I ordered two end tables and a coffee table. After placing the order it said it would arrive in to days. UPS - which means you have no clue when it's coming , so you must take a whole day off work. That was my last communication. I spent an hour on hold yesterday before hanging up and another 40 minutes this morning (you have to call a specific number if you order online). I tried calling the store and they were zero help - and now am back on hold with the online. Do NOT order anything online from Ashley. It's a joke. June 9th I was told the sofa was back ordered and delivery would be until July 2nd. We had already gotten rid of our old sofa. July 1st I got the automated confirmation call, about 10 minutes later I received a call telling me the sofa was back ordered and it would be delivered on July 15th. July 14th I received the automated confirmation, almost immediately received the call that it was back ordered and it would be July 22nd. July 20th I received a text message telling me the sofa was back ordered and wouldn't be available until after September 9th. I understand about COVID, I really do but if that is the hold up just say that. I'm tired of being jerked around about something I've paid for. Don't trust any reviews on their website, they don't allow negative reviews. This is not the first time we have had a delayed delivery so it's not just COVID that's the problem. This was my first Ashley Furniture experience. Needless to say, I stumbled in this store as I was making my rounds to see which furniture stores in the area I recently moved too had the furniture I needed and at a reasonable price. Upon arriving to the store, I instantly felt relaxed while looking around the store. I appreciated that there were no sales reps shadowing me. Everyone I encountered was friendly and welcoming. I was lucky enough to come in contact with Randolph Eller. He was great on so many levels. One of the many reasons I keep coming back to Ashley Furniture is that Randolph took the time to listen to what I was looking for. They style I was wanting. The fact that we are both tall individuals, he understood the physics of having the right living room furnitures for a tall person or anyone. He was able to put his sales hat aside long enough to share with me his own personal experiences with furnitures. He was not just trying to seal a deal. When I wanted time to walk around some more and ponder more about the logistics, I was given space and was not at all pressured. Not only is Randolph good at his job, he made this experience somewhat exciting and calming when it could have been stressful trying to make decisions. I am very thankful everything Mr. Eller did for me to make sure I was well taken care of. He definitely went the extra miles to make sure I was getting the best deals. And I have never came across where a sales rep had sent me a Christmas card wish me happy holidays. The little things are definitely appreciated. I have been pleased with my experiences. All my furnitures have arrived on a timely mannered, thanks for Mr. Eller. I cant speak for all the Ashley Furnitures, but for this particular store, I recommend. Ask for Randolph Eller. The price and selection was fine. Everyone at the store was very helpful. Until delivery time. We are scheduled for delivery this coming Saturday. I have to work and my wife had something come up, so we called to see if they could come after 12 PM. My wife was told that the 'lady' who does the scheduling doesn't route the deliveries until Thursday, but that she would put in a note that we requested something after noon. So today my wife gets the call and is told we are scheduled from 9-12. She told the person that she couldn't promise that she'd be there before 12. I get home and my wife is speaking to someone at customer service. She's about to lose it, so I take over. Turns out the 'lady' is a computer. It generates the route and cannot be changed after it is made. The second person I spoke to told me it basically takes everyone's name that has a delivery that day, puts them in a hat, and has a lottery. And nobody can change it. I literally asked him, "Is there anyone on this planet that has the authority to change the schedule?" To which he simply said no. He also refused to give my a number or email for his supervisor. Nice. But on the bright side, I was told I could cancel the whole deal and would only owe them 10% of the cost. I thought that was really nice of them. It is not the fact that they won't tweak the schedule to accomodate us. It is the fact the NOBODY I spoke to is even willing to entertain the notion. We will figure something out; I'm not paying them 10% for nothing, I paid for delivery, and I need that sleeper sofa for out of town guests next weekend. But I will never spend another penny at any Ashley affiliated store and will do my best to make sure no one I know ever does either. Being unwilling to even try to find a solution is completely unacceptable. read more

