I was told to pickup my sofa and chair on December 31 2024 they never called to set a time so I called them and they said the chair was their but the sofa was on back order. the man told me if he was not in on Friday they would give my money back. 3 days went by and no call from them I went in on Friday 3 of January 2025 they said the sofa was their i asked them why no one called me they say they didnt know. so I told them I wanted to take it they said I would have to come back I told them no and asked for refund-because I was their they told me they would issue me a check in about 30 days when I paid cash money. so aster we went Arlin and round they said they would pay for the truck rental from the 31 and I could get my sofa and chair but I had to wait 1&1/2 hrs so I did the man cut the plastic off the sofa and cut my sofa I couldn't see the cut until I got home . I called them they sent me the parts to fix the cut and then sent the repair man to my old address in upland ca then they told me they had to reschedule me because the repair man was going to onterio ca and that my address in rancho Cucamonga was in the opposite direction. In store is great. Absolutely horrendous delivery service. The absolutely worst experience I have ever had. The level of incompetence is truly astounding. They continually reschedule delivery dates and have the worst communication and customer service. Some prime examples: 1) Ashley rep contacted me to notify me that they changed my time the day before delivery. I told them that was unacceptable as I agreed to be home to receive the sofas during the already planned times. The sales rep first tried to bully me and say I have to be there. Again, unacceptable, you changed your time slot not me. So, we finally rescheduled for next week after the rep tries to bully me over the phone. Unbelievable. 2) Next, because Ashley failed miserably to get the time right, I requested to reschedule to the next week. (Mind you, I am losing vacation days I'm taking to be present on the originally planned dates for delivery here because Ashley's extreme incompetence). Guess what they do, they send me a text saying, they will still be showing up at the delivery time which I specifically told the rep I could not do and we need to reschedule. Unbelievable, do your reps not communicate? 3) So, I try to call the delivery team number they include with the tracking, and to little surprise, they do not pick up any of my calls. So, I call customer service. (mind you, this part is good) It takes nearly 30 minutes to get ahold of a representative. When I do, I can barely hear the rep on the other side, and it sounds like literal roosters crowing in the background of the call. Is your customer service located on a farm? Customer service lets me know through the rooster noises in the background that they have successfully changed my delivery date to the following week now as planned. 4) So today I get this little kicker. So, after all of this I reschedule the delivery and confirm on the website for this upcoming week. Now two days before, Ashley's does not even have the courtesy to call me, nope, I get an email, "Great news, your new delivery is now scheduled [for a completely different day than what I selected and planned for]." I am shocked at the level of incompetency here. 5) So, I navigate the email to the "reschedule button" to try to once again resolve this issue. Where does it take me? "Error, call customer service." I guess I will be calling the farm with the roosters again tomorrow morning. The adventure continues. At this point, Ashley is starting to cost me money in my time spent trying to coordinate this hot mess. I am on the verge of cancelling my entire order and seeking a refund. This is absolutely abysmal delivery service. I'm convinced you have to try very hard to be this bad at your job and I cannot fathom Ashley's management considers this as an acceptable outcome. read more

Went for the first time to an Ashley showroom. Very glad we came to the Homestore in Colton. Especially glad we were tended to by the excellent Ali Assadi. If I have to be honest, I came with zero expectation that we would be able to purchase anything due to how difficult it is to qualify for any credit these days. But as it turns out, this was a very great experience overall. We were greeted very cordially by Ali. Normally I try to avoid sales people because usually I'm "just looking" but because we were treated so well by Ali and he allowed us to drive the experience instead of forcing something on us, we were more than happy to hear his suggestions. I was approved for credit but not with the bank that offered the 5 year no interest. When he suggested my wife try to apply and qualify. We didn't think it would work but he encouraged us to try and now are we glad it worked out. Too much to detail but I will end it with this: we need a mattress and as soon as we pay off this sofa, I am coming back to see Ali. To make matters better, he is a mattress specialist! Win win baby!!! To Ashley furniture management, thank you for having Ali on your team and for the excellent customer service! I'm on the hunt for a new sofa and have been to a few places because I want to make sure I look at all my options. I had never been to Ashley before so I thought I would look at their inventory. They have a great selection but our living room is positioned in a way where I need a custom sofa which is a bit pricier. The sales rep Julia, offered us many options and seemed very knowledgeable and professional. Not pushy at all and is very friendly. She also made a few selections based on what I told her I was looking for. Ashley had a great variety but I didn't end up buying a furniture set. I'm going to look at a few other places but I definitely recommend Ashley in Colton based on their inventory and customer service. read more

