on the food. It was super tasty. It's really peaceful here right now and I like that cause of other restaurants, there's people constantly talking and making a lot of background noise and she gets overwhelmed. My eight-year-old says: I really like the food. The ice cream is amazing. I got mine really tall. (note for the Parents in the audience. Her big sister helped her get a plate of good healthy stuff before she got the ice cream.) My kids are telling me this place is as good or better than the one up in Sydney. We eat there every once in a while but now we've got a new place to stop for decent Asian buffet and it's a bit closer. read more

Not worth $40!!! I read the reviews and thought me and my husband could give it a try. We learn that the reviews on Google are 100% correct. Their was gnats flying around our table. The food didn't look good at all. The chicken from the Hibachi area was very chewy. They Lo mein noodles had no flavor and the noodles weren't cooked all the way. The sugar donuts were crunchy and not soft. Also it is a bit strange when you have to pay up front, plus your tip before you can be seated. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I went here with my sons after reading some very positive reviews, but our experience was disappointing. The food was not hot, and some items seemed old or poorly kept. The orange chicken was hard and tough, though the teriyaki chicken was okay and the egg drop soup was good. I also noticed what looked like mold or dust on the ceiling above the food area, and there were flies around the crab, which made us uncomfortable. The staff were not very attentive, and for $60 for three people, I expected a cleaner place and better food quality. read more

The food was good but service left alone to be desired. The restaurant was not very busy but the server we had took her time about bringing our drinks; we were seated and eating when drinks arrived. She felt it necessary to clean a table and sweep an area prior to bringing drinks. The only way to get a refill of water was to ask if and when she walked past. Stopped here with my husband for dinner at 6 PM. Will not return - expensive for just two people and very gross food. No options and the ones they do have are awful Rubbery cold meat, some fried food like the egg rolls were so mushy they couldn't stay together while some fried options like donuts were harder than a rock i couldn't bite through it. My buddy and myself came here after work one evening for supper and the vomit came as soon as we hit the parking lot after leaving . This was the worst buffet I've ever experienced. The Mussels tasted like muddy creek water, some of the food was cold, half the meat was rubbery and under cooked the other half would almost bend your fork, and the sushi was very hard. Finally the cost was around $21 with a water and a three dollar tip which I feel is pretty expensive especially based on the food quality. My partner and I tried this place for what will be the last time last night. Stopped in at 8:00, for two people to eat was $32. Only two trays of "dinner" food and two trays of dessert. Our real issue was the cleanliness of the restaurant. We noticed food stains on the painting beside the table, table was sticky, and I've seen truck stop bathrooms cleaner than the women's restroom. We will never be coming back. If they let the lobby and bathrooms be that unhygienic, I don't want to know how the kitchen prep looks. Prepare yourself, these photos are disgusting. read more

I haven't been here for a while. I feel that this dining experience is different from before. Many new dishes have been added, and the long-lost ice cream has also returned. Especially the fruit salad and kelp salad are my favorite. I am very grateful to the boss for his care. We like it very much, and the children are also very happy. It was absolutely terrible. We got there and already there was some crack head outside. We go in and he actually follows us. Not too sure what he was saying but he did indeed have some things to say. Then we go in and get our food, tasted bad. Very obviously, the food was reheated and it was cold. The teriyaki tasted terrible. Everything looks good but tastes bad. The ladies there were all Asian and they were circling our table like sharks. I didn't mind. After we left we gave a $2 tip as it was all we had. If your diet is strict plant based (Vegan) don't come here. Absolutely no proteins (Tofu) or bean curd on buffet-I requested bean curds and I was told not for hibachi grill. All vegetables are cooked in butter on buffet. Image below is how plate was presented to me. Cook doesn't care about his work that's obviously from his behavior. I reviewed this restaurant several years ago and nothing has changed from a vegan perspective. This review isn't to bash but help other vegans make a decision from my review. Vegetables do not taste bad it's actually good but I like tofu as a protein being that's common ingredient for Asian cuisine. Egg rolls are vegetarian without meat. But still asked before eating. Two buffets tables are closed and four are open. Cost little north of $14.00 dollars., not bad for none plant base diets but lacking more options for anyone with strict diet NOT enough verity for Vegans in my humble opinion. Ambiance is typical Asian but it's very clean, restroom are very clean, floor is clean and buffet bars are kept clean. I was comfortable seating at table and service was prompt and friendly. Multiple cultures working here is very nice but staff on hibachi grill don't listen or maybe don't understand my request. I took notice East Indians worked as cashiers and one male host appeared East Indian. Hopefully if my guess is correct will see Dosa's and East Indian food on those closed buffet tables that'll become nice fusion for this establishment. They want you to pay before going to the buffet. Weird! It's not like it's Golden Corral. I know what to expect there but at a Chinese Buffett? I don't like their approach. I took a look at their buffett and turned and walked out. I don't even know what they charge, but I know I wasn't willing to pay it. Bathroom fixtures are falling apart in the restroom, and the buffet is only about 2/3 of the size it previously was. Food is either overcooked or tasteless or both. This used to be a buffet with really good food, in which my husband and I looked forward too. The last two times we have eaten there tho, the quality of food has gone from bad to worse. If you enjoy old, stale, rubbery, terrible food then this place is for you. If not, don't waste your money here. We went in at prime time, around 7:30pm. The front staff that greets you are very nice but don't let them lure you in. We visited 4/1/21 for the first time since Covid. I was hesitant to go to a buffet, but once we got there I was pleased with what I saw. Each guest is required to wear a mask and gloves while at the buffet tables. They've shut down the self- serve ice cream and reduced the number of items on the buffet, but the sushi and hibachi grill are still available. Customers were seated at every other table. A very typical Chinese buffet in Dayton, Ohio. The price was cheap and they have a variety of dishes to choose from but overall, nothing really stood out. The buffet space was huge however, they had a very large dining area plus a party room. I did find the set up interesting as it reminded me of Old Country Buffet but with Chinese food. I was full but not satisfied. There wasn't much to choose from around the area so I can't complain much. If you're craving the buffet, this is it. Otherwise, I can't really recommend it further than because of the convenience factor alone. read more

Tried Asian Buffet for the first time tonight, and was definitely disappointed. I ordered the bourbon chicken combination platter and the large shrimp fried rice. The bourbon chicken was cooked WAY too hard, and was "drowned" in sauce. The only good thing about the platter was the fried rice; which, is sad. One of my favorite meals is shrimp fried rice and I was definitely disappointed in it. First, out of all the Chinese places in Dayton, they have the smallest shrimps I've ever seen. They are the "salad shrimps", the smallest shrimps you can buy. And to me, when I order the "large", I at least expect a nice amount of shrimp in there. To my surprise, I was disappointed, it had to be no more than 8-12 shrimp. Also, there were three shrimp that weren't devined or properly cleaned; I could tell by the dirt that was around it. I just wasn't pleased at all with my meal. The only thing I was satisfied with was the egg roll. So, if you plan on spending $23.49 on an egg roll, then Asian Buffet is the place to go. I learned a long time ago that the secret to eating at these buffets was to go at the busy times. The food turns over quickly and doesn't have the time to get cold or funky. The food was not fresh. The sauce on the General Tso's chicken and the Honey Chicken was really good. But the chicken itself was very dry and tough. The salmon looked and smelled good, but tasted like straight fish tank water. The egg roll was just okay. The Lo mein noodles looked dry but I decided to give them a try anyways.
