I went into this store and had a salesman immediately attach himself to my side! He walked me to the most expensive bedroom set without asking what I wanted. I kind of felt like he thought I was a helpless female that needed a man to tell me what to do....WRONG! Strong, confident, Irish, Russian red headed feminist... So I advised this gentleman of what I wanted and didn't want. He then took me to the cheapest made furniture at double the price of any of the other furniture stores within 10 miles of them. He kept suggesting that I take photos to show my husband. I texted my husband and told him to call me with "an emergency" just so I could get the heck out of there! I purchased a sofa/ love seat set from Ashley's furniture. Less than 5 months later the stitching started coming apart. I called the customer service department, and they informed me that I had one year warranty. When I requested the repair, they said it was a manufacturer defect and the warranty didn't cover it, but we're glad to suggest that I go with an outside vendor and have it repaired, but I would have to pay for it. When I insisted that I was still under the one year warranty, the rep I was talking to said that the warranty does not cover manufacturer defects. Long story short, their warranty is crap. read more

I want to give this place more than a 5 stars! I would like to leave a positive review for a sale's associate named Sara Bella and the manager Alfredo at an Ashley's furniture store located in Colton, California. As a customer, I shopped around and this was actually the 4th store I stopped at for a mattress. Now, you can probably understand or see the mood I was in. I was a little over it but want to make sure I have a good deal and pay for what I get. But I got more- two amazing people- Sara and Alfredo- were amazing!!! We walked in with our 1 and a half year old boy- you can only imagine what havoc this boy may have caused so I tried to go in and out fast. Sara is quick and with the help of the manager Alfredo- they were amazing! They went above and beyond to ensure that I walk out happy. I can truly appreciate people not doing it for the sales and money rather because I am human- they just want to make a customer happy. It's hard to find people like that these days. Worse experience ever on this store. They are so good at selling but the worse at helping people. Their costumer service is horrible at the store and on the phone. I went to buy a bed for my daughter and i chose to pick it up. It was a white bed really nice. The woman who helped me was really nice, everything was good but when i got home the de that they gave me was wrong. It was a brown bed with a drawer. I called and called the same day and no body answer. I called next day and they told me because i picked up i have to bring the bed back to the store for a exchange. Even if it wasn't my fault. That was their first straight‍ I did took the bed to the store and when to customer service they were so rude asking like 20 times if I was sure that the bed was the wrong one‍ I order a white one and that was a brown one and a totally different model. I told them if you don't believe me check the paper work and the boxes in my truck and see for your self. I was so frustrated already because they were treating me like of I was stupid. Finally they called the manager as the girl described "a told write guy" he came and he was telling me the same how do you know that your got the wrong bed. I was like Because i have eyes!!! Ayer like 15 minutes trying to convince him to go to my truck and check the boxes if he didn't believe me that they made a mistake he finally saw it and said you're right they gave you the wrong one. ‍ Now i was done with them so i ask for my money instead of an exchange, he got mad and ask me why, I said I just can't deal with you guys again, imagine if i have any other problem you will not gonna help me. I've been a long time customer at Ashley, and have never had problems until today. I went in yesterday to purchase a center living room table with 2 end tables and the sales guy told me I could pick them up the same day. Given the fact that I didn't have a truck I told him if I could pick them up tomorrow (which is today) and he said yes and that they opened at 11.am. I was there at 11am, and I was told I had to make an appointment. I told them I didn't live close by and if I could possibly get them. They told me no that I needed an appointment. I went inside and told them if there was an exception to pick up my furniture and they said no. They were rude so I asked for a refund, I'd think they'd want to work with me since I had paid in full, but they gave me a refund not caring of losing a sale. So, I was there today. I had my eye on a dining table 1 week prior, and decided to come back on Labor day weekend hoping the price would drop. It didn't. It actually went up but still the same price online. I bought the item anyway matching the price online. While waiting for the transaction to finish, another salesperson came up to me and asked if I needed help. I said "no, thanks." I did asked him why the table costs more when it's Labor day weekend? He said if I wanted a cheaper table, I should go to Big Lots. I said "what? I bought all my furnitures from this store!" Nothing against Big Lots, but I found that very insulting. We bought a set of couch's last month Sell person was great and helpful The downfall to here is the delivery and customer service department, first i was originally schedule for delivery April 28, when we purchased the set they where in stock and set for a delivery The week of the delivery they call me that one was back order and when we purchased them i made sure they where in stock to avoid this delay. Once they reschedule me for may 1, a day before i get a call that they have to reschedule me again Because due to some bs excuse of the warehouse so finally i got a date for may 3 They delivered the couch and love seat, but opening up the couch they sent over the wrong one They sent a black couch and we ordered grey Calling Ashley customer service explaining what happen. The lady still has the nerve to tell me why i didn't reject the delivery, if i knew this was gonna happen i would of and all the times they called me they never advised me to open them up and check for the correct