Can be a little difficult to find if you've never seen or payed attention to their sign while driving on the freeway. While the store itself is quite small, they have a decent display of BBQ islands. Some are pretty outdated, as I haven't seen any new items in the couple of times I have been to the store. The staff is nice, but a salesy nice. They almost did a good job on our built in bbq, while there's nothing major wrong there are about a dozen little cut corners they did that give the impression of poor quality. Things like the stacked stone not going all the way to the ground so there's a giant gap where you see under the bbq, the way didn't run the tile along the backside of the bbq, they didn't use any corner stacked stone pieces so the edges are strange looking, they didn't center or align the shelves or trash completely, the trim on the tile I wasn't stuck down all the way, they installed a dangerous electric hookup etc etc. can't say I can recommend. read more

I ordered a BBQ and a fire table from this business, What they delivered showed very low quality finishing work with mismatched stone borders and residual grout on the tiles. The first time I used the fire table that they fully connected in violation of their own business policy a gas leak resulted in an explosion causing me to fall backwards and strike my head on the ground. They determined that the wrong gas line had been used and sent a contract vendor out to replace it. That night I tuned on the fire table and 10 minutes later smelled gas again. Before I could react the table blew up like an M80 fire cracker and the steel door smashed my kneecap resulting in another injury. This time they found a leaking brass connector. The negligence and incompetence of this business is indescribable. If my daughters were sitting at that fire table they could have been injured or worse yet killed if the entire propane tank exploded. Worst part is the owner accepts no responsibility for his negligent life endangering work. I highly recommend that you do your due diligence before using this BBQ company. Edit: I am adding this photo to my review. The key to a successful business is customer satisfaction and integrity and BBQ island warehouse has neither. Please examine the brass fitting which they improperly installed on my firepit table resulting in a gas leak and explosion and injuries. Consider if your kids had been sitting around the table when the explosion happened and the serious injury or death that may have occurred from their negligence. BBQ island warehouse sent a gas line expert to my house who identified this fitting installed by BBQ island warehouse as the source and ignition point for the explosion. They will insist they do not do gas hook ups but this fitting comes directly from their shop and was improperly installed by them. Be very careful with this business if you value safety for your family and their well being. Folks just look at all the negative reviews over the years with this business and you can form your opinion about their quality and customer service. Edit: Mike, the gas connection expert YOU called in YOUR store in my presence after the explosion identified the fitting in the picture as the source of the gas leak and explosion. Burn scarring is clearly visible on the fitting. Are you saying this fitting did not come from your business and installed by your employees? We ordered a 14ft palapa, a stereo with a CD player. This stereo is in the showroom on a BBQ fire pit. Mike the owner was the sales man that helped up, he put a CD in the stereo and put it as high it would go and said this is the stereo that you will get. Also the palapa we ordered was supposed be 14ft, which it was not 14 ft, it was 159in on one side and 161 inches on another side. My husband express this to Mike and he said "we have to consider the pole in the middle which is 6inches and if your going bitch about 3 inches, I will just sue you" and then he hung up on my husband. When our BBQ island was delivered the stereo was the wrong one. We called Mike to address the stereo and our flat iron BBQ that was not delivered. He said "we do not have anymore stereo's like the one in the showroom, the one delivered is the only one we have." Mike the owner never once came to my house to measure the palapa. His way to settle is in court. Which to me is very unprofessional, especially as a business owner. Mike never once offered to make it right. He just wants to go to court to settle, which is fine by my, I should get exactly what I ordered. Also his delivery guys say they will be at out home by 12pm, but both times they came to deliver, they came at 10am. I also told Mike that I dont have a problem paying my balance of $850, however he needs to deliver a 14ft palapa. I redid my whole backyard, not just an island and palapa, we had a built in pool made and also cement through out the whole back yard. My backyard project cost of $100,000 dollars that was paid to the contractor. Its silly to not pay a simple balance of $850 for no reason. I even tried to settle this the morning before I went to court to file in small claims and again Mike very unprofessional refused. Also as a business owner he should, at the least try once to make a customer happy and he did not, very unprofessional again. Just make sure every detail is on the contract design. a small hiccup was that we wanted the side wall designs they had on the showroom models and we were told it would be included, but it wasn't drawn on the contract picture, so the builder did not know to put it on. No problem. But Do Not go with the person recommended to build the patio, cementing, and