    I ordered a cabinet from this store in September 2021 on Labor Day. It is now the first week of March 2022. After attempting to deliver twice already both damaged items, today they finally delivered the item for the third time with still a small spot of damage on the back side. Really unhappy with the quality of the item. This company has no problem passing off damaged goods in the hopes their clients won't notice. They do not offer returns if u get the item and then notice something wrong. Since when is this the kind of business that is ok or acceptable? I will no longer shop Ashley home store!!

    I have other reviews on yelp about ashley and this is an updated review. I have emailed them 3 times in 2 weeks and have not had a reply nor have I received the "check" they were going to mail us. Don't waste your money on the overpriced, inferior products made in China!!!

    I am incredibly upset and unsatisfied with my experience at Ashley Furniture store. I first started being a customer in 2015 and my experience back then was already disappointing. The prices are fair, the quality of the furniture is okay if you don't expect to keep the furniture for 5+ years, but the customer service and sales tactics are unbelievably dishonest. I must have forgotten what happened back then, because I made the mistake of buying furniture from them again only to be tricked by a sales person and then not have my furniture delivered on time. The sales person first offers me a $3000 mattress (the most expensive option at the store, and that I didn't buy) instead of trying to offer me more affordable options, which already gave me the wrong impression. When I go to make a payment for the items I did purchase, he promises me a huge discount, which later after looking at my receipt, he added all of the "discount" back into the furniture protection plan price, so there really was no discount. He never offered me a delivery only option (which is free), but instead automatically added a $150 "white glove installation fee" which I didn't need. All of this was purchased on the 4th of July, while their website was running a sale. I was never offered a 4th of July discount at the store, so my purchase ended up being more expensive than what it would have been if I just made the purchase online. And then, it gets better! I'm promised a delivery date at the time of the purchase, I call to confirm it, and the customer representative promises me they will deliver it on the same day that we had previously agreed on. And now, 2 days before my delivery date, 2/3 of my items are on back order and don't exist! How fun is that? Customers beware of the sketchy and dishonest sales practices at Ashley Furniture. You have lost another customer. The location I went to the second time is the store located in Spring, TX.

    Don't buy furniture from here. The issues happened within a year of owning the couches. they'll sell you warranties that the store and the warranty service (guardsman) will tell you that it's not covered especially leather couches. And there warranty service, is absolutely terrible to deal with and there your submittal process is absurd for today's technology. The customer service from the store and also from their warranty service is terrible. I'll 10/10 would never buy from here again. They wouldn't even refund the warranty service even though they can do nothing. Tell me the pictures below aren't from a manufacturer's defect it's all tearing and spreading from the seem.

Laurel helped point us in the right direction because we weren't sure of the firmness we desired and the material of the mattress that we would fall in love with. We called in Sunday evening 1/7/24 asking if they had some in stock and the price, the sales person told me they had them in stock and they were $99. I couldn't make it over there before they closed, so I went after work on Monday 1/8/24. I didn't inform the Sales rep (probably different rep) there I called in yesterday. He asks how he can help, and I ask for a basic metal frame. He shows them to me and I grab a frame and carry it to the counter. He types in all my information to ring up the sale but now the price is $130, despite the fact there is a bed frame display behind the counter saying $119 is the most expensive basic metal bed frame they have. When I pointed this out I was informed this is a "newer improved frame" than the old display. The rep then informed me that he could order the $99 older model from their warehouse, but I would have to come back Wednesday. Now I could have waited, it's a small sale and there's probably little to no commission, and I know it's only $30, but don't try and pad your sales numbers using my wallet. I went to the competition across the parking lot and they happily sold me their fanciest basic metal frame.

