Stopped in here for lunch while running errands on this side of town with my guy. We walked in and were promptly greeted by a woman server. She had a full house. All the tables either had people or needed to be cleaned. She gave us menus and brought water. We ordered the lunch special. Great value!! I had the Szechwan chicken, he had the General Tso's chicken. I got the wonton soup, he had the crab ragoon and we both ordered the side of lo main that was included with the special. I also added an egg roll because I like variety and I was hungry. The food started coming out immediately. The wonton soup was boring and lacked depth of flavor. The egg roll was good. The crab lagoon, tasty. The lo mean was perfection for us. Big portion and great flavor. I enjoyed my chicken dish but the General Tso's chicken was a bit of a miss. It was white meat chicken friend in a light crisp crusted (think sweet and sour chicken) and then had sauce spooned over it. Eh, not our favorite. Our bill came and it was $16 total for all that food! I should also mention the server was slammed from the moment we walked in to the moment e left. She was the only one in there and it was a full house. Plus she handled some to go orders while we were there. She always had a smile on her face and though you knew she was stressed because of the circumstances, she never lost her cool. Kudos to you young lady!! We will be back when in the area! read more

I was missing food from California. So I yelped for the closest Chinese food. This is what I found. The yelp reviews were decent here so I took a chance. Boy, I was disappointed. First of all, this place is super small. No one was dining in. The service was fairly ok when they came around. I got up few times just to get some service. I ordered the Salt & Pepper Calamari. It was soggy and lack flavors. I also got the Double Pan Fried Noodles. It was burnt and needs more seasoning. It also needs more sauce to cover the noodles. It felt like eating prick needles, which was hurting my throat. I don't expect perfection here as I know I am from the land of mega asian food, but this place could use some useful suggestions. I also ordered some togo items, such as Wonton Soup and Beef Flat Noodle for my brother. He threw up and said "this is terrible. I told you not to go there". This is from a man, who has been on liquid diet for 1 week and is a local here. Sorry for this review. I meant no harm.I am just missing from great Chinese Food from California read more

food too high priced for bad food. chicken was dry and tough. fried rice tasteless. sause homemade and was aweful. i will not ever go back read more

Nope not at all! We dined here a few weeks ago and actually sat down and ate. The service was about the best thing I can talk about. We ordered a lo mein and the General Tso Chicken and neither was very good at all. Both came out hot but quality and flavor was not there. It is pretty hard to mess up either of these dishes but they managed to do so. We also ordered a slice of cheesecake and it tasted like it had been frozen or refrigerated for a while because you could taste just about everything in the refrigerator on the cheesecake, not to mention it was only about two bites. read more

We have had good food previously from the Plainfield Asia Wok. But last night, the food just tasted bland and the Pineapple chicken had a strange sauce after taste. read more

Food quality is excellent. Very friendly and easy to communicate with. Only downside is no delivery. Wish they could set something up with uber eats or something like that. read more

So, the hubs and I enjoy take-out Chinese at least once a month. Up until a little while ago, we were very loyal to Happy Dragon. While HD is still very good, our new go to is Asia Wok. Everything is incredibly fresh and has great flavor. Veggies are crisp and not over-done. My fav is the garlic friend rice! If you plan on eating in, seating is extremely limited. However, everything looks very clean and is decorated is a warm, inviting way. read more

Asia Wok was some of the best Asian food I've had in the outskirts of Indy!! I had been looking for General Tso Shrimp in the city and finally I found this gem in Plainfield! Loved presentation of the food and they have amazing cheesecake to Boot!!! Yummy! Lots of food for the price, def will return!! read more

I ordered Hot & Sour soup, Salt & Pepper Shrimp and Pepper Steak. The Hot & Sour soup was neither Hot, nor Sour enough. Aside from the soup needing a bit more care the other two main dishes were good. Also, the girl at the counter greeted me with a smile (which doesn't happen very often these days) and the food came out quick. On top of everything, the restaurant was very clean. read more

The food is always excellent. Better than a lot of Chinese restaurants. My only complaint this evening, we're obviously in a hotel (they knew because we told them) but they did not send us any silverware, and there were no sauces, not even soy. We had to beg silverware from the front desk, and everything was delicious but I would have liked a little soy sauce on it. read more