I really hate being negative, but.. We ordered a loveseat towards the end of May, and wanted to get it ASAP because it was going in a space where we really didn't have any furniture. The main thing was that we needed it in time for a gathering at the beginning of July though, so it was possible for us to be flexible, as long as we could get it by then. The earliest option for pick-up was about three weeks out. Longer if we got delivery, and of course you're expected to pay for delivery. We had a date and time set to come pick it up. We arranged to have a vehicle it would fit in, and went to the warehouse at said date and time. It wasn't there. No one bothered to notify us of this. Big inconvenience. They claimed it was on a truck on its way, and it might be there by that afternoon, but should definitely be there by the beginning of the next week. Of course it wasn't there by that afternoon, and it wasn't there by the beginning of the next week, or the middle of the next week, or the end of the next week. This is where we stopped being quite so understanding. I really try to be to fair, but it got to a point of being absolutely laughable. Like.. I don't even think simple neglect could screw something up this bad. Is someone actively TRYING to screw this up this bad? Am I on a hidden-camera show? YEESH. The communication and customer service was awful. Our salesperson was helpful, but only when we kept on him about it, and it was obvious at times that he was just trying to save his sale. I do feel bad for him because the fiasco that followed wasn't his fault. But it seemed like everybody involved strung us along. A general lack of concern. A lot of promised callbacks that didn't happen. We eventually negotiated free delivery. And I really do mean negotiated. If customer service were a priority, that wouldn't have taken nearly so much effort on our part. But of course it didn't stop there! The day they were delivering, we wound up being their last stop. Like many such things, there was a broad window for the delivery.. like 3 hours, I believe. I had a family birthday party to get to, so the window was pushing it, but I could still make it if they actually showed up when they were supposed to. They even had a handy dandy online tracker tool that let me see roughly where the delivery truck was, but then comes the end of the window and they don't appear to have left the stop before me, which is at least 30 minutes away. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt. Wait just over an hour extra. They're still not there. Finally, I call. They say the window was supposed to be central time, not eastern. Nothing ever gave a time zone. I had actually considered that, and made a point to check, but saw that it wasn't there, and figured it was safe for me to assume eastern since we all, including the store and warehouse, operate in eastern. Even if we're going by central, they were still late. I tell the girl I've got to go, and to let the delivery people know, if they should come by, we have an enclosed porch that they can leave the furniture on, but, since they could not keep their appointment window, no one is going to be there to accept it. About 40 minutes later, I'm at the birthday party I was heading to (late, of course) and the delivery driver calls me to say they're there. Did the lady I talked to not tell you, like I asked her to, that no one would be there because you were so late? No, of course not. Well, you can leave it on our porch, if it's acceptable for you to do so. I'll waive my right to be there to examine it upon delivery. But no one's there because you were so late. No, they're not allowed to do that, but they come out near my house all the time, so I can just call that lady back and reschedule for the next business day. I actually still tried! I'm a glutton for punishment, I guess. But it wasn't going to be the next business day. It was going to be roughly another week, on another day that would not be at all convenient for me.. so I would have to go out of my way to try to make it work AGAIN.. and of course I'm conditioned to expect by now that it won't work anyway. And, if we push it any further, it's officially after when we needed it (which was over a month out originally), so.. NO. No no no. I'm done. Good lord. Give me my money back already. I've lost the capacity to comprehend how ridiculous this has become. So, about a month and a half later, there we were.. no loveseat, but at least we got our money back. So relieved to not have to deal with these guys anymore. We get mail from them sometimes still and, much like Comcast mail, laugh and immediately throw it away. Lesson learned. If you need furniture, just skip the big stores. Find a small, locally owned business where they will actually treat you like a human being. There are plenty of them in the area. read more

Purchased a sofa because of how it appeared on the showroom floor. When it was delivered the quality was very poor (fabric bunched up on the back, large staple sticking out). I figured it was simply a quality assurance problem and asked if we could return it. Ashely's said they would exchange it for another - which was even worse looking. It appeared very much like a five year old used sofa with sagging pillows, cushions that are not flush and open seams. I called again and asked to return it for a different model sofa - but was told no. Unfortunately, we are stuck with a poorly constructed couch. I would avoid Ashely's because if the furniture delivered is not what you hope, there is nothing you can do. The certainly don't appear to stand behind their products. Not to pile on - but we had to wait nearly two months for the first couch to be delivered. read more

