Can't say enough great things about our experience from the time we walked in the store through the delivery process. Jasmine was great! She was so knowledgeable and patient as we walked through the store about 10 times with our toddler. She knew this was a big purchase for us and wanted to make sure we were loving every piece we got. She was so detailed in describing the pieces and the process of ordering and delivery. The delivery only took three days and we are so happy with our new items. Dealing with Ashley has been the worst experience of my life. We purchased 3 beds, side tables and lamps 3 months before. Bottomline, today I cancelled my order because even with 3 redeliveries they are unable to ship undamaged brand new furniture to us and additionally ashley still has not fixed the damaged wall when attempting to take furniture to upstair in my house. 1st scheduled delivery - Suppose to come between 1-4, they showed up at 6.45, almost dark, only 2 guys came who looked tremendously tired. I immediately felt, they dont even have energy to put furniture in my house. They started taking bed upstair and on 1st headboard itself they damaged the wall. Later, I found one of the furnitures was dirty and damaged. I refused the service. They reported the damage to someone in ashley delivery and I reported it to folsom store 2nd delivery - I requested to come on time and have delivery guys put something on shoes because we just had carpet cleaned and my daughter get allergies immediately. Guys came on time but nothing on shoes. We inspected furniture outside of house and again found it was damaged. We refused the delivery again. 3rd delivery- Reminded them about having delivery guys to put something on shoes. Again the furniture was damaged, and they also ignored request to wrap shoes so that carpet does not get dirty. We were promised no issues this time but again ashley failed to deliver the promise. The delivery guys this time were very rude. While I was talking on phone to ashley delivery office about bad furniture they simply left without having patience for waiting for our reply. On the top they lied to ashley by saying we asked them to leave. I have attached the photos of damaged wall and bad furniture (last delivery) My wall is still not fixed. I spent lot of time on phone, iterating the story again and again but still no progress to fix the damaged wall. Visited store 2 times, the employees dont seem to care other than giving me customer care number. They said there is nothing they can do and I have to contact corporate to get it fixed. Ashley basically ask 3rd party company to deliver the furniture but so far has failed to take the responsibility of working with them to fix my wall. Seriously 3 months to fix the damage and not able to deliver furniture in 3 deliveries ? How can ashley claim they are no 1 store ? I am very frustrated now, and me and my wife have spent a lot time to deal with all these. I will keep updating about getting my wall repaired. read more

I must be in the minority here, because I actually had a good experience with Ashley in Folsom. The person helping us, Mohammed, was friendly and patient. The sofa we ended up getting was something I'd actually had my eye on for months and then just recently purchased it last week. We were able to agree on a price which included the delivery fee and 5-year protection plan. It was very similar to the Cloud modular couch from Restoration Hardware, at a fraction of the price. I was happy with the purchase, the material, and the feel/look of it. Mohammed gave us tips about the care of our item, and what to do if we had problems. He was a pleasure to work with. Our experience was smooth and easy. We chose a delivery date, and I was updated throughout the entire process via text and phone calls up until the delivery day. The crew showed up as stated, unpacked it all, and discarded the packaging. Our item was not damaged and exactly what I ordered. It's solid and feels great. Looks better than the floor model. Seeing all the negative reviews on here is disappointing to be honest, but I personally had a good experience with my purchase from this location. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. By far the worst customer experience in my entire life. Every piece of furniture aside from taking months to come in will be damaged. Try getting it exchanged and they'll schedule a technician to come out and repair theirs shitty furniture. Mitch is the district manager, and he's useless and doesn't like that people contact him. He fired an associate because they think that she gave me his information. That's not true corporate office gave me his information. Raz will hangup the phone on you and go tell Andy you called her a bitch so she doesn't get into trouble. That's when Andy will call you to accuse you of disrespecting his staff "mate". We ordered furniture on memorial day weekend with the sale going on... Furniture was delivered next week and arrived damaged. The delivery guy took pictures and said customer service will be in touch to work on the replacement/fix/refund within 24-48 hrs. After 2 days, nobody called so I called in to get the ball rolling...was quoted 24-48 hrs again for a response. 1 week went by and nothing, so I called back and had a new case opened as the guy said it was done incorrectly on the 1st time. Again, waiting for a call back and nothing... It's going on 3 weeks now with no response and all of this time we have kept our cats locked in the room as to avoid them on the furniture since its going back to the store. We have company coming too for the 4th of July and now we have this hunk of damaged furniture in our room taking up space. Very upset with the lack of response at Ashley...we will not be shopping there again! read more

