Awesome food and great service. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy Chinese food.

tried this place after reading the favorable reviews, I ordered for a family so there was a variety of food. The food was bland and barely seasoned they couldn't even toss the chicken in the sauce it was sparingly drizzled over it, another dish was inedible because it tasted like the Styrofoam container it came in and the fried rice being the most edible thing was barely able to be considered not just plain white rice. Lastly the portion sizes reflect on the cheaper menue prices versus their competitors because their large size is more equivalent to what one would expect of a small sized portion. This is just my opinion and it's based off one initial visit but I am neither petty nor a glutton this is just an honest review based on my conservative disappointment. read more

Wow! It's been six years since my original review here. The granddaughter had an appointment across the road for eyelashes and we were super early so we decided to eat first. The Pepper Steak is still the best I have ever had at any Chinese restaurant. I need to come back more often. She got the Pot Stickers which were good. I had one too. I also ordered the Egg Drop soup and it was very good. The service was extra fast and friendly. Even though it was two o'clock in the afternoon, people would come and go to pick up food orders. It didn't slow down the one person who was working the dining room and order counter. read more

I ordered the Honey Chicken to go thinking I could get a nice chicken dish. Protein is what I wanted so I thought I couldn't go wrong with a simple honey chicken. I did expect for there to be a light breading cause it is deep fried. What I wasn't expecting was laziest excuse for a dish. This is exactly why I'm always skeptical when going to a restaurant. Will I encounter an owner and chef who actually cares about what they're serving? Or will I encounter the " Buy everything from a restaurant supplier of mass produced frozen bags only to later be ripped open and poured into a deep fryer and served up as " Honey Chicken". I normally don't leave bad reviews but for god sakes people, " MAKE AN EFFORT!" How hard is it to cut an actual piece of chicken and lightly bread it yourself. Is it really that difficult to make a meal half decent!!! I can't speak for any of their other dishes but this is the one I got. From the looks of other pictures they probably do it with other items as well. Shrimp as well I'm sure. read more

Asia Wok - Honey Chicken. Abysmal. - Chinese Near Me - Plainfield, Indiana

The food was terrible. The chicken is small scrappy pieces, not solid square pieces. The sauce of the Mongolian chicken was wrong. It was also cooked too hot and too long. Smelled and tasted burnt. It had chili flakes in it making it spicy. That's not how it's always been made. We started going to the Danville location. read more

I got this order as a takeout so I cannot speak too well for the ambiance of the interior of the space as I did not take note of it. The order was right on time as scheduled and everything was in order to that respect. I ordered... Sweet and sour pork ($8.25 regular portion): this was about the standard sweet and sour pork I've had at other similar restaurants. It is usually my staple Chinese takeout order for a reason! Lo mein ($2 side up charge): it was okay at first but very greasy at the bottom of the dish. Three stars overall because it wasn't bad but I was not amazed. read more

Review is for carry out! The person on the phone was super friendly and repeated everything make to make sure the order was correct (which is was). Food was very average. Portion size of the "regular" was good for one person. Food was just as expected. Maybe on the salty side but also that's kind of what you'd expect! Flavor wasn't out of this world, but it was good. Crab Rangoon was good, but didn't come with any dipping sauce, which was an unexpected bummer. Prices were as expected for this type of restaurant. Overall very average, nothing bad but nothing necessarily stand out either. read more

#1 such friendly people when you call in an order. I ordered Moo shu but I asked for no meat. They asked if I wanted any specific veggies or anything added. #2 I ordered honey chicken extra crispy. I hate when you get take out and it's mush when you get home, this is so crispy and hot, you would have thought it was freshly served in the restaurant. The chicken is also white meat chicken... so good! If you're staying at the Courtyard nearby and you're looking for a good stay in dinner, try this out! I ordered twice in the same week because I couldn't stop thinking about it. Such friendly people and good food, I had to leave a review! read more

The best pad Thai that we've had since Thai One On went out of business in Avon. Prices were really reasonable.

Asia wok was pretty tasty. We were in the lookout for our new Chinese spot and I think we have a winner. The sauce in the beef and broccoli was great and the flavors of the hot and sour soup were amazing as well. We will definitely be coming back! Service was also fantastic. read more

Food tasted yummy. Small portions, longer wait and we did not feel the complete best afterwards. Tasty food though!