gas plumbing Hook ups. It was a third party person they recommended and highly suggested. The person recommend was Jose Manuel Aceves, ( goes by Manny). He is Not licensed nor Bonded. Nice person and great on the sale end. I am very disappointed to have to call him out. He did my concrete and did not slope it away from the house, so now Large water puddles towards my home when it rains. He built my aluminum patio cover charging $11,500 and did not slope it with the proper required minimum slope at all. So during thanksgiving day when it rained the Patio cover collapsed flooding the bbq island underneath. He would not cover and replace or repair the improper build without charging me for more labor and all the materials. Found out thru numerous patio companies that the slope was almost non existent. They all wondered why he was not covering the repairs to make it right. Its cuz hes not licensed nor bonded. I would have to file a lawsuit and its not something i have time for as of yet. He skimped on parts trying to keep his profit margins high. Water and gas pipes he used from the start were second hand with heavy rusts on it. My electric wall outlet was not secured to the wall and left with wires exposed. He tried to cover it up by shoving a brittle small piece of wood hoping i wouldn't notice. But it popped out and the wood had broken into pieces. He also said once he starts a project you would be the only client. FALSE. Kept getting delay after delay. What was stated as a 2 week project turned into 5 weeks and thats only cuz i started calling asking when he would show up to finish the job. The patio cover itself took him over 3 weeks. The new patio company demolished everything and installed everything in 3 days. And the work was so much cleaner and properly slopped and slopped beyond what the code asks for. They even fix edthe electric outlet for free. The other companies all guaranteed there work and it was written on paper. Stick with a licensed bonded person to hook up the grill and and patio and concreting you need for your backyard. Otherwise the bbq island build was great along with the customer service. read more

Yes, there was a mistake with the BBQ island, but we are human. There were no issues with having them take back the BBQ island to make the necessary corrections. If I could give 0 stars to this company I would!! Mike and his cohort Robert, are super shady and do not keep their word even when you have it in writing. We had Robert come over to our house for a consultation. When he arrived, we had a pleasant experience of designing what we wanted. Robert gave us a rough estimate and told us to come down to the store for a final price and design. My wife and I went down to the store and ended up talking with the owner, Mike, as Robert was tied up with another customer. We spent over an hour going over every detail of our bbq island with Mike. At the end, Robert had finished with his client and came over to join us. We completed our design and Mike said our design and final price would be ready in a couple of days. On 7/29 we received the final sketch from Robert. On 8/1 we received the "final price" of 20,000 from Robert. We ended up going on our vacation to Hawaii and when we got back we called Robert and told him we were ready to move forward. Robert then said our price was 4000 dollars more than he had texted us. We argued with Robert that we had already received the final price and that we wanted that price to be honored. He said that he had a miscommunication with Mike and that the price was 24,000. Robert was becoming very rude to my wife over the phone so she asked to be transferred to Mike. Robert said that Mike was unavailable to talk. I ended up calling Mike a few days later, and he claimed that Robert had never told him of any of the pricing issues we were having. The bottom line was Mike said that he didn't know the timeline of what we had discussed (Even though I texted him the entire text message chain between my wife and Robert, that showed a clear sequence of events) Mike said the price was 24,000 and thats all he could do. As a contractor myself, it is exactly businesses like this that give a bad name to the rest of the industry. These two are an extremely shady duo and I urge you to RUN NOT WALK the other way!!!!!! We are so lucky that we had this issue at the beginning of the experience and not let these two destroy our bbq island paradise!! If you go anywhere else and make a complain of the service you got, usually they manager or owner try to come to a resolution to satisfy the customer. Not here!! I don't think he knows how to handle bad situations and his easy way out is just hanging up on the customer just to not deal with it. Make sure that if you buy from this company they reassure you that all the equipment you buy will be assembled when they delivered and not in boxes for you to assemble together like if you bought it from ikea. Because if that was the case then I wouldn't have had a problem doing it myself, but I paid a couple thousands to get the crappy service I got! It would've just costed him probably less than $100 to get my problem resolved. All I wanted was my equipment assembled. Not connected to any electrical or water or gas line just assembled. But I guess he didn't understand the word "Assembled" I never said connected! Because the equipment was sent in a box with no instructions. Purchased an outdoor kitchen last year in July, the entire patio cover has flown off. When I called about my warranty they tried to tell me it wasn't covered. I will definitely be taking them to court. I have had 3 different companies come out and