"BEWARE, CHECK THE PRICE OF ASHLEY'S ONLINE STORE BECAUSE SOME ITEMS COULD BE THE SAME AND ARE CHEAPER ONLINE" Been a customer of Ashley's for many many years and been satisfied with their long lasting furniture, but today is the last time I will buy from them. On Monday my mom bought 4 counter height stools. They had a tag with the price of $100 each. We got charged $400 for all 4 stools and the taxes and bought insurance for them. The salesman Bryant was courteous and helpful. Provided his cell number and receipts and we picked up the stools next door at the warehouse. When we picked them up we realized that the stools were packed 2 in a box meaning they were sold in pairs. Well the pair of two on Ashley's online was $150 which came down to $75 each stool. Therefore they charged us an extra $25 for each stool, $100 more than what they cost online. We attempted contacting the store over the phone and could not get through. I called Bryant the seller and since he had already made the sale he never bother to call us back after 2 messages. My mom and I drove back to the store and requested that they would credit us back the difference. They stated they could not price match what was on sale online. The salesman rep "ROXY" was rude and had no clue what customer service was. I was bother when I walked in there but was respectful, "ROXY" did not de-escalade the situation and defended her position and the store the whole time instead of being sympathetic. She apologized with an attitude and at one point she left me talking and walked away. The store Manager Sham was sitting next to her and did not intervene nor talk to me until I asked him if he was going to help me. The outcome was that they called the Ashley's care line and the Manager on the phone said that it states on the website that Ashley's stores can sell the same products at higher prices. When we left the store I asked the Manager for their names as both "ROXY" and the manager were not wearing name tags and he was refusing to give me "ROXY'S" name saying he didn't feel comfortable, eventually he provided their names. I purchased a brand new mattress at Living Spaces and needed a bed frame. Couldn't finde one there so we headed to Ashley's. We ordered a bed frame and a box mattress. The box mattress was only because the sales person insisted we needed it and that slats wouldn't work. Fine. $2550 later, they schedule the delivery three weeks out. I get a text message co firming delivery along with an actual phone call (call center in Philippines) verifying my delivery. At that time the agent informed me that my old bed frame must be removed in advance and the room should be clear for assembly. That morning, we disassemble the bed, dispose of it and wait for the delivery. Then I get another call about an hour before, saying....only the bed frame will be delivered and the box spring is back ordered. So now I have my brand new $2,000 mattress sitting on the floor!!! Ive called the store 20 times and no one answers!!! So here is a tip...they have a strict no return or cancelation policy and they are in commission so there is no reason for them to assist you in finding your perfect furniture or advising you of this. I purchased an extended 5 year warranty for approximately $350.00 for my Sofa Recliner at Ashley Furniture, my Sofa is less than 2 years old it still looks good however it doesn't properly support me I believe I have frame issues along with support problems this is it is causing problems with my lower back. I've contacted Ashley Furniture they direct me to the warranty company Extend with no assistance refusing to assist with Extends problematic third party venders who say one thing and report another with no resolve in repairing my sofa. Ashley collected the warranty monies for the 5 year warranty but appears to take no responsibility with their 2nd and 3rd party venders. They have terrible customer service, difficult contact methods and impossible to get repairs in an any professional intentional way in my opinion. I feel if you sale a customer a warranty you have a Leagal responsibility to see that your vendors act in in accordance with the contract and agree terms not respond by throwing the responsibility back and forth I'm very disappointed in Ashley Furniture I feel in terms of my $349.00 warranty I was ripped off and will have no choice but to pursue my own legal remedies. read more

