If I could give 10 stars I would! Mueller Roofing Inc of Joliet, IL are above exceptional to work with. I have to start by saying that Amelia Green did an amazing job convincing the owner of RJ's where I work to get a new roof. The roof was in such bad shape, we had leaks that could have caused our gaming to be removed from our establishment. Amelia explained it to the owner what needs to be done to protect his gaming. She was more than professional. She then talked to her boss Phil who owns Mueller Roofing Inc. He came out took a ton of photos and scheduled us to have our roof done. Well, that did not happen because the weather took a turn. However, Amelia kept us updated, If I had questions, she would answer them to the best of her ability and if she did not know she would tell me she doesn't want to mis-speak and that she would reach out to Phil. I always got the answer I needed. Amelia called the Friday before the work was going to be done, On Monday February 24, 2025 They started right on time at 7am like she said. There were many workers involved and they seem to have a system so they each knew what they had to do and what the others were doing so no one got in each other's way. A supervisor named Kevin was on sight the whole time to handle any questions from me or his staff. They worked continuously only stopping once for lunch, we bought them all beef sandwiches to show our immense gratitude. They finished on time. This company owns their own dumpsters and trucks so the dumpster arrived and all the materials were placed outside in specific locations. What efficiency! When the job was done, the dumpster was gone so it didn't sit on the property for days-which I thought would happen. We are very pleased with the quality of work, professionalism and friendliness from the entire Mueller Crew. If you want a business that stands by its work, hire Mueller Roofing. Mueller Roofing put our first roof on in April 2010. Last fall when my husband was cleaning out the gutters, he noticed that our roof looked in poor condition. I called Phil Wiechec, and not only did he remember us, he agreed to come out and take a look. Phil came out and agreed the roof should not have worn so quickly. He immediately sealed some of the tiles and then advised me to file a claim with Owens-Corning, since the shingles were failing. Phil provided the link for the claim, and I got to work on it. Needless to say, I wish Owens-Corning were easier to work with. They asked for shingle samples and pictures that required someone to get on the roof. Phil came out multiple times and got what we needed so we could continue our claim, and he NEVER charged us for any of his visits. When I asked if we owed him, he claimed that this was just part of his job since he put my roof on a decade ago. Thanks to Phil's help, Owens-Corning agreed to give us all new lifetime shingles. Once we had the voucher, Phil went to work on giving us a price for labor, and it was very reasonable. Frankly, I feel that he charged me just to cover his laborers; I doubt he made any profit, but Phil did the roof because in his mind, it was the right thing to do for a client. Before I rate the crew, I would like to say that Phil's attention to detail is impressive: we have a front porch that he did not roof a decade ago, and he said, "If you don't mind, I'm going to tear off that front porch roof, so everything matches." I love that he was looking out for us in terms of aesthetics and curb appeal. On the morning of the install, his crew showed up at 6:50. They were all polite, professional, and detail oriented. The head of the crew confirmed what he was replacing and then his crew immediately started prepping: they covered my entire drive and all the way around the house with tarps and covered doors with plywood in an effort to protect them. When they left, I went outside and it looked like they'd never been there-all the trash was gone, there were no errant nails, and none of my spring flowers around the house were damaged. I had wind damage and lost several shingles. On the recommendation of a friend in construction, I called Levi Brock at Mueller Roofing, Inc. in Joliet/New Lenox, IL. He is an excellent representative of a great company. He came out the next day to assess the situation. Because I figured it would be more fiscally wise to put on a new roof rather than "piecemeal" it and lose more shingles in future windstorms, I elected to have him give me a quote on a new roof and gutters. He also had tarp put over the missing shingle areas until the insurance company could come out. The insurance company denied my claim. I knew I needed a new roof, so I went ahead and asked Levi to arrange it. His job quote was very reasonable. An excellent crew came out and began the work. They came out earlier than originally planned the first day and finished up the next morning. Their preparation and cleanup of my property was great. They were efficient, organized and kept working continually. My gutters were supposed to have taken two weeks to wait for a crew, but they had a cancellation and plugged me in and came out a day or two after the roof was done. All the while, Levi kept in contact with me to make sure I was satisfied and let me know what to expect schedule-wise. After I wrote a letter to my insurance company telling them how disappointed I was that they would not cover a roof with matching shingles and how leery I was that