He sees my truck and starts screaming at me and waving arms. I could hear with my window's all rolled up. Real class act....... 8/24/26 - on my way to work. Kyle getting out of his truck parked in front of the building he rents in town with the obnoxious branding immediately sees my truck coming and again with the windows up he begins yelling directly at me in my truck. Driving at 25 MPH with windows up I could still hear him call me some sort of ____ but google won't post my review if I say what he said. Class act, proud small business owner, psycho. At this point, if you allow this fool to touch your property, it's on you. BTW, I hear other local roofers are quite happy cleaning up after this crew's messes...... Should be more like uncrafted. 08/26/26 On my way to work. Infront of the store front sits a brand new BMW and as I drive down the public street I get flipped off by none other than everybody's least favorite scamming roofer Kyle the Uncrafted guy. It seemed as though everything was going to be "Add Ons" that they determined the cost of as they went. The salesman didn't even go onto our roof or inside the attic like the other professional roofing companies did. Very unprofessional from the start. The treehouse ended up being much higher than expected, and I quickly realized DIY was beyond my comfort level. Apek was incredibly responsive and willing to take on the unusual request. They did an excellent job and had it completed in just a few hours! They saved us countless weekends of work and, very likely, a trip to the hospital. We love supporting a locally owned business, and when it's time for our actual roof in a few years, Apek will absolutely be our first call. Highly recommend!

Our roof and gutters were damaged in the March 31,2026 hailstorm. We contacted several roofing…read morecompanies to assess the damage and provide quotes. APEK came out as soon as they could. The was an area wide storm and they were very busy. Brian Ronan checked our roof and took detailed pictures of the storm damage. He provided a quote to replace the roof, skylight, and gutters. After speaking with several other roofing companies, we decided to go with APEK. We had never filed a homeowners claim and APEK was very helpful in the process. We were placed on the schedule and waited our turn. The APEK office is very good at keeping the customer informed. Our roof date was pushed back due to weather issues impacting the jobs before ours. The weather this year has been crazy. The APEK crew arrived on August 31st and got right to work on the roof. This was a hard working and great team. The weather impacted the job, and it took two days to do the full roof. Not a problem because the final product looks beautiful. The third day was the gutter team. Again, a hard-working crew that knows what they are doing. New gutters and downspouts installed and pitched correctly. Both teams did a great job of protecting our home, plants, and other personal items outside. I am very happy that we went with APEK. I would highly recommend APEK if you have storm damage or simply need a new roof. We had a fantastic experience with APEK from inspection to new roof and gutters.

Factual Warning: Incomplete Work and Communication Breakdown…read moreI contracted TTLC Inc. (Plainfield, IL - License #104019281) for a complete new roof installation on my property. Following the installation, multiple workmanship issues became apparent across the system. Despite multiple attempts to contact the company via phone and text to have them address these issues under their workmanship obligations, TTLC Inc. has promised a reply and corrective actions but doesn't reach back out. Because the matter remains unresolved, I have filed formal consumer complaints with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and the Illinois Attorney General's Consumer Fraud Bureau. A local municipal building inspection is scheduled to evaluate the installation for building code compliance. I am sharing this review to factually document my experience with this contractor's post-installation customer service and lack of communication.