tell me that they used the wrong screws to install the patio. With the amount of money I paid to have this set installed I find it ridiculous that they would not even attempt to fix it. They never even attempted to come out and look at the damages. We visited this business on May 21st as we were looking into signing a contract to have a bbq island built in our small patio. We live in a new development of houses, in which houses don't have big patios, however we still have space for a small bbq island with a cover patio. Mike (owner) attended to us and answered all our questions. We expressed to him that we were just concerned that we have a small patio to which he said he would have Sam (employee) come take measurements so he could provide us with a quote. Sam came to our home, said he would have a sketch for us the following week. The following week came and nothing. Consequently I followed up with Sam (why is the prospect client following up w/ a sales person? It should be the other way around!). He gave me an excuse that Mike had surgery and couldn't provide a sketch, that he would have one in a few days. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Well, that was on June 2nd, today is June 22nd, I never heard back from Sam again. Maybe the challenge of our small patio scared him away? Perhaps this was our sign not to go into business with them? We knew we were in for custom work and had more than enough funds to do it. We were so excited to go into business with them solely because Mike provided such great customer service. As of today, we have signed a contract with one of their competitors in Loma Linda. In less than a week, the competitor had patio measurements done in person, a quote, signed contract and a sketch. I apologize but this review is LONG OVERDUE. As another reviewer stated, RUN, dont walk from this place of business. BEWARE, he has other names, locations he works under. The guy, Mike, that some are referring to, is the owner. Sure, in the beginning, he may seem nice but this guy is a crook and as shady as they come. How shady? We were quoted a set priced, delivered, but were not informed completely on the whole process, why? Mike, doesnt want you to realize just how much it will really cost you. Lets talk, electric, gas, water and cement if you need it. This and the extras ended up costing us over $5000 more. Tells you that you dont need a permit, beware again, this guy is deceiving you. You will need a permit if you are having gas and electric run to power this "island" What you are paying for is the island. They set it on a location and YOU have to get it connected. All of this would not have been a problem if it was explained from the onset. The more we progressed on this project, the more money it cost us. The project started off very slow, it took a long time to get the island made. Communication either does not exist or this guy gets aggressive if he doesnt like the conversation. For example, the appliances didnt light using the igniters that are installed, he claims they are intermittent. Intermittent and not working is not the same. The pizza oven was not installed properly and there were no GFCI plugs installed as per our contract. He also shows up at your house unannounced then its your fault if you're not home. Lies lies lies, not sure how much of what comes out of his mouth is the truth. Showed up at our house with another contract stating something about a system change, signed not realizing what a shady person he was. Received a call from the finance company asking if we had more work done, NO, we did not. Tried scamming us for another 3k stating he was losing money on the deal. Even forged our signatures to get his money. When we tried getting them resolved, he stated he would not be back to do anything unless we gave him another 3k. Got the finance company involved (loss mitigation) and not only did we not have to pay extra, but was given a credit for the down payment that he never applied, GET THAT RECEIPT FOLKS. Its the only thing that caught him in his lies. Also, got our credit to have electrician install GFCI outlets, he claimed it wasnt in the contract, guess what again. Its on paper. He lost again! He will try to explain away this review as bogus but feel free to message me, I can provide proof. We got about 3200 back from our finance company. Nothing but a headache and deception with this guy. The roof guy was his only saving grace. Steve, is straight up business. He made recommendations that made sense outside of what Mike was going to install. Took care of everything, came back out and adjusted without complaint. Custom Patios and more. Great work. He stated he is no longer affiliated with this shyster. At the end of the day, the guys that work to put island together, did a great job, the roof looks fantastic and all appliances now work. Go somewhere else. Its just not worth dealing with this dirtbag!! There is so much more I didnt get in here. He should be out of business. PS there are reviews from Mike M, including some in the hidden reviews. I ordered a BBQ island and fire table which was delivered on June 13th. Upon inspection I noted poor quality finishing with mismatched marble pieced and residual grout left on the tiles. Very low level workmanship. That night I turned on the fire table which BBQ island installers had fully connected including the propane tanks. A gas leak resulted in an explosion causing injury to my head. I notified the owner who sent a contract vendor out to replace an improper gas regulator line they had installed. That night I turned on the fire table again and smelled gas which was immediately followed