Omar at the Folsom CA is a horrible salesperson. I bought a bed for my 72 year old mother, was told the delivery and assembly was included. Still charged for delivery but when the guys got to my moms house, they told her she had 15 min to break down the old bed. He was so thirsty to make the sale he was making all kind of promises and now I have to hire a task rabbit to break down the old bed and set up the new one. They left it in her garage. We purchase a Dining Room set and a bedroom set so our Salesman gave us a $50 Giftcard that he said we can use in anything with minimum purchase of at least $50. We went in January 2023 to use it and Sarmed, the Store Manager said we have to wait until February to use it. We returned two weeks later in February and this time he said that we must spend at least $100 to use it but we told him that's not what he told us just two weeks prior nor dies it specify it in the gift card. He said the salesman Trenton(who was very nice and we have no complaint on him) made a mistake but it was Sarmed that told us. No integrity whatsoever, the Manager did not keep his word. We spent a lot of money on the Dining and bedroom set. Sadly, not a reputable company or Manager. read more

Ordered pieces on August 9 for delivery on 8/27. Received no call for delivery time so I called customer service. They were unable to find my order via the order number provided on all paperwork. Stated we had to deal with the store. Spent 3 hours calling the store and finally got through. Receptionist stated our delivery was rescheduled for 9/8 no communication. (note cleaned out a child's room for her new bed as a surprise) She stated she would email and inquire if anything was available for earlier. No return communication. Today receive a call asking if they could deliver a partial order the rest would be available possibly In the middle of October. I understand difficulties due to Covid but that does not cover the lack of communication or customer service. I will never buy from here again. read more

Nice furniture but when it comes to customer service, its the worse I ever experienced. If you have an issue with any of their furniture, be prepared to deal with a really long waiting time and unpleasant people in store, on line or by phone. Employees are clearly unsatisfying with their jobs. I bought a bedroom set for my daughter in store, and just noticed the dresser was damaged after delivered. I went to the store on same day, and heard from a rude customer service girl that I should have checked the furniture prior to sign the delivery and should have refused the delivery. She scheduled a technician visit for 15 days later and when the day came, they sent a message for me to confirm the visit frame time offered or call back to reschedule. I called back and after 30 minutes of waiting time, the girl who answered sounding like dying, completely tired and unhappy, gave me the option to reschedule for 7 days later, without option to choose the time frame. I understand we are facing delays because of the COVID-19 situation, but if companies do not improve their customer service, their waiting times and sites, their business will certainly in risk of closing. We have several pieces from Ashley in our home with generally good sales and services (accepting the traditional aggressive sales technique as a form of life), but this time it is ALL about the service (not in store) and ALL horrible. Actually, to be clear, NO SERVICE. Ordered two pieces to be delivered in box that I would put together. One piece was fine with zero issues. The other piece was broken in two places, missing a pre-attached connecting piece, and half (4 brackets out of 8) brackets screwed on incorrectly and unable to use. Calling immediately got no where. After 15 minutes on the "800" number it went to voicemail (left message). Called the store and waited for 30 minutes to nothing. Online message chat, waited for an hour, nothing. Sent email - returned email stated that they discounted the use of email response to "focus on customer service" amid COVID...??? I called again to the store and left message. They said 48-96 hour wait time for response...still waiting. I looked at this HUGE mess on my floor. 165 pounds of pieces in this 6 foot cabinet - what do I do. If I touch it will they reject the return? I am handy, do I try to fix it? I had to try because this was a flippin mess. I ran to the store and got some Gorilla Wood Glue, found some small tack nails in my supply grabbed my tools and went to work fix and then put together my $600 broken Ashley cabinet. That was Saturday, May 30, 2020. Today is Saturday, June 6 and still NO REPLY! No service. No apology... Cutting up my Ashley card. Unacceptable. read more

This complaint is really about customer services d delivery for the Folsom location. We ordered two bed sets, three nightstands, their largest sectional with oversized ottoman, a " TV stand"/ buffet and other decor items in January for February delivery. Delivery 1: everything but the buffet was delivered. However, they almost didn't leave the main portion of the sectional until they realized it was not put together correctly and my husband pushed for them to check their truck again. They dented my daughters door, dented our bed, left black marks on the wall. ( told they will reschedule the buffet) Delivery 2: set the day aside for delivery and they never show up or contact us Delivery 3: set the day aside and they never show up or contact us Delivery 4 ( now we're in March) the manager of the store had them deliver to the store for us to pick up. After spending over $100. In gas for the trip down to the store, our TV Stand/ Buffet is damaged and the doors can't even close right. The item was left there and never in our possession. March - April: we have been told my customer service on Facebook, at the call center and the manager of the store that they will deliver our buffet and make a deal on another item to make up for it. Now, in May! We are told that they received our request to exchange item and it is denied!!!! What is going on ASHLEY????? You have now stolen time off work x 3, money in gas and time to drive to you, and the money for the item. We still have not received our item, we have damage in our house, the repair on the bed looks like crap and your customer service sucks!! read more

