They had to pull apart their entire home, fumigate, and put everything back together; which is a lot of work for an elderly person. It is certain, the bed bugs came from this store or truck. My grandparents have not traveled nor have they had any visitors. It is impossible that the bed bugs just arrived coincidently after they bought this mattress. We knew exactly what we wanted and selected Banner as there was a 50% price reduction sale advertised for this weekend. Tom C. greeted us immediately when we walked in. He was personable, knowledgeable and he helped us find the right mattress for our needs. The price was about a third less than we expected to pay for a high quality product. Delivery was promised promptly and the old, saggy mattress will be removed as a part of the deal. Although many bedding accessories were offered, we politely refused and there were no high pressure sales tactics. The store was clean, had a very large selection, and our salesperson was friendly and knowledgeable. She didn't try to pressure us, she just let us walk around, sit and try out all the beds. I agree, go see Maryann! Banner Mattress recently had a tax-free on purchase promotion, but I found out about it 30min prior to its closing time. Luckily, Maryann answered the phone and she offered to wait for me to come in and take a look. I got there with my family and it took us about an hour to pick out a mattress and complete the purchase. My family and I all agreed that Maryann is the most patient and honest salesperson we've ever met. No one likes pushy salesperson who rushes customers into buying things they later regret. Maryann wasn't like that. We appreciated how she explained everything thoroughly in moderate pace. We will definitely come back to her to buy more mattresses and recommend her to other family and friends. One thing that could be improved is its delivery system. I was told someone will give me a call the next morning to let me know when the mattress will be delivered. But I had to call the store myself after waiting for that call until 2pm. I felt sorry for him, because at the time he had a toothache. Even with the toothache, he was very kind and helpful. Maryann also showed us some of the fancy beds. Ones with massage and heating and ones that fold up any way you like it. We picked the average "Banner Mattress" brand mattress. Came in on the Friday kicking off Memorial Day weekend. I had already shopped around a bit and knew if I was going to buy a bed se,t it would have to be by financing or store card. We had finally given in that we needed a new bed. Maryann was a great help. She checked our comfort levels first by testing out a few mattresses. She then ran my husbands credit and then ran mine to see if it was better. Of course, it was :). After figuring out our price range, she had us test out a few more mattresses. Once decided, the buying process was simple. She stated every charge and discount to make sure there were no surprises. Maryann is very knowledgeable about anything and everything having to do with mattresses. The delivery system is amazing. We bought the set on a Friday night. By Saturday morning we had a call stating our four hour delivery window, which was 3-7pm. Once we got the call, we were able to log into www.bannermattressonline.com and track our delivery (down to where the truck was on the streets). The window kept shrinking! Finally by 11AM we received a call saying they would be early and would it be OK to deliver. Of course, we were ready for a nap on our new bed! They arrived at 12:57 and were done by 1:15. Horrible untrustworthy business. I was told when I bought my icomfort mattress that I could take it back no problem there is a 60 night comfort guarantee as long as I spent $140 on their mattress protector. I ended up not liking the mattress and called to have them take it back. They now are saying that you can only exchange the mattress for a mattress of the same value or more and pay the difference. You will also be charged a delivery fee of $120. This is not what I was told when I bought the mattress and I asked about it. They will tell you anything to get you to buy a mattress. read more