Chair arrives defective - no stuffing on the top of the left arm. Husband called support and they tell him they'll make this right. Today, a box of stuffing was delivered. I can only assume this is a joke. We're returning the defective chair and purchasing another chair from elsewhere. A box of stuffing. They sent us a box of stuffing to fix the brand new defective chair. Ok, got support on the phone again: So, Ashley Furniture support people says they are happy to send a technician to come and take the chair apart in our home, put the stuffing in, and then reassemble the new chair. I told them that makes it a not new chair - it's a rebuilt chair and that's not what we paid for. The next step is we put it in the car and take it back to the showroom. Where we will take it and the box of what ever that nasty looking stuff is and put it in the lobby of the showroom. We simply want a nondefective new chair, just like what we paid for. Horrible customer service experience not once but twice! Ashley has amazing furniture, beautiful and a wide variety. However they have the most disconnected customer service I have ever seen! Their astronomical cost for delivery and setup (called white glove) is ridiculous. And the worst part is I missed work waiting for the delivery that never showed. They will not add any purchase to an existing order without jacking up more delivery fees even though they are already coming to your house. I understand no one works for free but to add several hundred dollars in addition to an order for a few more chairs is absurd. On top they cannot not even deliver on time. They probably have one guy doing everything by themselves which again shows the greed considering the enormous amount of delivery fees they charge. This will be our last purchase not because the furniture is amazing but because Ashley's customer service sucks! read more

I bought a couch and when it was delivered my friend was highly allergic to the smell that she could not breathe and had nausea with headaches. I reported it to them on Thursday and requested to have them come remove the couch from her house and give her the floor model since it did not affect her like the new one. The local store did not want to do that and my options were to have it be cleaned, or re- select something else. I did that and then was told that I cannot re select because it was not authorized. 1/20/2026 purchased a sectional at Ashley's Home Store in Colton Ca and was misled by my "trusted advisor" Rick C. As he stated that my existing credit line was no longer valid. Come to find out my existing line of credit was valid and that is what my purchase was charged to. Yet, Rick and the finance person proceeded to open a new line of credit on my behalf (FRAUD) through Concora credit company of which I had received a new credit card for. This is absolutely bad business practice. Bad business ETHICS to be exact. Fraudulent practices. After two weeks of speaking to customer service, I was finally able to speak to a "supervisor" who agreed that this situation was wrong and then proceeded to offer me 100 dollars as compensation for my troubles. Haha that was a joke. Appreciate the effort but 100 dollars isn't worth not holding those responsible accountable. There will be an investigation supposedly in the meantime I've been advised to visit the store to speak to management. So now I have to inconvenience my self to address a bad business practice (a fraudulent practice) by this company. We asked the delivery drivers (third party hired by Ashley) to take the items back, and after much hesitation they did. I have now been calling customer service (in the Philippines) to have the damaged items sent back and despite calling 3 times and speaking with someone in the Philippines, my items have not been delivered, and I still haven't received a refund. My husband and I went here to browse for a full bedroom set. I found one I liked but the salesperson said it wasn't in stock and would take until late june to be delivered, but we informed him that we would not be able to do that due to us moving and we wanted something a little faster to take with us. So we continued to look around and didn't find anything else we liked. He then came back to us and told us he would look into the other set we liked and see what was going on with it. He then came back and said that it was only the side rails but his "manager" said some other facility carried them and they would be able to get them by the time we needed. This sounded fishy but I was like you know it might be worth a shot since it was exactly what I wanted and what professional is going to come up with such a crazy lie? Obviously these money hungry people. We then purchased the full set, was told it would be delivered by the last week of May. Then last week of May comes around no email, no call, or message about delivery. We called the salesperson, told him we wanted a refund after he said the parts arrived but were damaged. He was like okay refund should be reflected in next 7 ish days. You guessed it right no refund came in, after waiting 2 weeks. Just another lie in a long string of them. It was clear we would need to speak with someone other than him. We spoke to another salesperson they said the refund wasn't even initiated... For such a big story, they have horrible service. I'm surprised they're still in business now seeing that they only have 2 1/2 Starz ownership should be ashamed of this company. Wish I saw the reviews before I made my purchase. Please beware and do not buy from this location. I purchased a mattress with the 10 year warranty and in four years the mattress has seen holes springs that are popping out against you while you sleep and yet they still say that it's not