Hate this place. Customer service is so bad and non existent. Soon as u walk in everyone who works here is on there phone. One worker greeted us while she was on her phone and walked pass. We were interested in a couch but decided to pass on it since there was 10 employees around but not one approached. LITERALLY NOT ONE PERSON Talked to any customers inside the store even one family looked so confused and walked away with us. Waste of money. Beautiful showroom with large selection. We were leery after seeing so many bad reviews, but glad that we went. Sales team was knowledgeable and helpful. They did pressure at the end for their protection plan which I refused. We got home after our purchase got on their website to look at dimensions and we noticed online prices were noticeably less. I called and they matched the online price no problem. It does not make sense that they operate like that but at least made it right. We had great communication about delivery and delivery men were great, gave them a nice tip. We love our new living room set. read more

Sweet was very professional, the delivery team kept me informed and the delivery guys were great even tipped them. Only bad thing the recliner I purchased sits nothing like the store chair. My 5 star rating is due to the excellent customer service that my Mom and I received today from David and Abby. Our sole purpose of visiting the store today was to return a recliner that we had purchased for my Grandmother on 05/03 that, unfortunately, did not work out for her. Because Ashley does not issue refunds once the product has been delivered, we were left with the choice of exchanging it with something else in the store. Initially, we were not too thrilled about that option. But, we took a look around the store anyway, not knowing where to begin. David checked in on us from time to time and recommended other options on chairs that might be comfortable for my 94 year old Grandmother with her needs in mind, which was so kind and compassionate of him. After a while, he had some conference calls to take, so he sent Abby over to check on us and she was absolutely wonderful and patient with us as we were totally undecided on what we wanted. We finally decided on a living room set that had a promotion going on that included a 14pc sectional w/accent pillows, a coffee table, two end tables, 2 table lamps, 5 accessories, an area rug and a throw. Abby explained to us that we did not necessarily have to stick with the tables, area rug, lamps and accessories that were on display with the couch that we had wanted and she walked us around the store to show us different color/texture/design options that we could choose from. We did not feel rushed or pressured into making any impulsive decisions. Abby wanted to make sure that we were completely happy with the choices that we were making. David helped us along the way in the middle of his conference calls. Our shopping experience was really enjoyable and we were absolutely satisfied with our purchase. We will definitely be back for our dining room set after we take some measurements and have our living room set in place. Again, David and Abby provided excellent customer service, and are professional and friendly, and if I had the option to give them 10 stars, I would. They did not pressure us at any time and they payed attention to our wants and our needs and shared so many warm smiles with us and made us feel great about doing business with Ashley Home Furniture Store. They represent your company well and will keep your customers coming back and sharing stories like this to bring in even more customers to keep your business thriving. Worst customer service ever. They treat you like garbage after delivery. Refused to take back old mattress because there was no cover even though the sale guy didn't mention anything about it. Instead of training the sales people to be upfont they trained the staff to shame the customer so they will go away. Prepare to spend 1 hr a day if there was anything wrong with the delivery. If I had a way to give no stars at all, that is what I would do. Absolutely pathetic post purchase customer service. There is no way you can reach the Dublin store via phone as they don't answer, no matter what time of the day you try. Even their own customer service could not reach the store every time I tried and they asked me to go to the store to talk to the staff. Their excuse is they are extremely short staffed while I have personally walked in and seen staff around and phone ringing in the background. On a weekday morning, there is no way nobody has time to pick up the phone. We bought recliners and furniture for two bedrooms + protection plan for the recliner. Wayne was our sales guy. The store manager Anis gave us some discounts and told us they could give additional discounts if we purchased mattress too. We went back to purchase one mattress and he gave additional discount for King bed with a note that the additional discount for King bed will be taken away if we cancelled mattress. Fair! Btw, this was on 1/16/22 and we have yet not been refunded for this additional discount as of 1/28/22. On the day of scheduled delivery, nobody showed up even though we received back to back emails and texts to prepare to receive delivery, including the morning of scheduled delivery. Customer service could again not get through store number. Anis and Wayne eventually rescheduled delivery to another day. Wayne had told us recliners come unassembled so we would have no problems to get them in the room where we wanted them to be. Well, when the delivery guys came, recliners were assembled already and they could not fit them through the door and decided to take them away. Headboard for the King bed was not the one we had picked (even though we had Anis recheck multiple times). We tried reaching the store while the delivery guys were assembling beds but could not. Customer service tried for quite some time and eventually told us to keep the headboard for the time being and created a case for us indicating headboard needed to be replaced and delivery charges were to be waived. Our experience in trying to reach the store was so bad, we decided to cancel recliners and protection plan which was for recliners as we did not want to deal with calling for warranty in future. Since nobody picks the phone, I ended up going to the Dublin store personally but Anis & Wayne were not there and others who were there said they could not help. I asked them to call Anis. Anis called me right away and first told me he can cancel recliners but not protection plan ($599). I had to remind him protection plan was for recliners which were yet not delivered:). He first refused to waive delivery fee also but eventually agreed to 50%. After much back and forth, he confirmed via text he had cancelled recliners, protection plan and waived delivery fee and indicated a refund amount via text. Since then, I have asked him multiple times to provide updated invoice so I can see break up as I want to make sure he did not increase price back up for King bed where we got additional discount because we purchased mattress which we did not cancel. He refused to provide updated invoice which I find very very odd. Incorrect headboard will not be replaced for few months. It is a total mess and we are talking about few thousand $s of refund. So far refunds Anis processed on 1/16 and 1/22 are still pending and reluctance to provide updated invoice is frustrating. Anis is taking time off for few days and central customer service cannot help on this as they don't have access to updated invoice either. Even I go in the store, most likely nobody will be able to help like last time. Wayne has not bothered to call since then. I think his job was just to sell. It has been an exhausting experience. I am looking at filing a compliant as we have good amount of $s stuck and no updated invoice. read more