Definitely negative stars for this Colton Ashley's Furniture Team!!!!!! I cannot stress how bad the customer service was given starting from the sales team to the dispatch team to the customer service supervisor. Worst experience yet. I will never make a furniture purchase here again! I paid cash up front for a set of couches with delivery fees on January 17th. Delivery was scheduled for January 27th. Same day of delivery they called me to reschedule because the loading team damaged the furniture. Delivery was rescheduled to January 30th. Delivery team was at a totally different address on the 30th & refused to deliver to correct address even with proof of identification. Now, it took 5 30-45 min phone calls to correct address because supposedly that would get my delivery going . I called back to schedule ASAP delivery & they want me to wait another week. At the time of purchase before paying for everything I made sure to provide all my proper information to avoid any issues so that this transaction can go as smoothly as possible for the delivery date promised. (Mind you, furniture shopping is always 1k plus) Sales rep must of been in a rush to take my cash & not been careful to take Info properly. Second they damaged my furniture & have me wait longer. Now all this just sounds like they're closing sales & providing false delivery dates & rescheduling with any excuse to just to lock in the sales. I should have made my purchase at Mathews Brothers, they were 100% honest about their delivery wait times. I have family out the country sitting at a dinner table through out the day because of the Ashley's Furniture excuses. So embarrassing. I recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

I bought my bed frame and was charged an installation fee of $150 for the headboard and a railing. When I was told at first, it was free by a hispanic woman, the sales clerk that is. On the day it got delivered, the first delivery headboard was wrong, and the second delivery said they were from a third party and was not told that they have to assemble the bed frame although I paid ridiculous amount of instsllation charges. These third-party delivery on their own words stated that Ashley folks will promise you moon and star but couldn't deliver. I was relieved when I decided not to forgo with the termpur-pudic bed and base. it would have been disastrous. Never again I will go there in Ashley. read more

Initially the experience was really positive. PK helped us pick out furniture for our home theater. I was happy to leave a positive review. However, the experience afterward left me disappointed. Part of the purchase was a rug. I honestly did not understand the reason, but the rug was separated from the delivery order. PK said he would have the rug directly shipped to my home. I agreed but didn't understand the reason for it. So it was delivered to my home the Thursday before the furniture was delivered. It was very heavy, but I managed to carry it from the front door to the garage. When the delivery of the furniture came, we asked the man if the rug could be laid down first before the couch and loveseat. He said no he does not do rugs. That surprised us a bit. So the furniture was brought in and set up but we still had this large, heavy rug that had to be unrolled and positioned on the floor. In order to do this the couches would have to be moved. These couches have recliners and are extremely heavy. It was so difficult and extremely frustrating to move them to lay down the very heavy rug and then to move them back. If the furniture delivery employees do not touch rugs then that should have been made clear to us. I've had back pain for the past week because of moving the heavy couches and rug. I have had bad experiences furniture shopping in the past and I was hoping Ashley would be different. However, it was the same story-I was treated very nicely in the showroom but delivery is a very different experience. I need to add that PK assured me that the delivery would not be done by a third party and that it would be a white glove service. I really have no idea if it was a third party or not because the truck didn't have any Ashley logos (it was plain) and the 2 men did not have any name tags or uniforms that had Ashley on them. read more

