We ordered a coffee table from them that had to be special ordered. We've had it less than two…read moremonths and noticed that the molding on the side of it was peeling away, so we attempted to file a warranty claim. First of all, you can only make claims via a web form, which we did, and included a picture of the issue. They stated they take up to 48 hours to reply, and they pretty much did that to the minute. They basically accused us of physically damaging it, mind you that was off a single picture we sent, and then informed us we would have to pay for the repair. Didn't offer to send anybody to check it out, or even offered to allow us to take her to the store for an assessment, they basically just tried to put the blame on us, when we did nothing to cause the damage. I've used other stores such as Bob's discount furniture, and when we had a warranty issue, they sent someone to our house, to not only verify the issue, but also make the repair. I could've purchased this table elsewhere, and based on this, I will in the future because they refused to stand behind the products they sell.

The store itself has an odd and musty smell. My partner and I also saw a lot of stains on the carpet, and it overall left a very unclean impression of the store. Not only that, I have discovered 3 bug bites in a row on my arm, which may indicate they have bed bugs living in their show furniture. I'm hoping it's not bed bugs and that they did not hitch a ride home with me :( We were helped immediately as soon as we walked in because we were the only customers there on a weekend. What a huge contrast to how busy it was at the furniture store we stopped by before this one! We were told some helpful things, but after we were promised to be left alone to look around, we were approached a few more times again. It felt rather awkward. Overall, it's really hard for me to recommend Mega Furniture to anyone unless you have a very specific style you're looking for because they do have some furniture pieces that are not what's currently trending. I can at least respect a store that isn't afraid to carry more niche styles.

We ordered a sectional set that was customized because of the size…read moreof our living room. 1st issue was that when they scheduled delivery, they only delivered the corner piece. lol thankfully we held on to our older sofas because we almost gave them away in anticipation of the new set. Customer service said that it was not typical for the pieces to be delivered separately. Waited two more weeks for the other pieces to be delivered. Upon delivery, the pieces could not clip together because all the hardware was on the wrong side and my husband also noticed one of the dust covers on the bottom of the chaise was drooping. They sent out a technician 10 days later to fix the hardware and the dust cover. Two weeks later I'm on the floor playing with my puppy and I look and noticed that the dust cover is still drooping. I unlatch the chaise and then see the shoddy patchwork that was done when the technician came and the technician never even mentioned it would need to be replaced but instead acted like all was well. I'm highly disappointed in their customer service. Customer service said that their technician is a 3rd party but yet drive their van with their company brand so I'm guessing what kind of service is provided when you go to use the "warranty service" which I opted out of. The furniture is beautiful but all the in-between has really caused me to not fully enjoy Mor Furniture and their service. I've never had this experience when buying new furniture, this is our first time buying furniture from Mor furniture. For $4500+ you would think that the service would be better. Beware and inspect EVERYTHING

I had recently ordered a Svante media stand and it came damaged - with two big cracks in the bottom…read moreboard. To get the media stand exchanged, I have to first work with their 3rd party vendor and based on the vendor's assessment the next steps will be decided. Basically, they are leaving me (the customer) in limbo. Though I had ordered the media stand from their Mesa store, I had to go all the way up to their warehouse in Phoenix (an hour's drive from my home) to pick up the media stand. They surely know how to make things more difficult for their customers! A 'good' store would make things easier and not difficult for the customer. Also, a month ago, I had ordered a Quintin nightstand online, paid for it and everything. A week later, I get a call from them saying that they are out of the nightstands! Overall, I am really disappointed with their customer service. Damaged furniture out-of-the-box is another big concern. No more shopping at Scandinavian Designs for me!! Future customers: Do check your furniture thoroughly for any damage prior to pick up and/or after delivery!!