We did a large order pick up and everything was great. Large portion sizes and flavor filled meals. Staff even caught that one of the portions I ordered wasn't there and they chased after me as i was getting in to the car. Thank you for the customer care! read more

Less than what we expected from Yelper reviews. Went straight to the lettuce wraps. Too much hoisin sauce and soy sauce. Salty. Half of lettuce was limpy and not good for wraps. We ordered soup. Both the egg drop and the hot and sour were thick from too many gelatin sheaves. Flavor was good on the hot and sour. The pot stickers appeared as if made by a beginner, no fluting, doughy and unappealing. I would not order again. The Lo Mein appeared to be regular spaghetti with too much soy sauce and scraps of chicken, beef and pork ribs with a few 31/33 count shrimp. They probably have a repeat trade of folks looking for a cheap Asian meal and if that's what you want then this hits the mark. We won't be back Our server was very pleasant, prompt and attentive. This is the best Asian food ever! I am so picky and so particular on how I like my chicken and this place is the best hands down! The lettuce wraps are always amazing! Every time I have gone in the lady at the front counter is the same, and she is so helpful and so nice. She has great customer service skills and definitely knows how to run the business efficiently! read more

Just had two dinners delivered from Asia Wok. I have never seen such small portions for Chinese food. Also, the egg roll and spring roll were tiny-smaller than the width of a pinky finger. The chicken was dry and chewy like it was at least a day old. You are warned. read more

The food is really good. however the lady that rang my order up was very rude. I assume she didn't like the fact that i didn't tip her for my take out order. it was about 3:20pm 01/30/25. As i'm paying and signing my receipt she throws my copy on the counter. She is nice until you don't tip then she gets upset. Please hire better staff it's a hassle pickup up food. read more

The service was friendly and quick and the lettuce wrap was on good for lunch will be my lunch spot for Asian cuisine

My son loves Chinese food mainly orange chicken. I am new to the area so I looked up local Chinese restaurants and decided to try Asia Wok. The service and staff were very attentive and friendly. This place is lightening quick. We ate dinner and I guessed the portions would be large and they are very generous. I ordered one meal for both of us and we still had leftovers. The menu is plentiful with enough combinations and variations to satisfy any palate. I saw a lot of vegetarian options as well. We ordered cheese rangoons and the triple delicacy. It was very fresh hot and tasty. Also the decor is not your typical Chinese restaurant it's actually very nice. The price is pretty reasonable considering one order should be enough for two people. They also do a lot of carry out as well. We will be back soon. read more

My go to Chinese Restaurant in Hendricks County. Very authentic and not the usual grease fat bomb from most Chinese Places. Hot and sour soup is the bomb. Korean Seafood noodle soup is so good. Salt and pepper shrimp is my go to. Generous portions. Service is fair and they make you wait even though you called in ahead. Prices are on the high side but it's worth it! read more

We've picked up take out from here several times and are never disappointed. We all order different things and share, everything is delicious. The lettuce wraps are my favorite. The other Chinese restaurants do not ever offer them. The restaurant is small with a dining area that is always clean and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They also have daily specials if you order a large there will be plenty of left overs too. read more

Confirm unexpected upcharges before placing your order. Long ago, Veggie Singapore noodles at Asia Wok in Brownsburg and Plainfield won my loyalty with their tastebud tingling curry zing. I learned the hard way that shrimp and egg are included in Veggie Singapore noodles unless their omission is specifically requested when ordering. Last evening, howeve, inquired about an upcharge on my bill. I was informed that the upcharge was for adding vegetables to Veggie Singapore noodles. The Veggie Singapore noodles were still tasty, but now, I will confirm charges before I order from Asia Wok. read more

Wow! What a discovery. I stumbled upon this little gem when looking for a menu online for a different place. This isn't your average every day Chinese take out. It's a step up, offering a slightly more upscale menu with super fresh ingredients. Egg Rolls are handmade and really delicious. They are on the smaller side, when comparing them to the big frozen guys from the other take out joints. Plus, they have house made dipping sauces, including the sinus-clearing hot mustard. It. Is. Amazing. Egg Drop Soup is thick and rich. It's very good, but not the best I've had. It needed a little something. You know, whatever it is that take Egg Drop Soup over the edge. Let's say it's a 3 out of 5 stars. 10 Ingredient Fried Rice was delicious, but there was not a lot of protein in the dish. If you're doing this as an entree, I'd have them add more chicken. Sweet & Sour Chicken was DELICIOUS and their sauce is delicious. It's not the day-glo red sauce that you see way too often. Also, the chicken is hand breaded in a light batter. It has a great flavor. Pork with Kim Chi is really good. It's a nice close to home option for when I can't get to the other side of town for my favorite Korean. I can't wait to try the other items on the menu. Overall, it's really very, very good and I'm so glad that I found it! read more

Truly enjoy all the food from here every-time I go. They have a wide variety of Asian food and it's all very fresh. I have tried several things on the menu and I've never been disappointed. My only complaint is that even if you order ahead you always end up waiting for the food when you go to pickup. This was an issue before COVID, but it continues till now. Even if you wait the recommended wait time, you still end up waiting every time. Other than that it's a great place to order from or stop by for a visit. The restaurant is small especially if you're doing social distancing. read more