First shout out to MIKE S.! You were awesome. Thanks. We have used this brand off and on for a long time - and always find something that works for our home. We aren't looking for millionaire high end NY style furniture - and it's not handmade quality if you are looking for a one of a kind piece - it just is functional stuff to suite our style needs for when we need it. We worked with Mike S. for the first time and he was very good to us. No pressure. Gave us a good deal, honored sales and discounts online. Gave us a sweet deal on two lovely lamps and chair too that was unexpected! He didn't bother us while we looked, promptly checked us out when we were ready. He helped us with a design perspective, looked at my home photos. Just really even, easy and helpful. I have been to other places where they bother you for a long time - interrupt - and then "go to calculate" and take a long time for anticipation. Don't purchase here. Store and sales people very nice. Bed was assembled but there were scratches. 3 failed attemps to bring out new bed have ended with no resulution. Was offered $ back and still have not seen the refund. Going on close to 6 weeks. Every call to customer service number is a minumum 1 hour wait. Customer service people are nice but what they say never comes to be true. BIG Disconnect between store and warehouse. read more

I am so frustrated because we ordered from Ashley furniture as my mom and I are both moving and making these decisions are supposed to be exciting but it's not. We told the sales associate we do not want the adjustable base board for the bed yet she still sold it to us and my mom. To the defense of the sale associate it was difficult to understand her but we trusted her as she was a kind person. However when calling to complain about this super expensive addition we did not want, they said "well why did you accept the order" because we did not know it was included because we did not ask for it and specifically said it was not what we wanted. That's why. Super rude comment. Regardless it's been weeks now and I have had to call everyday and no movement has happened and my poor mom is frustrated living on retirement money that she hasn't gotten back. The salesman 'Mike' was excellent. The delivery date/time was met but there was a little confusion over the time 'window'. I got 2 different text messages with 2 different delivery 'time windows' so I had to call to find out which was correct. Finally got thru to someone that confirmed the window and the schedule was met. If I had taken time off work - this would have been an issue. But the original time window was met so all was well. Originally - I thought the items were not the same as the ones I 'tested' at the showroom. But - after reviewing the pictures on my cellphone that I took in the showroom; I found that I was mistaken. I signed for delivery on an iPad and could not get a copy of the 4-paragraph delivery contract. I can't get through on any phone numbers and the website 'virtual agent' is useless; pretty common nowadays. Customer support could be a little better. All companies are blaming it on Covid :) All-in-all I'd recommend to others. I'll be back. read more

I have bought a dining room table from Ashly several years ago and it's held up well. We needed some new furniture and I went to several stores not liking anything but I found many pieces I liked at Ashley. The purchase was easy and we scheduled delivery. The first delivery did not go well. The men that delivered told us our bed frame would not work when the sales guy(Mike)at Ashely said it would. I went back to Ashley and they told me the installer was wrong and were very apologetic. They did everything they could to right the mistake and make up for our inconvenience. They rescheduled delivery and now we love all our new furniture. The delivery mishap was unfortunate but it was not their fault and they made it right. Pushy on sales. We went in to look at mattresses, and the salesperson started by pointing at a 1/3 of the room and saying, "those are cheap and won't last more than a few years. You shouldn't buy them"...little did he know those were the only mattresses in our price range. He took us to what might have been the most expensive mattress in the room next ($8,000 for mattress and box spring), and when we said we could not afford it, he kept pushing how the monthly financed price of $100 was not hard to cover. After seeing the cheapest mattress was still pushing $2500 (and we should not buy), we went elsewhere and found a quality mattress. We won't be returning for any product in the future. read more

I ordered a desk for my daughters room and the following occurred: 1. It was delivered with defects- 2. Quality control was not performed 3. I had to wait 48 hours before I could call and find a new desk 4. When I called they could not locate the returned desk therefore I had to wait and follow up to more additional days 5. Two weeks later I am still waiting for my desk and trying to get it rescheduled to be delivered 6. I picked a new date but for some reason they didn't get it on the truck to be delivered I have now picked another new date for delivery. Hopefully at some point I get the desk delivered read more