Update After sale : so the bad service continuing on ! I had a problem with bed . Called Ashley customer services to find out if the added protection policy would cover me or not. After many calls and repeating the story to unlimited number of agents again and again. One agent agreed that the fault is covered by insurance. We agreed that I will get a replacement after 2 weeks. After 3 weeks I received nothing . So again the calls circle started ! To end up with an agent saying : oh sir sorry the protection wouldn't cover your item! What about the other agent who confirmed It's covered before? Oh .. that was by mistake .. is there anything else you want me to check for you today? ( like go away in polite way ) ! I am still in the midst of this issue. First, this is my 5th purchase from Ashley's furniture. I have never experienced this poor of service from your company. I placed an order last month (August) and paid in full. I waited as told to call as the items wouldn't be ready for several weeks. I called mid September as I was told to do. I called 3x and never received a call back to schedule a pick up for my purchased items. I had to drive to the Colton location just to work this out. I was told the bedroom set would be completely ready and available for pick up on 09-19-2020. I scheduled the pick up time for 11am since I had work at 2pm. I arrived 09-19-2020 at 11am and was informed my appointment wasn't until 1:40pm. (Other customers told me their time appt was changed as well). This was obviously incorrect but I was told my items would be ready in 15 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes I requested to speak with a manager. I spoke with the female manager and expressed my disappointment. My 2 year old son was In The car and need lunch and it was now 11:45pm. All items but the footboard was available. The manager Jackie told me she would personally call to let me know when it was available for 9-19-2020 or the next day 09-20-2020. The manager called late Saturday and said the item would be DELIVERED to my house on Sunday 09-20-2020. THIS WAS SET UP AS AN APOLOGY FOR THE ERRORS. The manager said she would call with a delivery time. I waited until Sunday at 3:00pm before calling myself. I was told by Stephanie in customer care that she spoke with the same female manager (Jackie) who said the delivery couldn't happen but told me the footboard was available for pickup. I was never called or informed. This would be night 2 where my daughter has no bed to sleep in. So I drove in and use my gas for a third time (counting when I went to the store). I receive the footboard and go home excited to complete the build of the bed, only to learn there are no screws to connect the headboard, sideboards with the footboard. NONE nor directions to do so. Furthermore we did not receive a lamp that was part of the order. I honestly could care less about the lamp but it's the principle at this point. I double checked every dresser drawer and box. No screws no bolts no directions. So I call and speak with Stephanie again. I express my displeasure and irritation. I was called back by Stephanie who told me there's nothing she can do and would not forward me to a manager. She told me I would be contacted by a manager tomorrow. Stephanie offered to mail the screws to my house. So how many days is my daughter supposed to sleep on the floor? I am absolutely disgusted with this experience to the point where I will never return as a customer. I have spent well over $15,000 at your store location in Colton from previous purchases. I have been treated with zero professionalism and not a single employee has attempted to go above and beyond to fix the issues or make me into a happy customer. All I have gotten was "I'm sorry" and excuses. And now on 09-21-20 I drove to the store to find the warehouse closed. So now I have to wait until Tuesday to get the screws to put my daughters bed together. Never buying from them again read more

If I could give Ashley a ZERO, I WOULD!!!! Last year when they delivered my furniture it took 3 tries for a small end table, the staff was rude the second and third time, they weren't going to set it up like I paid for, and the second set of delivery drivers made me feel threatened when I asked them to do what I paid for. The store was suppose to credit us back the delivery fee for the trouble...then I never could get a hold of them again, and of course, no refund. Fast forward a year, my year old couch is broken. The frame is dangerous the way it is sticking out and loose boards inside. I have called, my mom has called. I did the chat and they said someone would call. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS OR CALLS BACK! I paid for a warranty, but I'm Retry sure that's a scam now since I can't use it if no one responds! Now my family will have no furniture in the living room because my year old couch is destroyed. I had to buy a mattress today with same day pick up. The warehouse wasn't able to allow same day but Daniel in store suggested we go to the clearance store and we were able to find a great mattress to get home same day. Sadly our pet vomited up a ton of blood on our son's mattress so this is the reason we needed something today. She died sadly and it was so important for me to not go home without a new bed for our son. Daniel was so kind despite me being upset and a little pushy.