Would give them only one star if I didn't have such a first time great experience at this location. The old manager by the name of David was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond for all of my requests and searches. He and his staff really listened to the customers, got to know them, and built relationships. Under his management I would be a constant customer unfortunately I will never be a customer ever again. The management now is only looking for one thing and that one thing is commission. If you don't have a couple thousand dollars to spend every single time you were there they don't want anything to do with you. I have now tried to use gift cards and get certificates that I received from Ashley's and they won't give me the time of day. I have gone four times to try to use them and they won't honor them. After spending nearly $6,000 with Ashley's furniture I will never spend another cent of mine even if it is a gift certificate there . Save yourself the time, money, and humility because everyone and anyone deserves better than Ashley's and the management at the Dublin location has to offer. read more

Very disappointing service, delivery, etc. We ordered over 13,000 in furniture. It took over 2 hours to complete the transaction with multiple managers having to help out. Delivery delayed to three different delivery dates. First delivery missing four items. Second delivery delayed another two weeks. Still no delivery of the items. Months later. The items that were delivered have a terrible toxic smell still after two weeks. Stay away. read more

I wish I had read reviews before we purchased. The ordering worked fine. Delivery was fine. Quality of furniture, not fine. Customer service, can i rate lower than 1 star? Our side by side recliners broke. I tried several phone attempts to get thru to customer service all ending with no one answering and one hung up on me when i complained about the wait I've. Did i mention it was a 3 hour hold time!! I had to make an appointment at the store and demand a manager to get them to make a technician appointment. Finally get a tech out and he says he ordered parts, and to call customer service to schedule another appointment when parts arrive. Are you kidding me? They refused to make a follow up appointment. Now i have had parts for a week and have gone through the whole process as above and still havent made any progress. Even worse, 3 days ago, I got thru (OMG!) only to be met with a woman who says she was a trainee and didn't know how to make appointments but would have her manager call me back to schedule and then she disconnected before i could even say WTF!? Oh yeah, no call back ever. Now i think i will have to make a in store fake appointment to look at furniture to even schedule another appoint,ent. Trying to get a return and a hold of the store is a joke. I returned a bed frame because the delivery date was 2 days late and being pregnant I needed to get something else asap... my husband took the day off and waited for it, only for it to arrive 2 days late, in a beat up box (metal parts were spilling out) and in the middle of my driveway for anyone walking by to take. l went into the store to return it and was told my refund would take 7-10 days... Apparently, they have a store rep call to confirm the credit card the return will be placed back on? I've never heard of this as my credit card info is in my account at their store?? Anyway, a store rep left a message on my husband's phone and when he called back an hour later there was no answer. This was over 3 weeks ago. We've left about 8 voicemails since then and still no update on the return. Fed up, I went into the store and there were no notes in my file for a return... So basically, it's like I never returned it. I requested another copy of my return receipt 2 weeks ago in person and the associate said they needed the store manager to locate it, but she was out on vacation. This makes no sense because everything is listed in our accounts on their computer. I just spoke with the corporate office and they suggested I call the store... 30 minutes on hold and I gave up. Funny how when you walk into the store, there are about 4 sales associates sitting around waiting for customers to come in, but no one can seem to pick up the phone. Seems like I'm going to have to go into the store for a 4th time (!!!) to try and resolve the same issue... Remember I'm pregnant and they claim the safety of their customers are their number one priority, but they can't even pick of their phones and would rather have you come into the store for them to tell you they can't help you and redirect you to call a number that doesn't go through. Should have read the reviews before I purchased through them. I have another item coming in soon and will need to be home again to receive it/have them install it, but I'm sure this item will also be late and damaged too. read more