After buying furniture through this store for years. At least two bedroom sets. Most of a living room and some decor pieces I think I'm finally done with this place. After buying the king bed easily and getting it ordered with ease I went back in days later with more time to get a new bigger mattress for the upgraded bed. I understand that stores have to charge a bit more than a website to make overhead and whatnot. What I don't get is finding out my order is nearly $1000 over what it would have been buying from ashley's website. I was also lied to about the price of an adjustable base and got instead told another one was cheaper. Turns out it's $1099 in the store, and only $700 online. Or that the mattress(bed in a box) goes from $700 online with free shipping to $900 in store and I 'saved' money by offering to pick it up. When trying to cancel the order, I'm now told that managers do not have the ability to cancel an order and only the salesman who made the sale can close it out and cancel it. It's incredibly frustrating that even trying to pay the cancellation fee to buy it again and save money is so tricky. The quicker it's cancelled the less Ashley has to pay to have the product shipped. It just doesn't make sense. Will likely never buy from again and close out my credit-line with them. Buyer beware - corporate will be of no help and those answering the phones are rude and refuse to help by simply suggesting calling corporate knowing it's worthless. read more

Honesty, Integrity, Reliability And Customer Satisfaction Not Found Here My wife and I were in the process of having a house built, and we purchased over $5,000 of furniture from Ashley. The furniture delivered in late April of 2016 but we didn't officially move in until May 2016. We wanted to make sure the furniture was there by the time we were able to move in. In June 2017, my wife, who is only 4' 10" and weighs ### (like she'd let me put that here), was reclined in our electric reclining couch and the back of it went all the way to the floor, hard. Luckily my wife is okay but obviously the couch wasn't. I called on June 19th to get it fixed since we purchased the extended warranty (an extra $400 plus on the invoice) but was advised by GBS that this was not something the warranty covered. This is not what we were told by the sales associate we purchased it from; whom of course is no longer employed by Ashley. Since the couch is within 2 months of the manufactures warranty, I called to see if they would extend it to services the couch since we spent so much money there. I was originally told no they wouldn't, then yes they would, then no, then yes and they shipped me the part they believed was the issue. After about a week I got the part and I called back to schedule the appointment with the service department, like I was instructed to do when I received the part, but was told they weren't going to come out since I was out of warranty. So here we go again. After calling for a few times I realized that no one there was on the same page and so asked to speak with the store manager. He said that he didn't see why they couldn't send someone out, especially after they sent the part already. He submitted an "emergency response ticket" in which was later approved and someone was sent out to my house within a week. They came over, looked at the couch, said the part they sent wasn't the issue and proceeded to show and tell me that the part that was busted, part of the frame at the bottom of the back, couldn't have been broken by us, but had to have been broken at the manufacture and finally gave out. He said they would have to send a new back or a new couch to correct it. The repair guy did tell me that Ashley is going to give me a hard time trying to fix the couch at this point due to cost. I called again and was told that they won't be sending any further parts nor replacing the couch in any capacity. After a while of speaking with the service support representative on the phone they sent me to their supervisor who also stated they wouldn't be doing anything further since it was "so far out of warranty". I sent an email to Ashley Corporate outlining the details as a last attempt, which was responded to with, paraphrasing, "you'll need to contact the local store as they handle warranties". Wonderful. Another hoop to jump through. So I call back Ashley to speak to them again. After a while with the front line they sent me to their supervisor who again wouldn't do anything. I asked for the details of my request to be sent to me, which was denied. I then asked for them to email me their official decision to decline my request for the couch to be fixed, which was also declined and I was told that all they will do is just verbally tell me they won't fix it. I'm sorry, but everything that has taken place, the amount of time and effort I've had to put into this issue is staggering. No one at Ashley appears to be willing to correct the issue. Yes I'm technically out of warranty, within 2 months; but where and when does the manufacture stand behind their product? At what point does Ashley step up to satisfy a customer to the standards that their sales representatives are selling? I've been working at the same Fortune 500 Company for over 10 years who prides itself on customer service, so I guess I'm a little bias on what the definition of customer satisfaction is. 7/17/2017 - Update / Resolution Ashley has just contacted me back and is making things right. I should be getting an exchange for a new couch this weekend. Took some effort and persistence on my side, but at least they ended up doing the right thing. I would have been happy with it just being fixed or the back being replaced, but that's wasn't an available option. Thanks for finally coming through Ashley. read more