a manufactured defect basically say I should still sleep on this thing they sent a check out to come do their test to see about the mattress. It was just a simple string with a little piece of plastic with no weights, and that wasn't gonna be the determination if the mattress was defected or not made no sense. There was no body weight even though the matches looks fine from a viewer standpoint. Once you lay in it it was horrible, and I even told the tech if that doesn't make sense this test cannot work. He said it's OK. It's only it's already down an inch and a half and I said well how do I know and he said it's up to management at the store which I knew was false. He just didn't wanna have any argument, but I was sure the mattress was unsatisfactory and needed to be replaced. It has huge sink holes in the bed cannot support any body weight but yet I get a email saying that the mattress is fine. Is that a manufacturer problem and I'm pretty much stuck with it and then they called to see how I felt about my service. I was outraged and pissed and still answered today and told them I don't see how this is fair. This thing you cannot sleep on it but yeah, you guys are saying that it is fine. Steven was our sales person and he's super knowledgeable and helpful. With that being said, customer service and delivery is horrible. First delivery one of the wall sconces was broken. I called the customer service center and got the runaround and ultimately was told there was nothing they could do. So I went into the store which is about a 60 mile round trip drive to deal with this. The salesman, Steven, was awesome and just ordered me a new one. Since we were at the store we bought another item. Delivery was promised for March 28. I received numerous emails and texts reminding me of the delivery. One hour before the item was to be delivered I get a phone call stating the item was damaged and they'd be giving me a new delivery date. Been trying to call the store to speak with someone and nobody answers the phones and gets diverted to a call center which is worthless. We just dropped 3 grand at this location and planned on buying all new bedroom furniture with a budget of 5 grand. Not going to happen. Jerome's or Mathis Bros get our business from now on. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I purchased the extended warranty for my three items purchased a month ago. Due to two items being delivered and one being picked up, when I went to file a claim, the item I picked up isn't listed. I called the customer service number. He advised me since it was only a month ago, he would file a claim with the manufacture and sent me an email to send pictures. He didn't call me back but called my husband after verifying my number. He left a voicemail and provided me with the Ashley customer service location in Oklahoma. I then called the correct number in which they told me to contact the extended warranty company even though I had advised them the item wasnt listed and advised they are closed on the weekends so I would have to call Monday. I tried calling them after hanging up and they are open on the weekends just for limited hours. I called yesterday (Sunday) and was advised they couldn't help me since the item wasn't listed and I would have to contact the store. She advised they would have to email the info and it would take 14 days before I would see it and be able to file the claim. I try calling the store several times throughout the day but it kept saying no one was available, to call back and it disconnects. I drove to the store to speak with someone. While at the customer service desk no calls came in, which tells me they didn't have their phones on to receive calls. The store is a "superstore". There is no was no calls are coming in on a Sunday. They lady acted like I was bothering her as I explained the issue I was having. She asked the store manager who she needed to send the invoice to in order for the warranty to appear. He didn't know so she searched the computer. How does a store manager not know this?! Anyhow, she rudely tells me she sent an email and they would either contact me or the store - she didn't know. I asked to speak to the store manager - mind you he was sitting RIGHT there and acted like he didn't hear all I had said. I explained the customer service line was giving out incorrect information and making the company look horrible. How no one answers when you call the store. His name was Charles, and he could care less. I have closed my card with them. Decent prices, OK, selection, delivery was a bit of a hassle, overall just an average experience. Recently ordered a piece of furniture from Ashley's and was routed to the store for delivery. The delivery yet experience was not good. I got a date first but no time. Then the day before I was given a time but no choices. The window was 5 hours long on a weekday when everyone is working. The delivery driver just showed up with no warning or courtesy call. I told them I can be there in 30min and was told they can only give 15min for waiting. Wow, seriously.