I don't leave reviews so yk this place is no bueno. Honey chicken and orange chicken were sooo syrupy it tasted like pure corn syrup. The fried rice dead ass tasted like dirty water and the lo mein whew chile just spaghetti noodles w soy sauce. I do NAUGHT recommend 0/10 experience. Would give 0 but sadly not an option. read more

Great food, fast friendly service,on the plus lakers an girl working the front So orders are right...great food for the price

Scorched! Ah Asia Wok. How you disappointed me so. My egg drop soup was scorched! I am EggDropErin for cryin' out loud! The rest of my food was actually really good. My honey chicken was tasty. It was very sweet, but that was to be expected. I had a taste of my friend's pineapple chicken which was also very good. Lots of nice chunks of pineapple. Our service was lacking. The place was small, but it was packed. They needed more than one person waiting on everyone. read more

Used this place to feed ~40 people excellent vegan food for a rehearsal dinner. I heard nothing but great things about the taste. The total bill was very affordable and working with the team there to coordinate the large order was very easy. Food was able to be picked up on time, properly packaged. Great staff, great food. read more

Great fresh food every time. The best Chinese food I have ever had. Everything is so fresh and made when you order. The restaurant is also clean and super cute!! Must try! read more

Visiting out of town for a work trip and wanted some Chinese food. This establishment is located not too far from my hotel which was great. Their menu is not as extensive as most, but nothing is wrong with that. I ordered a special of the day. I should have known not to order this item, as it is primarily Korean food. Really didn't taste good. I was disappointed in it. read more

Favorite Chinese place - even over PF Chang's! Their lettuce wraps are amazing! Love the personal service and the owner/cook is a sweet guy who I'm not sure speaks a lot of English. I have had the 10 ingredient fried rice, the hunan chicken, and king pao beef. My son loved their homemade egg drop soup. The crab rangoons and spring rolls are amazing! read more

A little strip mall Asian restaurant but not your typical strip mall restaurant. Very clean and amazing menu. I actually like that the drinks and soup comes in a styrofoam cup. Easy to just take home and you know it's clean. Firecracker udon noodles tasted amazing but we're not spicy enough. The hot and sour soup was so great! Good service and fast fresh food! read more

I love this place! If you are a fan of PF Chang's style Chinese rather than the typical over sauced over salted greasy fast food Chinese takeout that constitutes 90% of the Chinese available in and around Indianapolis then this is the place for you. If you prefer your egg-rolls to have a pink tinge and your duck sauce to come prepackaged and flavorless then I suggest you steer clear. read more

I'm not sure how this place got 4 1/2 stars the place looks nice but the food is horrible. I had the Hawaiian chicken and that was some of the toughest chicken I have ever had in my life, I tried this place two times and both times wasn't good I'm done. read more

Oh Yelp, you've failed me! The hot and sour soup and drinks were served in styrofoam cups and bowl which I thought was odd. The silverware rolled up in a napkin only included a fork, which made cutting my honey chicken clumsy and difficult. The honey chicken with the fried rice was ok but not anything I would order again. I'll definitely try out other Chinese places. read more

Food tasted stale, especially the Crab Rangoons... I'm willing to give them another try but my first impression was less than stellar.

Nice people and great food. However, I asked if they make a particular dish and they stated yes. Paid for it *on this occasion* and the dish wasn't even remotely what I asked for which was disappointing.. other times the food has been good. read more

Very good, I love it. High quality food, clean, good service. The 10 ingredient fried rice was very good as were the egg rolls and the egg drop soup. read more

This is a great spot. The lunch special is really good. Like that you can build your own special.