Warning: Do not buy anything from Ashley Furniture I went into Ashley's in October and found a couch I wanted for my Home. I sat on it for a long time before I purchased it. They delivered it in November. After a couple of weeks I noticed my bottom was at a downhill slant and my legs were at a up hill slant. And hard to CLIMB out of it. This was not how the couch was in the store. I called the manager and he referred me to the customer service phone number. They had a repairman come out and he said he could put stuffing in it but he didn't think that would fix the problem. So I declined the repair. He said he would write it up that it needs replaced but according customer service he wrote customer comfort preference. So I said well if your not going to replace the couch then can you send him back out to put stuffing in? Customer service said no. Call back in 30 days and we will send him out then. I called back and they said no will not send anyone out. They send me some stuffing, I called to ask how do I put this in? Customer service said let me call you back I will need to talk with a technician. No call back, so I called back and was told they would not come out and no supervisor will talk to you. So I ask them why the stuffing then? Sorry, you can keep it now is there anything else? REALLY? That's why I say stay away from Ashley's. read more

It was supposed to have been delivered on Sept 3, we were contacted the 2nd and told it would be here the 24th. I didn't hear from anyone regarding delivery so I contacted them to be told it would be Oct 2. No call, no delivery, and it will be another 3 weeks. Unacceptable!! I am so dissapointed! I have been shopping at Ashley Furniture for years and have been very happy with the quality and service. I recently moved here from California and wanted to get my husband a nice recliner for Christmas. I visited the Chattanooga Ashley Furniture and after circling the store numerous times I settled on a recliner almost triple the price I expected to spend. I decided to have the recliner delivered to my home 3 days before Christmas. Mind you I made this purchase 2 weeks in advance and the rep said its better to have it 3 days prior incase something goes wrong. My kids were so excited about the recliner we picked out! Its been hard for them to keep the secret :) The day came to have it delivered and I get a call from a lady at a location out of town saying the recliner didn't make it on the delivery truck and they couldn't deliver it until after Christmas. First, how impersonal to not have my sales rep make the call or even a rep from the actual store I spend an unplanned amount of money at. Then the lady on the phone says, "I see it was a Christmas gift, thats too bad." Well, thanks for that lady! I have four boys and my husband is in the military. After getting all the kids gifts, this one item was all I could afford for my husband and now he will not have anything on Christmas day. Yes, it will be here after the fact but when you make a commitment to your customers, its important to stick with it or have an alternative. No alternative was given. Really disappointed and distrust with this store. Laura S., I am not sure how to PM you, however there is not much you can do. Just THIS MORNING I received a CALL confirmation of my delivery AND an EMAIL confirmation. These confirmation of delivery come 3 days before they plan to deliver it. Now, when my item was originally suppose to be here on the 22nd, I should have received the same confirmations as I just did this morning. These should have happened on the 19th, however NOTHING like that happened. This delivery confirmation inconsistency leads me to believe my order was never processed scheduling my item to even be shipped or put on the truck. This is really saddening because, like I said, it is a Christmas gift that I was expecting, (and my sales rep was completely aware of and even the lady who processed my order) needing it by Christmas. All I can say is that the staff at the store were wonderful and our sales woman was extremely pleasant. However, once the furniture was delivered the delivery man puts you on speaker phone with the corporate office to inspect the furniture to say whether it's acceptable. Well of course it is. You just got delivered a brand new living room set - who has the time in five minutes to fully inspect it. Within one week of delivery, my husband noticed that the reclining loveseat was damaged in three separate spots and attempts were made to fix the leather. I don't know was I in anyway shopping as a used furniture store when I paid over $4,000.00 for a reclining sofa and loveseat??? Rhetorical question. No I was not. The fact that Ashley HomeStore let the couch leave their site in this manner is just deploring. They can make every attempt to make this situation right, however in my eyes that are without doubt a store I will never shop again at or recommend just due to the fact that they delivered a damaged couch and attempted to pass it off as brand new. Still haven't received my couch just wanted to put a review out there because of the bad customer service. From the purchase date I was told one time August 29th which is a Thursday and I had to take off of work. So I missed work waiting for my couch that never came but when I had called that morning and asked what my delivery time was I was told 12 to 1 and that I was the third delivery of the day. Only after I call and complain and was wondering where my couch was was when I got a shit ton of notifications and my delivery time which had changed again. Still waiting I was told