    Absolutely unacceptable experience at the Mattress Firm on Coburg Road in Eugene…read more We placed an order totaling $500 for two pillows that required delivery. Before they arrived, our family received pillows as a Christmas gift and ended up loving those. When the Mattress Firm pillows were delivered, we never opened the box. Within a few weeks of purchase, I returned to the store to request a refund. Despite the pillows being unopened, unused, and brand new, the store refused to take them back. What made this experience significantly worse was the behavior of the store manager. She was rude, dismissive, and completely indifferent to the financial impact this had on our family. She refused to be helpful in any way, would not allow me to speak with anyone else or escalate the issue, and essentially shut the conversation down in a hostile manner. Being treated with this level of disrespect while being denied a refund for $500 of unopened merchandise is outrageous. There was no empathy, no customer service, and no professionalism shown. I strongly advise anyone considering shopping at this location to be extremely cautious and to get return policies in writing. Based on this experience, I will never shop here again.

A person with dementia or some other impairment, or even accidentally, would end up on the floor. The bed would simply dump them. What if they could not get up? This should have been pointed out to us at the point of purchase. Also, a person who needed to sleep in a heads up reclining position would be on a downward slant, which would be uncomfortable and untenable. You couldn't stay there. You would continue to slide downward. When I called the store, the salesperson said I had to pay 250.00, to return the bed. I think this is unfair. The bed is unsafe. He would not give me a supervisor's name or number and says that there is no one in a supervisory capacity he would give me a name or number to. This is wrong!

    My proverbial hat is off to Jenny and the other fine folks at The Mattress Company near Valley…read moreRiver Center in Eugene. I have rarely received better customer service than my recent interaction with them. A bit over three years ago, my partner bought a motorized adjustable frame and mattress. Three days ago, it stopped going up and down. Unfortunately we could not find ANY information, not the purchase date, not the method of payment, and most importantly, as it turned out, no operation manual either. We couldn't even remember the name of the store (although we did recall the location). So, after a false start, we were able to contact the store, who still had the record of our purchase, and was kind enough to email us a copy. I contacted the service company and filled out a lengthy online questionnaire and uploaded it. Turns out the warranty had expired earlier this year in January. So, we called the store again. The gentleman I spoke with suggested I change the batteries in the remote. I questioned this as the remote did light up and appeared to be functional, but he explained that sometimes that will happen but with weak batteries it won't transmit properly. Good to know. So, I changed the batteries. Then the fun truly began. Without the owners manual, what do I do to pair the remote with the bed? I know, I will search for the answer on line. Instead of an answer, I got TWO answers. By this time, the warranty company had received my info but denied our claim since it was out of warranty. The gentleman I spoke with told me how to pair the remote. I followed his directions and it continued to not work at all. So, I phoned the store again. Everyone I spoke with was pretty certain the remote was to blame and not the motor mechanism. So, we ordered another remote. Jenny went out of her way to make sure the remote was obtained from the warehouse the very same day, and so I went there to pick it up, but had the presence of mind to bring the old, presumably bad remote with me. When I arrived at the store, they were expecting me and Jenny had the new remote all ready to go. I asked if they would please show me how to pair the remote since I had been given two conflicting methods. Well, it turned out there was a THIRD method of pairing. By this time, you are probably ahead of me. Sure enough, after we tried pairing the new remote, I had to try the third method of pairing on my old remote. Sure enough, the third method worked, and I didn't have to buy the new remote after all. Jenny and the other two men were almost as happy as I was that I ended up not having to buy anything at all. BUT Jenny did say that, when I got home, if it still didn't work, they would make sure their tech would come out the same day, at a trip charge of just $30, to make sure everything was okay! Well, further assistance wasn't necessary. When I got home, I tried the same pairing method that worked at the store, and sure enough, it worked just fine, saving my partner and I LOTS of money. Jenny and her associates were more concerned with making sure I was taken care of instead of just trying to make a sale, which they easily could have done. I told them I was sorry they had to make a special trip to the warehous to get the new remote, now unnecessary, but they assured me it was no problem. It's been a really long time since I had such excellent customer service when no money exchanged hands. Needless to say, The Mattress Company has more than earned our repeat business, and my partner and I will certainly tell everyone we know that if they are in need of a new mattress or frame, that there was only one place in town that they needed to go.