This is one of those places that I *almost* don't want to tell people about, because I hate the thought of my husband & I not being able to snag a table after a busy work day :-). BUT...this place is too great not to review & I want them to be busy so they don't have to leave town :-). I will start this review off by saying that the owners, workers & staff at this restaurant are outstanding & incredibly friendly. We eat at Asia Wok at least once a month, sometimes more depending on our schedules. We love the freshness of the ingredients, the attention to detail in preparation, and the ability to customize the spice level on dishes (you can even make non-spicy dishes spicy! :-) ). Yes, "American Chinese Food" staples like Lo Mein & General Tso's might have a little spin here, but that is because this place ACTUALLY MAKES their food, instead of relying on the generic, cookie-cutter food supplies. This restaurant also offers a small gluten-free menu for those interested. A few of our favorite menu items include: - Singapore Noodles [extra spicy] - Double pan fried noodles [spicy] - Firecracker Udon noodles [spicy...we apparently like noodles] - Orange Beef - Pan fried dumplings - Ten Ingredient Fried Rice [adding spice] We've tried a lot of things on the menu, and so far have not had a bad meal. I highly recommend Asia Wok in Plainfield. read more

I have been looking for a new Asian place for the past couple months- and for the time being, I have found it! Happy Dragon on Perry Rd just is not making the cut. This place is awesome! Nice on the inside, nice staff, and yummy food. We got the Vegetarian Tofu with white rice, the firecracker udon noodles with pork, and general tso's beef- ALL were great! We got the small portions and thought it was a good amount, even for dinner. I didn't feel heavy and weighed down after most asian food places. This place has take out, too. I can't wait to go back and try new things! The true test will be how they fare with my go-to dishes: hot n sour soup and lo mien, but for now they get 5 stars. read more

Best Chinese food in Indy. Shrimp fried rice is delicious and classic. Other favorites are won ton soup, shrimp with broccoli, mongolian chicken and shrimp egg foo young. I actually love dining in as much as takeout. It's small yet cozy and the staff is always nice and friendly. The main cook always comes from the back to say hello whenever I'm there for dine in or takeout. Chinese is my favorite cuisine, so this is like comfort food for me. My hubby doesn't really like Chinese food but after a couple of visits with me, he's now a believer! I LOVE Asia Wok! read more

I love this place! Long time customer. At both Brownsburg and Plainfield locations AW thumbs their culinary nose at average old buffet served Asian food. Everything here is served fresh and hot. My favorites are the hot and sour soup, and the lo mien. Also the honey chicken is great, fresh and crispy. A couple of things keep it from 5 stars though: 1) The experience sort of falls off when you dine in. Sometimes they get busy and with carry outs on the phone and at the counter and table full inside it's hard to get some attention. Lunch is fine usually not too busy. The trick is - be patient or come early or late.... Or get carry out. 2) Be prepared to eat some of you food off of or out of styrofoam, not ideal but worth it. At first I wrote this place off because I was turned off by styrofoam, but eventually the taste brought me back! Bottom line, great food made fresh! read more

Ahh! Literally so much mouth watering decisions! Every time I go to Asia Wok my heart just smiles and makes me want to sample everything that they have. They have so many different options and they even have vegetarian choices. When you walk in the environment is a comfortable, and chill environment. It's a nice place to spend time with friends and talk about anything and everything while eating delicious food! It's not expensive and you get what you pay for! I got the Kung Pow with Tofu as well as an egg roll. Usually, when I think of egg rolls I always think they're delicious and amazing and when I get them they are kind of gross. When I decided to try the egg roll from Asia Wok my whole idea of trying egg rolls before changed. I loved it so much. It was amazing and I regret nothing. Everything there is perfect. read more

Stopped in here for lunch while running errands on this side of town with my guy. We walked in and were promptly greeted by a woman server. She had a full house. All the tables either had people or needed to be cleaned. She gave us menus and brought water. We ordered the lunch special. Great value!! I had the Szechwan chicken, he had the General Tso's chicken. I got the wonton soup, he had the crab ragoon and we both ordered the side of lo main that was included with the special. I also added an egg roll because I like variety and I was hungry. The food started coming out immediately. The wonton soup was boring and lacked depth of flavor. The egg roll was good. The crab lagoon, tasty. The lo mean was perfection for us. Big portion and great flavor. I enjoyed my chicken dish but the General Tso's chicken was a bit of a miss. It was white meat chicken friend in a light crisp crusted (think sweet and sour chicken) and then had sauce spooned over it. Eh, not our favorite. Our bill came and it was $16 total for all that food! I should also mention the server was slammed from the moment we walked in to the moment e left. She was the only one in there and it was a full house. Plus she handled some to go orders while we were there. She always had a smile on her face and though you knew she was stressed because of the circumstances, she never lost her cool. Kudos to you young lady!! We will be back when in the area! read more