again the next day it was going to be here around 2. So today my girlfriend took off of work to let them in for our couch to be delivered, again it is 5:15 still nothing . they changed delivery date twice and the time 3 times !Not helpful. This company is the absolute worst, I wish that it was an option to give 0 stars, they don't even deserve one star! Terrible customer service!!!! I bought several pieces of furniture here on May 25, 2021. They told me that it was set for delivery to my home 4-6 weeks from my purchase date. I was shocked that it was so soon, so I questioned her upon this and she said that it was indeed correct. On the 5th week, I called the number she gave me and received no answer and no call back. I called the main number listed for the store, the auto message said that I had an active order that would not be available to schedule delivery for another 6-8 weeks...I spoke to a representative on the phone and she told me that my items had 2 separate delivery dates...July 10th and August 3rd. I requested to know what specific items were being delivered on each date and she gave me the dates and a time. On July 10th during the middle of the day, I called to see where my delivery was...yet again the automated response said that I had an active order and that it wouldn't be available to schedule delivery for ANOTHER 6-8 weeks! I spoke to a representative yet again and she told me that I was given the wrong dates, that my items were going to be delivered on July 14th and August 10th...yet AGAIN I called them on the 14th...auto message was the same...I spoke to a representative and she told me that whoever gave me the info was incorrect. She said that the furniture was scheduled to be shipped from the warehouse on the 14th and that it was set to be delivered to my house on the 16th of July. She gave me the delivery dates for each item and told me all items except one would be delivered on the 16th. The final item would be delivered on August 3rd. On July 16th...I called one more time...this time the auto message said my items will not be available to set a delivery for 9 to 11 weeks. I spoke to a representative and she said that there were no notes on my file for a delivery today, if they had a planned a delivery they didn't do it and my stuff wouldn't be available until July 21, but if I wanted to receive it all at once I could set it to July 26th. I asked her why I kept receiving different answers, she said that whoever I spoke to was wrong and that she would adjust the date in the system. I am over this! The system is terrible, the communication and customer service is inadequate. I feel as if we have been lied to many times over, and no apologies or explanations have been offered. I will NEVER shop with this company again. On the 16th we called corporate and found out that several of the items we had ordered were on a manufacturing hold, meaning they were not even made yet...the company was not making furniture and there wasn't even an estimated date of when they would be made, but that we should call the store back every two weeks to check if they had begun making them. They had our order set for ASAP delivery, which means that they would deliver all the items at one time. One of our pieces was already built and complete, but the date kept getting pushed off because they would not deliver it until all pieces were complete. On the evening of the 16th, we went to the store in person, they sent us to the back of the store and said to wait for the lady behind the desk. When we reached the back of the store she was mid conversation with a fellow employee, we stood there patiently. When she was finally ready to acknowledge us she rolled her eyes as big as she could and said "What do you want?" I told her about my existing order for a dresser, a mirror, a bed frame with headboard and footboard, two matching nightstands, and a sofa. I relayed what corporate had told me, and requested that they cancel and refund all items except the sofa. She rolled her eyes again and said she would have to get her manager. When the manager came back I relayed the same explanation. He tried to change my mind by telling me he could put a rush on my items, I replied that I didn't think it was possible to rush a manufacturer on the building of their products; he replied "Well you've been talking to people making $10 an hr, they don't know what they are talking about. I can send an email out and I promise it will put a rush on it, I have connections. I've already done it for three other people today. This is just the way it is, and orders aren't set to be built until the end of the year. You won't find anything anywhere else." I said no thank you, I still want a refund. He finally agreed to permit the refund.The lady at the desk was typing away and then she gave a receipt that my order was cancelled, she said that my refund would be debited back to my account within 7-10 business days. It wasn't. It is now the 30th. I called, the lady said that there still hasn't been a request to issue it, and they didn't close out the order until the 21st and it would be 10 more business days! I bought a living room suit in December 2014 and was encouraged to buy the protection plan. This plan was to repair or replace my furniture for five years. I reported damage in August 2016. After numerous phone calls to the protection department, to the store manager and there home office my furniture still has not been repaired or replaced. So, in other words I paid for a service for nothing. DO BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! LESSON LEARNED! read more