If you don't care about customer service this is the store for you. I purchased a nightstand and dresser. UPS delivered the nightstand....awesome and on time as promised. The dresser however was scheduled for 2 days later but had to be rescheduled because Ashley's delivery servic's truck broke down, no problem, we just rescheduled delivery for 2 days later but they never showed up and no call. I called and after holding on the line for an hour was told my furniture was not scheduled to be delivered. WHAT! Apparently my order was going to a totally different city miles and miles away. After another hour on the phone it finally got corrected but they couldn't deliver for another week. I was promised a $100.00 gift certificate for my inconvenience, it has never arrived. I was also promised a call from a manager who could offer a discount for my inconvenience....never happened. Don't know about you, but I will not be buying anything from Ashley Furniture again! read more

Bad experience from this store. If only i could give a negative score.The associates are really rude and doesn't know how to respect their clients. We ordered a couch and expected delivery after one and a half months. And when the date of delivery is already 2 days away, they told us that it's been push through for another 2 weeks due to our item is said to be back order considering its already been 6 weeks and yet still a back order?! And we already arranged our schedule just to receive the item. We tried to talk to an associate or even the manager but they just put us on hold and always saying that the manager is unavailable while the associate that we tried to talk to is so rude and doesn't know how to give proper customer service. Just imagine the frustration we had with them. And when we finally had the chance to talk to the manager after several holds on the phone she told us that they'll have it delivered the following week and as usual it didn't happened. And so we just end up cancelling our order and have a refund that we still are waiting as of now. So disappointing! read more

I would warn anyone thinking of buying furniture here to turn around and run away asap! Although the staff at the store is pleasant and helpful, the products and customer service are a disappointment. I purchased a sectional with ottoman, dining room table with sideboard and 5 bar stools. I understand that furniture has a break-in period but the sectional is hard as a rock and the fabric under the ottoman was ripped with exposed sharp staples. The dining room table and chairs came with damage on multiple pieces and every single bar stool and half the dining chairs wobble terribly. The delivery person talked me into not rejecting the items but instead submitting a technician ticket for someone to come out in a couple of days. Days passed, no one called. I called customer service and she told me I needed to contact the store but that is basically impossible. When you call the local number it goes to the general customer service. Several other attempts to contact someone resulted in an hour on hold just to be disconnected. Finally got through on the fifth try and someone advised me that a ticket had been started but was never scheduled. She scheduled the technician and said they would call 1-2 business days prior to confirm the time frame. Of course, no one called so I called this morning to follow up. She gave me a time frame that came and went and no one showed up or called. Now I need to start over! Ready to show up at the store and demand they pick every crappy piece of furniture up and give me my money back! read more

My 85 year old mother moved and needed a few pieces of new furniture, one of which was a bed with mattress, a kitchen table w/4 chairs, and a small sofa. We arranged for delivery to be on Aug 22. I called on Aug 16 to confirm delivery for the 22nd and was told all pieces were in the warehouse and would be delivered. On the 22nd the sofa, bed frame and 4 chairs arrived. NO MATTRESS, NO TABLETOP. I went into the Dublin store and spoke to Michael Paul who assured me that my elderly mother would get her get her mattress on Wednesday Aug 25. He could not tell me why the mattress and the table top weren't delivered. Today is Aug 25. There is still no mattress. I will never shop at Ashley Home Store again, especially the Dublin store. While I was there speaking to Michael Paul, he chastised another sales person for letting a couple walk out of the store without closing the sale. He said "tell them whatever they need to make it work." The sales people in this store DO NOT CARE about the customer, they only want to make a commission and will say whatever is necessary to make you happy in the moment. read more