color and model. Save yourself the heart ache and trouble. Waited and searched for a couch for 5 years. Finally pulled the trigger here at Ashleys. Nothing but issues. First product arrived damaged and wonky. I took the wonky furnity but the couch with damaged i refused. No accomodations were made for rectify. I asked them to leave the damaged goods and pick it up when the new comes for a equal replacement. They refused. I had already gotten rid of my old couch. My Husband has cancer, works from home and naps when he gets too tired. We also had an event the following day at our house. So now I have no seating. Then they schedule delivery for Saturday - ok fine. Next thing I know we get a phone call saying someone forgot someting and they will deliver next Tuesday. UH NOPE. I called the store - got a call center in india. Which was frustrating in itself, and I couldn't or wouldn't be connected. FINALLY go the store and asked for a Manager. I explained my issues to "Miss Theresa" (yes, she literally called herself Miss theresa) who really couldn't of cared less. Manager was told I would be called before closing. Was never called. I opened a huge credit line to remodel. I'll be closing it and I will never EVER spend my hard earned money with them again. Was promised our furniture would Be available for pick up on Tuesday. It's now Friday and we are finding out our furniture was scheduled for a week from now. I returned to just browse during their 2019 memorial day and I was immediately confronted by individuals ready to help me shop. They can be overbearing and follow you around, which can be uncomfortable but I would rather someone try too hard than not try at all. We ended up finding furniture we liked and they were able to reduce the price to the price point we thought was acceptable. We moved early than expected but the delivery date was far out, but they were able to speed up the delivery date. Ive noticed that the furniture is good quality and during this experience, one they had my money, they didn't just forget who I was. I ordered bedroom furniture In November I currently have half of my order. The first time they came they forgot head board and both night stands. So second delivery was set to drop off head board they come and head board is broken and they brought one night stand but it was broken also so they took both back. 3 rd time back they bring head board and new night stand they sent no hardware to assembly 4th time back again they have the wrong hardware . Do yourselves a favor and do not shop here! The experience was okay initially, but went downhill from there. When my husband and I entered the store, we were politely greeted by a saleswoman named Jennifer. We were interested in making a specific purchase, specific color, etc. Ashley's didn't carry what we were looking for, so we decided to look around. It was so uncomfortable as we were continuously followed around the store by this same saleswoman. It became very clear that she was trying to make a sale. Needless to say, I was annoyed. She was a very kind and polite young woman, but I don't deal well with people following me around a store while I shop or look around. As we walked throughout the store, we asked a different salesman (that happened to be walking by) a question about the pricing on a specific set. He was very helpful and answered our question. As soon as he walked away, Jennifer came right up to us to ask if we had any questions and had decided on a set. Although we really did like this specific set, again, it felt like she was pressuring us to make a purchase. We told her we hadn't decided yet. She walked away, and shortly after, her manager Vince came right up asking what our reservations were. I was seriously annoyed at this point! He said he would give us a deal, but truly it wasn't a deal he was giving us. I knew this immediately. Not a coincidence he was able to "give" us a "deal" and take off $1,699.97 of the set my husband and I liked. In reality, all he was doing was giving us the online price! Comical! I still had reservations, so he said if we would go with him to look at the mattresses, he'd give us an additional $50 Ashley's giftcard to apply towards our purchase. Again, comical! My husband was interested in browsing, so we went. Again, Vince was trying to make a sale on a 5k mattress (on top of the bedroom set). He was trying too hard and at that point, I just had to cut him off and tell him we weren't there for a mattress. We proceeded to make our bedroom set purchase, paid in cash and left. Fast forward to the day of delivery, about six days later. We'd originally confirmed delivery time between 9:30a-12:30pm. The delivery men arrived at 9:00am and started unloading everything off their truck. Not a huge time difference, but why have a specific delivery time, if you cannot follow through. They set up our bedroom set and I noticed the railings for the bed were cracked -_- The delivery man said he would email corporate to have a technician come out and look at it. Look at it for what?! It's cracked. He said this would be the best option for us. Two days later, Ashely automated service calls to notify me the technician would be at our home this Wednesday between 8-11am. This was not a good time for us as we would not be available. As I waited on hold for over 15 mins to speak to a live person to reschedule, the call hangs up. My husband and I were very busy and I called the actual store that evening to cancel the technician and reschedule. They were able to cancel and reschedule. Despite canceling, the technician arrived this morning at 8am sharp as my husband was running out the door for work. My husband quickly explained the situation to the tech and told him we had cancelled and did not have time as he was on his way out the door leaving for work. The tech looked at his device and realized it was in fact cancelled, apologized because he never reset his device and never realized that it was cancelled. Knowing my husband was now running late for work, the tech STILL asked to use our restroom. This whole chaos caused my husband to be late for work this morning. I called the actual store this morning to ask why I need a technician to come out if the bed railings are cracked. Not sure what they have in mind for the tech to do, super glue the cracked railing? They