Very nice customer service! They were NOT vultures like some places - Super knowledgeable. Bed arrived faster than forecasted which was nice. The Prices were very clear to understand and displayed there was no going round and round or even pressure to buy. The follow-up after the service from our sales person was nice too - ensuring that one we got the call the item arrived and we could pick up and then a few days later to ensure the item was to our satisfaction. My experience at Ashely furniture has been very poor. My husband and I bought a full bedroom set two months ago and noticed a small blemish on the front of our dresser as well as a drawer that would hardly open it was squeeking so badly. We called within the next 12 hours to arrange a second dresser delivery and had to wait 3 weeks to receive the new one. The second dresser came yesterday with a huge blemish on the front as well as a drawer that totally fell apart upon opening it. We have requested a third dresser and are hoping desperately that it is unblemished and does not fall a part. We originally went to Ashely because we wanted high quality furniture, but because of our experience we will never be using them again. If you want high quality furniture and fast delivery, please do not ever use Ashely furniture. read more

I bought a living room suit from these people. I had to wait 3 weeks before it could be delivered. Then on the delivery day no one showed. I waited all day. I called the store to talk to Randolph Eller. He had no idea where my furniture was. After he found it , he said he could deliver it next week. I told he I wasn't waiting 4 weeks for this furniture. I told him I didn't want it and to refund my money. He told me they were keeping 10% for a cancelation fee even though this wasn't my fault. I have since waited 8 days for my money to be placed back into my account. It hasn't been so far. What do I have to do to get my money back. read more

As if my original experience with Ashley HomeStore wasn't bad enough (just trying to get my furniture for 4 months after purchasing), I had a rip in my chair and called about my protection plan as it was still under warranty. Guest Services told me they didn't believe me that it was an accidental rip, and refused to repair it. I told them that it was a rip and actually happened while moving.. to which they responded, "it doesn't fall under the protection plan if you move.." Just one excuse after another. I just bought a new living room set and went to Ashley, found the one I liked, and bought it at another store. The process has been much smoother. read more

I have been in furniture stores where they follow you around to no end or they don't think you have any money to buy with and when you want help you don't get it. Whatever you do, go somewhere else to buy your furniture. The quality is fine, but you will wait months for your order to arrive. You will receive texts, emails, and calls saying your items will arrive by a specific date, but when that day comes, only part of your delivery will arrive. I have now had three delivery dates and have not received four items I purchased months ago. The store manager claims not to know when the sudden back order will be fulfilled. The sales associates will look you in the eye and lie to you about the ease and timing of delivery. Save yourself this headache. It's not worth it. There are plenty of other places to buy furniture in Chattanooga. This is not the place. No one wants to deal with this nonsense. read more

Don't waste your time or money at this store. The furniture looks beautiful but the quality is less than mediocre! The salesperson even pitched me their insurance plan and gave me the story that if anything happened it would be covered. I purchased the plan and a year later the legs are falling off my kitchen table chairs and apparently insurance doesn't cover faulty furniture it will only cover scratches and burns on the top of the table. I called Ashley furniture no response Facebook page no response they obviously just want your money and after that they don't care about their customers. Don't even bother calling customer care either their associates can barely articulate any words! Ashley furniture you should really look at your business practices I may just be one customer but I'm going to make sure everybody I talk to knows what a horrible furniture store you are! read more