I've had this place a few times, and it's very good. Employees are friendly, relaxed and happy vibe inside, and pretty quick with the food. The only things, I didn't agree with are the prices (which are rather pricey for an average Chinese place), and the egg rolls taste like rubber. Other than that, it's a thumbs up restaurant. I do recommend it. read more

Some of the best quality Chinese I've had in the Midwest. Lunch specials are incredible and the quality and flavor of most dishes are a step above anything else in the area. read more

NOTORIETY: N/A FOOD: Hot & sour soup: It was more hot than sour, but I thought it was pretty good w/ its soft tofu. Triple delicacy: The meat in this dish was tender but celery had no business in this dish. Mapo tofu: This dish was a bit too salty for my liking. OVERALL: I give Asia Wok 2 stars b/c I've honestly experienced better. It was a cool ambiance but some of the food was not to my liking, i.e. too salty. RECOMMENDATION: N/A TIP: 1. The waitresses there are attractive. 2. There are coupons available that you can find on the net to print out. read more

I have tried a various dinners here, and it's alway fresh and delicious. Try their homemade sweet and sour sauce too, so good!

The food was really good and service was great. We had General Tsos chicken with vegetable fried rice and a vegetable chicken with white rice. The General Tsos chicken was not spicy at all. It was really good and price seemed fair. The only reason I didn't rate a 5 was the portions seemed smaller compared to other Chinese restaurants. read more

I have had a difficult time finding Chinese food that has flavor. Today was my first trip to Asia Wok. It was a great experience. Good food. Good service. Clean. Nice tables and chairs. Other restaurant owners could learn a lot from this place. I had a cup of Sweet & Sour Soup (Medium spice) and Ten Ingredient Fried Rice. Yum! Had to take part of rice home. read more

Asia Wok - Ten Ingredient Fried Rice Moist and flavorful! - Chinese Near Me - Plainfield, Indiana

This place is great. I'm picky when it comes to Chinese food, but this is by far the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. Here in town on business, and have had it twice within a week. (Will probably be 3 before I go home). Both times to go, and was hot when I got it back to my hotel room. Fresh, homemade sauces, (soy, hot mustard etc.) Most expensive thing I saw on the menu is less than $12. Portions are plentiful, satisfies my hunger. Friendly staff, nothing bad to say about this place, based on my 2 visits... read more

Best chinese restaraunt in Plainfield. All of my friends' and family's favorite!! Also has great vegetarian and vegan options. Just order vegetable or tofu entrees and you can ask for fried rice with no egg! read more

I've been here several times. Love it. Nice, little restaurant that's off the beaten path.

We order from here all the time and have never been disappointed. Finding good Chinese food in the Mid West is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I have tried them all and Asia Wok is the only one I have gone back to. It's small and tucked away in a strip mall that's old and falling apart, but, don't let that deter you. The food is great! My favorite meal is the orange beef, so crisp and delicious. My kids love the chicken lo mein, and my husband favors the sesame chicken. The egg rolls and crab rangoon are your typical Chinese restaurant fare, but, still tasty, and the fried rice is always very good. If you're in the Plainfield area and want some Chinese food, Asia Wok is the place to go. read more

Wow! Just in town for business. This is the best kung pao chicken I've ever had in the Midwest and I know because I'm asain. Full of flavor not breaded and quality ingredients. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Good food. Loved that they have stir fried Chinese vegetables. Choi Sum. They are very flexible on adjusting a dish. For example, I asked for no sugar and they could do that. Only negative is that they give you everything in cut up boxes so twice now I've had sauce dripping on me. read more

Having burnt myself out on buffets and Panda Express, I haven't been a fan of Chinese food in a long time. The quality of Asia Wok's food is SO GOOD that I enjoy the flavors again. Everything is made to order, so if I don't want peppers or mushrooms, it gets made to my liking. Nice full portion sizes (I never leave hungry). Lettuce wraps that rival PF Changs. Good rangoons (no crab taste!). Weekday lunch deals that make it even harder to resist. The place is tiny, and I hope they do well enough to expand. The décor isn't your typical Chinese buffet décor -- it's modern and clean, yet a warm atmosphere. The guy that runs the kitchen is the friendliest chef I've ever met. Always a smile on his face! I rarely leave feedback about a place, even if I like it, but Asia Wok stands out and I want to see it do well and stay around for a long time. There is a Brownsburg location, but I prefer the Plainfield one hands-down. read more

Great lunch, with super prices. Service was excellent, too. Well under $20 for 2 entrees, 4 appetizers, and two drinks.
