They delivered our two L-shaped sofas today, and they were on time. We even had a text from them to track the order! They assembled the sofas in our driveway and carefully moved them into position. I purchased a bedroom set in early June. Delivery was to take place on the 17th of July, that never happened. I was told that due to Covid all shipments were delayed. I excepted that. So I was then told that Items would be delivered on July 29th. The day before on the 28th I received a call from Ashley's verifying delivery address and to confirm delivery appointment for the 29th between 10:45 and 2:45pm. Well I waited until 6pm that evening still no delivery, no call and no text. I called customer service. After being on hold for an hour and a half I was hung up on. I called back next day after being on hold for 45 mins an agent put me on hold as if she was researching my order, my call was put back into queue and eventually disconnected. I called the store I purchased the bedroom set from which was in Dublin, Ca. I spoke with a Manager named Sarah she said she would do some research and put me on hold. She later returned and stated that she was able to contact the warehouse and assured me that all items would be delivered on Aug 12. She gave me her contact number and ask me to contact her a day b4 to make sure everything will be in order for delivery. Well, I called/texted her the day b4, no answer and the day of delivery on the 12th, still no answer and no call back. When I called the store she refuse to speak with me stating that she was in a meeting. I decided to cancel entire order due to the unprofessional treatment I'd been receiving. To this day I have not heard back from not only Sarah but from Ashley's Supervisor/Management. I lost count of how many times I was hung up on. I understand there's a pandemic we all are dealing with, never should the levels of customer service be at an all time low. read more

Please read all of these reviews. They are the truth!!! This is the most awful furniture store I have ever been to. Our dining room table was delivered on Sunday. We noticed right away that the table had a huge dent in it, it looked like it got hit by a tire iron. The delivery man told us to keep it, he said don't worry about it. The bench seat looked like it had a bad repair job on it. Javier said the tech would look at it to see if he could repair the two items. If not we would get a new table. We made the mistake by trusting the delivery man. We should have told him to take it back at that moment. Don't fall for the BS. Coleiah the manager from the corporate office said, that we had to keep it since we signed for it. I just would like a new table and bench. No way will they send us a different table. The enjoyment of having a new dining room table from Ashley furniture has now become our nightmare. Terrible customer service. The soonest the tech can come out is July 10th. What kind of company is this. I will be sure to Facebook all of my friend and family to never purchase from this company. They should have no stars!!!! read more

Ended up buying from Ashely online and got a better deal. We initially had a great first store visit experience but the sales associate became quite pushy and annoying (on text) by following up almost every day. Nevertheless, after a week and some research, we went back to the store a second time with the full intent to purchase a bedroom furniture and looked for that particular sales associate so that: 1) he can get credit for the business because he did provide a lot of information the first time we went to the store, and 2) our city can benefit from the sales taxes. This time however, the sales associate was rude and arrogant after we asked for the Ashley online price and financing deal (which was lower than the store price). He even went so far as to tell us that they have overhead cost at the store, etc. and we can't get everything we want. What??? It's the same store brand! So just like that, Ashely Dublin and this sales associate lost a $3,000 sale and we managed to get an 18 month no interest financing deal online on a total cost that was at least 10% lower than the in- store "sale" price. This is why a lot of folks prefer online shopping - no stress from having to deal with potentially rude and unhelpful sales people. read more