We spent alot of time searching for our couch. We finally ordered one from ashley. The only reason it is getting 1 star is for the salesperson in the store. Our delivery date was 5-6 weeks out but we decided it would be ok and went with it. He said it may even come early. 2 weeks before the end of the delivery window, we got a call saying it would 6 more weeks. The people at corporate customer service was not friendly or helpful. This was my first time purchasing from Ashley and after this visit, they have lost my business forever. The salesman we had was very nice and helpful but we discovered that we had be lied to about a couple of things. We were told that there was a warehouse in Chattanooga that my furniture would be coming from. However, when we called to check on the status, we found out it would actually be coming from NC. Due to this, we did not get the furniture by the date we had originally planned. We had originally wanted it delivered but that was going to take even longer so we arranged to pick it up. Due to the timing of having a trailer big enough to haul the furniture we were on a time constraint and asked them to call us if it came in early, especially since the warehouse is only open on odd days (probably why they can't get anything done on time). My furniture arrived early and we never got a call. We called to talk to a manager multiple times and never heard back. When we finally decided to go to the store to talk to him, we had to wait over an hour. Then he didn't seem to care. Basically, they had already made the sale, so why did it matter? My furniture looks decent and was what I ordered, but I hope I have no issues with it in the future because I'm sure I won't get taken care of then either. We bought my bed set at a different furniture store in town and had a way better experience. I'll be buying all of my furniture there from now on. read more

I will never shop here again!! After dealing with a really great Salesman, Harry, we were excited to start getting our furniture room by room. After this first horrible delivery experience and non existent customer service, we decided that we would be shopping elsewhere for the rest of our furniture (living room, bedroom set, guest bedroom and home office). The way the delivery men treated me was unacceptable! The first delivery guy walked in and immediately tried to get out of taking my old box spring before bringing in the new one. He said that they could not take my box spring because it has a mark on it..a scuff mark to be exact!! Before I purchased a new one, I made sure and asked our salesman if they take the old box spring away when we purchase a new one, he checked and said they did. However, when the delivery guys came, it was a whole different story!! The first delivery guy was very rude, he didn't even care or try to have a satisfied customer (I could tell as soon as he walked in that he did not want to bother with moving a box spring up my driveway since he could not back in with the truck). My dining room chairs were light enough, I guess. They practically threw those down and insisted they could not take my box spring and told me it was there sole discretion. He was rude and abrupt and wanted me to sign the delivery fast because "it was going to rain". I was trying to call the store because I was sure this was some kind of mistake. If this was a third party delivery company, I wouldn't be writing this but the guys actually work for Ashley Furniture and they should care if there is an issue. When I called the store, I couldn't get anyone in management or customer service to respond. I guess they don't care if they lose all my future business!! Customer service is from beginning to end and the customers matter!! The delivery guy did not care that I said I will not get anymore furniture from the store--he said "that's what everyone says". With that kind of attitude and comment, why would he still have a job?? read more

The selection wasn't bad. The customer service was aweful. It seemed like they hated each other and were annoyed to help. My fiance found a comforter she wanted and we asked for the price. They couldn't give us a price because it was on clearance and only one person at the store can give you the price and she wasn't there on the weekend. The manager couldn't even offer it to us for a price. We also bought a lot of furtinture and felt like we were bother the lady at the checkout. She was more interested in arguing with the sales lady than customer service. The sales lady was nice and tried to help however she could. I like the place but I'm not sure if I'll ever go back just because of the customer service. read more

Terrible service! We ordered my daughter's bedroom furniture from Ashley a couple of years ago. We wanted to get her a new bed, so we ordered the same style to match the furniture. It was supposed to be delivered this morning from 9:15-12:15. Apparently the delivery came 45 minutes early, knocked on the door and then left. I was home at the time, so they did not try very hard to get an answer. Now, they will not deliver the bed today, refuse to refund the delivery fee, and have not rescheduled at this point. I have requested to speak with a supervisor after poor service from customer support, and I haven't received a call back yet. read more