Received the purchased item (TV/Entertainment Stand) on December 15th, after 5 minutes after the delivery people left, my wife notice damage on the furniture. We immediately contacted Ashley Furniture and notified them of the problem; we even sent them images of the damage. They informed us that they can not do an exchange without having someone come out and see if the furniture is repairable. We again informed them that we do not want a repaired item, we paid for a new product. They told us that they could not make that authorization without having someone come out and inspect the item. Reluctantly we had no choice but to wait until after Christmas (12/26) before they could come out; this impacted our holiday plans to host Christmas at our house, because we could not use or move this furniture that was in the main family room. On 12/26, we received notification that they would arrive between 7a-10a, but noone arrived; when we called, they said he was running late and would be there between 12n-4p. At 4pm we callled and was informed that the inspection was changed to Sunday 12/29; we wasted a whole day waiting for them to come out and now we had to wait longer for them to inspect the furniture before they can move forward on replacement. On 12/29, the gentleman arrived and confirmed that the furniture was repairable; so I drove down to Ashley's to discuss in person, what will be done to replace the item. I spoke with Terri, a manager at Ashley's, who said he would make things right. I informed him that I needed this replacement done before the 1/1/20, as we will be hosting guests & family at my house; Terri was hesitant about committing to that time frame as 12/30 would have already been booked and 12/31 was probably filled up as well. I again reluctantly had to agree to 1/2/20, but informed him that it would have to be in the morning, as we would be departing out of town that day, which he agreed would happen. Today 1/2/20, we did not received any notification of the time window for the delivery, so we call Ashley Customer Service; who informed us that there was no delivery scheduled for the delivery/pickup; and that the next available date would be 1/8/20. Again, another day wasted waiting for delivery that was never actually scheduled by Terri; we could have left early morning, to drive to southern California and not get stuck in traffic. read more

my mother, I and my cousin are here to shop for furniture for our entire house. We bought a 9 piece bedroom set, one sofa, one loveseat, and 2 sofa tables. The sale manager David and his associate Ariana are very helpful! they were very busy but always made sure that we felt welcomed, informed and supported. David offered a good price for all of our furnitures and was very flexible with our request. they were very accommodating and very attention to their customers. They helped my family design our perfect home down to the last detail. I work in customer service and have never exhibited such AMAZING customer relationship building. I went into this Ashley Store because the Yelp reviews were better than those of the store in Concord which was closer to me. I was looking to purchase a dresser to be used in my office/man cave. Abby assisted me as I was trying to decide which one of several I might purchase. I decided on the one in the Sommerford collection. I was pleased with the sales experience but was going to wait to rate them until the delivery was made since that seemed to be the problem area in the lower ratings. I bought the dresser on Monday (2/4) and it was delivered today (2/11) - the date I selected at the store. The delivering company communicated via text with me and was on time - they assembled the piece and carried it (down 12 stairs) into the office. The piece was in perfect shape and on time. All in all, it was a good experience from start to finish. read more

This is a fair warning to steer clear of this place at ALL COST, because once they get your money and you have ANY ISSUES at no fault of your own, all you will get is the run around..passed around back and forth to the wear house..and no resolution. I will make it clear that he is the only person that I had no issue with. Ashley Furniture in Dublin, found what we wanted great pricing, however the delivery has been a nightmare. They called several times to confirm, and it's all automated, if they leave a message and you call back they say because you didn't answer the phone they cancelled the delivery. We already confirmed the delivery when we purchased the products. Then when they finally delivered one item they forgot another item that was supposed to be delivered. Then they confirmed another date for the couch and we confirmed, waited all day, got rid of our current couch and then called asking where it was and they said it was backordered for 2 weeks - how could they confirm a delivery when the item was on backorder. Now we are expecting the couch to be delivered today so we will see what happens, again confirmed it after several automated calls. It just sucks that it's after the holiday's and I had no couch to sit on but we will see. Too many calls about the delivery and they never seemed to get it right.
