We had 4 companies give us bids on Alumawood, Duralum and our final selection was Elitewood Ultra. Tom Rollins gave us an in depth idea of what would be required. We opted for the upgraded posts ( square) made of reinforced fiberglass. They installed 2 Hunter Fans and 6 dimmable LED can lights. His crew, Adam and Skyler were always on time and were a pleasure to work with for the one week install. We were totally, satisfied with the end result. Can't say enough about Tom and the gang at Rollins Construction. We've had them do three separate projects at our house in La Verne and have been more than satisfied each time. They've come out, given us a competitive estimate, and done great work. Our most resent project was redoing part of our patio. We wanted to do an enclosure and paving stones. Rollins doesn't do paving stones, but they work with a company in the area called Dominguez Masonry and Landscaping. So a project that could have been a pain in the neck got done pretty seamlessly. Rollins and Dominguez coordinated the project so that various steps, like doing he footings for patio enclosure, were done in the proper sequence. read more

We needed some creative thinking to design a solid patio cover that didn't obstruct the valley view from our kitchen or our deck. It was important that the cover attach to the roof and only have one support pillar. Two contractors were unable to accomplish the task. I called companies that manufactured the raw materials and one recommend Rollins Construction, so I contacted Tom Rollins. He arrived as scheduled to bid the project and agreed to give it a try. It took a couple months for the design to get finalized and approved by the city and for the custom mounting brackets to be fabricated. Then the installation date arrived during a heat spell. Tom's installers arrived and in three days we had the patio we envisioned. They were friendly, neat and efficient. It's an innovative design that seemingly floats slightly above our roof. The structure (11x20) is rock solid, provides great shade and has a life-time guarantee. Scheduling was slow in the beginning, but they really got going once they started. What we've experienced with other contractors is they'd promise to start right away but then in the middle of the project they would take a pause in the project and then come back weeks later.