by a very powerful explosion causing the metal door to slam into my knee resulting in another serious injury. They subsequently determined that a brass fitting they had installed was leaking propane gas. If the entire tank would have exploded they would have killed me or my family members sitting at the table. The level of incompetence and negligence with tis business is indescribable. I contacted the owner regarding a refund and he said that his liability company would deny the claim and they are not responsible for the gas connections yet his installers connected all the gas lines including the propane tank in violation of his own company policy. I highly recommend that you do your due diligence before considering business with this incompetent company. We visited a few other Island Warehouse shops before we found BBQ Island Warehouse. We worked with Jay who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient with us throughout the process. Jay was able to make arrangements for our old little island to be hauled away to make room for the new one. We purchased a blaze grill, side burner, and refrigerator to go with the new island. Jay was extremely patient as sometimes throughout the process we couldn't make up our minds about the colors or configuration to the height of the island and Jay was there to offer suggestions and input the entire time. We had a wonderful experience and would certainly recommend them to any of our friends and neighbors. Finally got everything dialed in with my awesome looking BBQ island and palapa the other day. Everything looks great, feels great, and my family and I are enjoying it. Quality made. The one thing I was most impressed with was our sales rep/customer service guy Jay who helped us out with this bbq island/palapa. Jay showed us all the options in selecting what we were looking for. Extremely helpful. He communicated throughout the whole process of when to expect the island/palapa. We had a stove top burner that was on back order, he went out of his way to give us a loner until it gets in. We needed an extra barstool chair, and he got it for us ASAP. Jay L. Went from friendly to not so friendly when I asked about options of put my own stuff on the island, quote "I'm not going to waste my time selling to you if you don't buy the stainless steal, that's where I make my money." At that point I left and went to extreme backyard in Ontario where the accommodated me and were much better priced. read more

We are so pleased with our new island! The design, quality and installation was great. It looks even better than we anticipated. My husband is so happy we had quests the very next night to show it off. Thank you Mike for making my husband so happy. I'm glad we updated our backyard. **Update-our bbq has been fixed. The cracks and shoddy workmanship have been repaired and we are happy with the bbq itself. We ordered an island for our backyard and made our selections with little issue. When the bbq was delivered, it was craned over the back fence as we expected-not a problem. When we asked about the final payment, Mike asked us to leave the Pay To section of the check blank. That sounded shady and we refused to do so. When we got home after work to check it out, we noticed many things wrong with the bbq. Cracked tiles, tiles cut with dull blades that looked terrible, and the door that we ordered was oriented East/west (longways) rather than north/south (tall). My husband called Mike and he said "I hope you're calling to tell me how much you love the bbq and not about problems". My husband started with the door being oriented the wrong direction. Turns out, Mike was aware the door was done wrong but didn't bother to call us or address it atTerrible customer service. But my husband decided that wasn't a deal breaker and just wanted the cracked and bad tiles replaced and obvious gaps in the stack stone fixed. Mike understood and sent someone named Roy and another guy to make the corrections. Roy was by far the RUDEST person we have ever had to deal with. He spoke to my husband and my mom like they are stupid. And when they were done with the "repairs" they just vanished. My husband has never had to deal with someone so rude in a customer service position before. After Roy left, the work was still not up to our satisfaction. So my husband reached out to Mike again. Mike claimed he wanted to make it right and sit down with my husband to talk about how to do that. We said we could be there Sunday and drove out to the location, but Mike wasn't there due to an emergency-completely understandable. Larry said he would give Mike the message and he would call. That call never came. My husband has reached out to Mike on multiple occasions. One of which he actually spoke to Mike and he acted like he didn't know what my husband was talking about and that everything had been fixed. That is not the case. So our bbq sits unused because the issues have not all need addressed. read more

Hands down, in my 45 years of life, this is one of the worst & most unprofessional outfits I have encountered. The representative that always answers the phone, Mike is obnoxious & rude, his salesperson Kyle is a smooth-talking liar. Run, don't walk if Kyle shows up at your house to sell you so much as a toothpick. He lied about the placement of my bbq, the installation, the timeframe within which it would come & then sent a very nasty, almost threatening text to my daughter. read more

Their hours are posted online and yelp...everywhere and I arrived before closing time. Completely closed no lights on thought they might have gone out of business. Complete waste of time. read more