BUYER BEWARE! If I could give a NO- STAR review I would. The Dublin CA store is a real problem! While they have nice furniture, they have zero customer service sense. They are completely unorganized and make mistakes every step of the way on your purchase. Make sure you READ YOUR RECEIPT! They put another customers receipt (and credit card info) on top of my receipt. Subsequently they couldn't find my receipt when it came time to deliver my furniture, so no delivery was made and The store did not tell me, so I waited all day in vain. We straightened that out, but Then we had to wait nearly two MORE weeks for our furniture. The day finally came and I waited all day...but they they delivered the WRONG model furniture. When we finally straightened that out they reordered our correct furniture set, however we had to wait another 10 days because we were no longer first on the delivery truck schedule. No effort was made to assure a quicker delivery. Then FINALLY our furniture arrived (another day of waiting)... HOWEVER... there was no order to pick up the original wrong furniture that was sitting in my living room. No amount of speaking to dispatch or the managers could get them to pick up the erroneous furniture. So we had to REFUSE DELIVERY of our correct furniture because we had no room for it with the previous set there. We once again drove down to the store to straighten things out (you get nowhere over the phone), but there were so many issues over this 4 week period...(times,dates,non-deliveries, endless phone calls, visits to the store to resolve the problem), that we decided to just get a refund and shop elsewhere. I can't even give this a one star. I will never go back to the store or shop from this company EVER again. Not only Is their no refund policy vague, they can't even adhere to their own contract. They are impossible to get ahold of and I never confirmed my delivery. Their delivery service delivered to my 17-year-old daughter when their contract strictly prohibits delivering to anybody under the age of 18 years old. I have spent hours trying to resolve this with David from the Dublin store, customer service, and the delivery outfit. Everybody seems to point the fingers at everybody else and no one can accept responsibility. I can't see how this company has ever lasted. I will get my refund whether I have to hire an attorney or stand in front of their store and sending people down to American Furnishings down the street. It is too bad this company can't take responsibility for their actions and take care of their customers. They just lost a customer who likes to share her experience across the world. read more

Ashley Furniture is a perfect example of bad customer service. We purchase our furniture in the Dublin, CA store. When I went online to check measurements, I discovered that the online prices were a LOT lower. So, I figured this would be easy, I would just call and ask for a price adjustment. First, they insisted that I come in person. I told them it was inconvenient and if I could speak to the store manager. I was put on hold for 30 minutes and finally hung up. I then left two messages for the store manager who did not call me back. I then called and said I would cancel the order if they did not make the price adjustment over the phone. Then they agreed to make the price adjustment though it would require a verification call from their home office. This call was supposed to come in 1-2 days and with 10 days counting, there has still been no call. I called to follow-up and they said I was in the queue. So today, I called up to cancel the order as the contract says you can cancel for any reason for 30 days after purchase. I was told they could only cancel it if I came to the store in person for "fraud protection". I told them that again, it was not possible for to me to get to the store and that they were the ones committing fraud. The person refused to take a message or cancel the order. This is a seriously crooked company - do not do business with them. read more

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. The store manager David is no help. Please save yourself the headache and do not purchase anything from here. We spent about $2000 and had a set delivery date that was not met. I never recieved a call from the delivery service to either confirm the delivery or to reschedule it. I was told they would arrive from 12 to 7. And they never did. When I called to see what happened they only had 1 piece of the set of sofas that I had purchased. I was told by David that they did not ship the set together because they did not have the other one arrive and that is why it was not deliver it. There was no call made to let the customer know. I wait ever for over 2 weeks for the refund and was told by David that they would process it in 2 to 3 days and when I asked of I had to call back or anything he said no I should see it in my statement. Later i get a call and it turns out returns are made from a different number and location. David is the store manager he needs to be more informed/and or retrained on their refund policies so he can correctly answer customer questions and issues. Their delivery team needs to be retrained to call customers and let them know that their scheduled delivery will NOT be delivered as they had scheduled. read more

DO NOT shop at this store. Highly recommend going anywhere but here. The customer service, quality of product, and management is the most disappointing I've ever experienced in my life. My husband and I were incredibly excited to purchase a large sectional sofa for our home and we paid a decent penny for it too. The sales people did a great job selling us on the quality and easy maintenance of the sofa but it was a huge lie. Fast forward only 7 MONTHS, and almost every single seam is busting on the bottom cushions. We've collectively called to speak to the store manager of the Dublin location at least 8 times and are told each time he will call us back in "1 hour when he gets out of a meeting" lies again. We haven't received a single call back. Even worse, we paid for an added warranty as we expected to have this sofa for years to come and the warranty doesn't cover the seams because it's a manufacturing issue that must be covered by the store we purchased the sofa from. Seems like it's all a sick joke and we wish we could go back in time and never step foot in Ashley HomeStore. read more