What a horrible experience! I went in the store and the process started very pleasant. I was changing my toddlers crib to a full size bed and simply needed a bed frame to do it. The salesperson rang it up and explained the hardware would come with it. A week later the item hadn't arrived and I decided to call. I called dozens of times because it is so hard to get a hold of them. After finally getting transferred to the store, they shipped the item. It was the wrong item. I'm trying to get a hold of them, after a 20 minute hold, I was transferred to the store and after 30 seconds, the phone was disconnected and I had to start the process all over again. Getting a hold of them through the phone is an absolute nightmare. They just told me they don't allow refunds. read more

I love Ashley furniture! Been a fan since 2008. Great quality and lasts for years! My daughter and I went there today to get a new sectional couch. The person that met us at the door tried to help us, but we decided to look around for a bit because what we wanted was not available at the store. After looking, we decided on a couch and let the sales rep know we were ready for her assistance. She never followed us and we had to find someone else to help us. I was met with Sarmed, Sales Manager, and he immediately asked Yara to assist us. He was very charming, professional and made sure our needs were met. Yara is amazing. We kept making changes and she was so patient and helpful. Answered our questions and made sure we were happy. Gada, Financial Manger (I'm guessing), is superb at her job, efficient at her job and had a great sense of humor!! Thank you Sarmed, Yada and Gada for all your help! Do not buy from Ashley Furniture! We paid an additional $200 for the warranty. After a year, a seam is bursting so we attempted to file a claim and turns out a burst seam isn't covered. SO, after further research we found out we could terminate our warranty and recoup some of the $200 (it's prorated). We then call Ashley to cancel and after FINALLY getting through to someone they say we have to call the warranty provider. SO after finally getting through to someone at the warranty place they tell us we have to call Ashley. We did this back and forth crap for 2 weeks and gave up. Which is exactly what they want. Such a scam. It's disappointing companies are allowed to still operate like this. read more

I finally got my table legs. If I had not call the branch where I bought it, they wouldn't have send them....thats just terrible customer service. The reason I gave this place an extra star is for sending me the correct table legs and for Lisa reaching out to me. At least someone from this company ACTUALLY cares. Now, would I buy again from them? MAYBE. I have been finding good furniture deals at Costco lately so....we'll see. Based on my experience with them, would I recommend them? Probably not. i bought bar stools. one stool was defected. the delivery man refused to return it per agreement. i had not heard from the store long long wait times, i got though to coustomer service. the rep. was very rude. she told me i was scheduled for aug. 14th. i have not heard anything from the store nor i been able to confirm the time or date again. horrible, nice when you buy. i also saw one of the same stools hey said was $250. at rosses on sale for $40.00 . ouch!i read more

I wanted to say how extremely disappointed I am with Ashley. My girlfriend and I recently moved into a new apartment and we had heard that Ashley was a great place to get quality furniture. So, we decided to go see what we could find. We went to the Ashley Homestore in Folsom, CA. We were told that we could get financing for up to 3 years with no interest. We even discussed it with our salesman and a manager to make sure it could be for 3 years. After going through the process of getting approved, we spent several hours looking at furniture and deciding what we wanted. AFTER spending hours looking at and choosing furniture, only then were we then told that we didn't qualify for the 3 years, but only 6 months to a year. Which we couldn't afford. We ended up leaving that day without buying anything. Which was EXTREMELY frustrating. We came back later with my dad who helped us qualify for the 3 years. We had the furniture delivered to our apartment and everything looked fine, so we signed for it. The next day we were able to arrange everything the way we wanted it, but realized the coffee table was too large for our space. We called the store to see if we could do an even exchange for a smaller table, but we were told that once it leaves the store and/or is signed for, it's now used and we can't return it. They said flat out they, "do not accept returns." A store manager suggested we sell it on Craigslist and then they would give us a deal on another table. SERIOUSLY? That's your suggestion? We didn't even have the table for a day and we we told that we couldn't return it. I am appalled that a company as large as Ashley would condone behavior like that from a manager. I then emailed customer service via the website to see if there was anything else we could do and I never heard anything back from them... This whole process has been less than enjoyable and, needless to say, we will not be shopping at Ashley in the future. read more

Don't purchase from the store anything! We spend $2500 on small furnitures from the store without looking at the prices online. Recently I got curious about the price and I checked it online. And wow!! Everything was half price online than the store! ( see for yourself in the pictures) They swore that nothing can beat the price and they lied. Check for the prices before purchasing anything. Another problem with this store is that 99% of employees/sales people are rude and unprofessional. They angry at themselves and each other. And of course, the shipment will take forever. read more
