We have an existing patio cover that covers about three fourths of our back patio. The area around the pool that we prefer to sit in the afternoons was always in the sun until about 4 pm. We finally decided to add on to our pation and go the entire lenght of our house. After checking reviews here on Yelp I got a couple of bids that were all pretty close in price. Rick was able to look at our existing patio and assured me that he would be able to match what we have pretty closely. We hired Davis Patio Covers to get the job done. He was about two weeks out from giving a deposit and his wife, Megan, called to set up the dates. He dropped off all of the materials at our house and I paid him half of the remaining balance. It took him a couple of days to complete the job and he matched our existing patio perfectly. It looks like it's been there the whole time. He stays on site until your job is complete. If you need a new patio cover, stop looking, you found your guy, call Davis Construction and Patio! I called Rick and talked to him about what I wanted and he came out to give me a quote. He is great at communication either through calling or texting. He showed up on time and it worked well with my busy schedule, as he likes to do estimates in the later evening so he can avoid traffic. Rick is very personable and it was easy to explain to him what I wanted. Rick also suggested that I put a cover over my pool equipment to keep it protected from the sun, something I never thought of. He was able to give me a great price for both the patio and pool equipment cover and got me on the schedule in under two weeks! (All the other quotes were at least three weeks out). Just before he was supposed to install the patio, he had some health issues but still sent his partner to get the job done. Johnny, his partner, showed up and busted his butt to get it done! He was always checking with me on where I wanted the fans and the lights on the posts to make sure they were exactly where I wanted them. Also, making sure everything was perfect as far as the design went. Johnny is very meticulous and doesn't settle for anything less than perfect. They got it done and it looks amazing!! Ricky Davis and his partner just finished our patio cover and it's everything we asked for. He always showed up when promised from initial estimate, dropping off sample colors, to meeting the inspector. Start to finish took about 3 days all combined and all in the same week. If it wasn't for inspection requirements and the fact that one of our panels was dented from the manufacturer and needed to be replaced, the job would have been completed in about 2 days. This included can lights, ceiling fans, and added outlets with all required wiring. When the job was done they cleaned up so well you didn't even know they were there.