UPDATE: Today is July 28 2019. Ashley Furniture called multiple times yesterday to confirm the delivery of my dinning table and chairs between 3pm and 7pm today. They also sent multiple text messages and requested me to confirm that I would be present to receive the items and I did. They called early this morning to confirm delivery too. I cancelled going to work to avoid missing them when they arrive. Just 30 minutes ago, someone called me from Ashley Furniture to inform me that my delivery has been cancelled-again! She said they have just realized that they have a back up of orders!! Can you imagine that? A company that has called my phone multiple times since yesterday to confirm delivery is telling me that they have just realized that they have a backup! No word about the likelihood of my getting my table. Meanwhile, they are owing me a refund originally and no one is talking about paying back money they owe me. I have just got off the phone with Janet from the Dublin office. She seemed really nice on the phone and promised to address the issue and get back to me. I will just wait. read more

Purchasing our sectional was a smooth process. I was given a delivery date told I must reply back to the text in order for the deliver to take place. I did that and then was given a time frame of 12-3. They showed up at my house at 10 am and called me so my husband had to rush home. While he was heading home they kept calling me and were rude about having to wait 20 minutes. The Ottoman was scheduled for delivery at another date. I received the text and replied back and was given a time window for delivery. Then someone called me from Ashley and I was unable to answer so they dropped me from the delivery the next day. When I called to ask what happened they said I didn't respond to the call. I said I wasn't told someone would call me it was by text. I called to speak to the manager, he was out to lunch, he never returned my call. My ottoman was given a new delivery date for another week out between 8-12. At 12:30 they called to say the truck broke down and it would be delivered the next day. I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY OTTOMAN. This is the worst customer service/delivery service ever. I will not be referring them to anyone and I will not purchase from them again. SO RIDICULOUS! read more

Never buy from Ashley furniture, just have been hearing horror stories after buying from them and they are alllllll TRUE!!!! Worst service ever!!!! Scheduled delivery for 9/14 never showed up!!! Never called to say they weren't showing!! When called they then proceed to say won't be in till NOVEMBER after saying it will be all there 9/14!!!! Have no furniture to sit on in our house now. Talked with all day on Sunday and said they were delivering today Monday and would take care of it, but never receive confirmation today so then call and say we are not on the schedule!!!! They are TERRIBLE. Managers never want to come to the phone because it seems they must be tired of always having to deal with this kind of stuff!!! NEVER buy from them if if you value your time money and sanity!!!!! That's just part of it when they were coming to deliver we contacted the driver after the window for delivery had closed and the person then told my wife something very vulgar after her asking nicely of when the delivery could be expected then hung up. I am not surprised at all to see a lot of negative/horrible reviews of this store! My son and I both needed several pieces of furniture and had planned to make a purchase at that time. We had a very knowledgeable and professional salesman, Wayne, and were very happy with our experience with him. The manager and customer service is another matter. I spotted a sale on a coffee table and 2 end tables that would work for a guest suite I have. We pointed them out and Wayne marked the set with a sold sign so that we could continue shopping. We continued to shop and decided to think about our additional purchases until the next day. I went to the sales counter to pay for my table set, which had a sticker that delivery was not available and they had to be picked up within 48 hours, which was not a problem, we were in a pickup truck. However the clerk was not able to write up the order because the computer indicated that the table set was already sold. After Wayne and I walked throughout the store, we noticed that there was one additional set of identical tables. After spending lots of time trying to figure out the problem, the store manager told me that he was not able to sell the table set to me because it was not listed as inventory in the computer. He was not willing to budge and insisted there was nothing that he could do. Apparently it did not matter that just 30 minutes previously, our salesman had marked the set sold, and the set still existed and was on the floor. The store manager just refused to sell it to me. The entire experience was time consuming, frustrating and ridiculous. Don't waste your time shopping at that store. We walked out without the tables, and without a sale of approximately $2,500 that my son had planned to purchase there. read more

They had some decent collection of furniture, but are very bad in managing their inventory. We purchased a set of sofas, a 3 seater and a loveseat. They promised to deliver the sofas in approximately 6 weeks. But then they later called and said they will not be able to deliver for further 3 weeks. I was still patient and this point and said ok. They later called and scheduled the delivery. I was finally hoping to have the sofa ready and being delivered. But they called in another 2 days, and said they will make a partial delivery and said the loveseat will be delivered in another 3 more weeks. I was patient all this while and now the scheduled delivery time for the partial delivery has passed and still haven't received the first sofa. This is so frustrating. Now it's been more than 2 months and still have no clue on when I will get the sofa. Please do not purchase at Ashley's home store, unless you are willing to wait forever..! read more