finally agreed to just have new railings sent out to replace the cracked ones, something that should have been done from the get go. I agree the situation could have been worse, but I feel like we have had to go through so many hoops to get our bedroom set. I will be happy to be over and done with this store after all this is resolved. I honestly wish we would have gone with a different furniture company from the get go. l will never spend my hard earned money at Ashley's again. This store and management team is an absolute disgrace to this Brand. Every time you visit this store to get some help, every single employee is on their cell phone busy texting or browsing. Including their customer service agents which will never ever pick up the phone to help someone on the phone. Instead of answering phones, they are also on their cell phones. They always have more employees in their store than customers yet all useless. Customer service is a big issue at this location and their entire management team should be fired. Prior to coming into the store I spoke to the assistant manager who assured me that the process and the experience would be a pleasant one and it was completely opposite. Please don't waste you're time shopping at this place . I purchased all my furniture for my new home here paid in cash and I've had many issues with my furniture I still haven't received a bed that I purchased three months ago something is always wrong whether it's damaged or they don't deliver when they said they will. I have purchased a couch and a bedroom set from here in the past. Both times I have enjoyed the furniture but not the service. I went again today for the 4th of July sale looking for another couch and a kitchen table. I once again get bad service. The sales woman took the opportunity to have 4 side conversations with coworkers about her personal relationship which apparently is falling apart. After shopping for specific living room furniture for 2 years and finally purchasing and waiting for delivery for furniture from a competitor. I went into Ashley furniture at the suggestion of friends to check out their outlet section to ensure I actually got the best deal. After going into the show room I ran into Adam Wolf who was very helpful. At first I was skeptical because Adam said he'd get me the best deal (felt like everyone at every store said that). So after being in complete doubt about making a deal that night, Adam and I worked out an amazing deal for furniture that night. I never thought I'd be able to purchase furniture from a major furniture store, I was completely floored by the professionalism and service provided. ( warning its a long story to why we will most likely never come back to this store aging!!) So I'm not big on writing reviews because most of the time people write reviews when something goes wrong but maybe this is the only way that I can get the manager to call me back!! So we walked into this store on December 13th looking to buy a pullout couch since we decided to redo the spare bedroom in to an office. The girl that helped us was really nice she let us use a measuring tape and she didn't hover when we where look but she always came back to check on us. We finally found something that we both liked and would be great for the space and would fit in the door (we hope). So we decided to go with it but she told us that we wouldn't receive it till December 29th and we told her I think we are going to hold off because we have family coming down on the 27th and we would want it before they get here, then she informed us that the item that we wanted would be ready for pick up on the 17th but couldn't be delivered because they have so many orders so we decided that we would take it! So on the December 18th we spent $100 on rental truck and drove a half hr to the store to pick up our items but that's when we find out that are items was not there and we won't get it till the 29th we where pissed because we would have waited to buy the couch and not have threw out are extra bed but when someone tells you it will be there on the 17th for us to pick up we believe them (never doing that aging) so the lady said we can get it there on the 26th and that they would wave the delivery fee and they would call 48 hours to give you a 4 hour time frame when they would get there, so we said that's fine it was not ideal however it would get there a day before my sisters-in-law and her family came so they wouldn't have to sleep on the floor. So on the 26th I took the day off and waited for them to get there I called my husband to ask if they called him to tell us what time they would be around to drop off the couch he said they never called, that's when I called them and found out that they aren't coming at all because we wouldn't be receiving the couch till January 2nd ( so that meant I lost a day of pay and that my sister-in-law and her husband would be sleeping on the floor) I was pissed I told the lady from the call center the whole story and she seemed understand why I was so up set so I told her that I wanted to speak with management to find out what the hell was going on and why i didn't even get a phone call that are date was changed AGING!!!! After two attempts to try to get him/heon the phone the lady said she could send him an email a long with an email to corporate and someone will get back to me the same day!!! Well today is December 29th and I'm still waiting for them to call me back (same day my @ss) So needless to say we won't back for that rug or coffee table I guess we will just look for something at Jeromes or Mor!! Update So today is January 2 and you would not believe what happen, if you guessed that I would not be receiving my order today you are correct!!!! Just when you think it can't get any worse. The latest date my mattress was to be received was on January 4th. . . . . . . Oh look at that it didnt arrive and I have to wait another six days for it to ship from Wisconsin. We called corporate once again and they could not give us a reason why. Not only that, but the supervisor refused to speak to us. And now I am currently on the phone and no one is picking up. We were already on hold for an hour! So I tried calling with a different phone number, no such luck as of right now I'm at 30 minutes. I just want to cancel my order at this point.