another windstorm/rainstorm would damage my roof more, they checked into it again and found out my shingles were no longer available, so they agreed to pay for a new roof. I know Levi helped expedite this with his pictures and information when the insurance company contacted him. Levi truly went over and above with this whole process and I so appreciate it. We had just bought our dream home and 5 months later a storm tore our roof up. We had never had to deal with anything like this before and had no idea where to start. After reporting the problem to our insurance company they came and advised us we needed a whole new roof as well as gutters. We contacted several roofing companies, none of which gave us the time of day after hearing that it would be paid for through an insurance company. Phil from Mueller Roofing Inc. came to our home within a few days. Phil saw that we had no idea how any of this worked and walked us through the whole process as if we were his own family. Phil knew that my wife and I work crazy shifts and are rarely home together so he dropped off samples for us to choose from. He told us to take our time as he had everything in stock and simply text him when we made a decision. After receiving the text, Phil was at our home and scheduled his crews to begin work the next day. Within 2 days our roof and gutters were completely replaced. We were concerned about nails and debris from the roof being on the ground due to having dogs but his crews meticulously cleaned the yard and even had magnets and vacuums to leave it as clean as they found it. We just had Levi Brock and Mueller Roofing at our house to replace a roof, gutters, soffits, the works. Not ever having put a new roof on a house it was a very scary and emotional decision for us. It was leaking in many places. They needed to replace 180 feet of boards underneath and took 3 roofs off our garage. IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL! The work is impeccable. Gill and his crew were the BEST working team for not being a bunch of military guys! They all went above and beyond to make things the best they could be under the circumstance of pulling all the crap off the house. The color that Levi thought would look the best makes the house warm and inviting and with the "extras" (siding around the dormer) that we asked for, everything is so nice, people are stopping to look at the house! We are so appreciative of the respect to our property, the clean-up, the professionalism and Levi makes you feel at ease and comfortable with the entire process. We hired Mueller Roofing to do our roof and gutters and they have been extremely exceptional. From the referral I received to the last phone call. I set an appointment with Phil and he came out promptly and on time. We discussed the scope of the work and we received a quote later that day. Mueller's attention and pricing couldn't be beat by others we had come out for quotes. We had a few issues with our venting in a few areas and Phil took care of everything. He explained the process and was always available for questions. The crews that came to do the work, one crew for roof, one for gutters, showed up on different days, on time and got right to work. Afterwards, each crew cleaned up any debris, mess that was created and were on their way like they were never there. We really appreciated their pricing, which was in the ballpark of others, however their costs on other items were very reasonable, for example, the plywood for the roof decking was at least $30/per sheet cheaper than other contractors, which can add up in a hurry. These guys installed the roof on our house, probably 15+ years ago. We have never had a need for them to come out.....until a few weeks ago when a leak appeared in our upstairs bathroom. They were very responsive and came right out to see what was going on. We still had snow on the roof and they weren't sure they were going to be able to get up to take look - so the two guys explored every option until they found a way to get it done - gotta like that. Once up there, they quickly found the issue, got it handled....fixed up a few other items and did an overall inspection to make sure all was well. Both guys were knowledgeable, explained what they found, the likely causes, etc.....I was quite impressed with the experience. Levi followed up with me twice to make sure all was well and to talk about some other things I wanted to get done. I intend to use these guys for some new gutters and a few other things they need addressing. BTW - the leak was caused by an Ice Dam that got under a couple of shingles. Noticed I needed a roof after cleaning the gutters.I was aware of the type of work Mueller Roofing did on my neighbors roof a couple of years ago,so I called them for an estimate. Levi the project manager came out and gave an estimate. Levi was very helpful,explained everything. He was very knowledgeable,honest and was very fair. About 12 days later the crew showed up right on time,actually a little early,how often does that happen these days ? The crew started right away,complete tear off of old shingles,secured loose boards,replaced damaged wood , etc. The workmanship on this project was outstanding and everyone was very courteous and professional. Top of the line crew. The job was finished in less than a day and when they were gone the only way you could tell they were at my house was a new roof. I wasn't sure what to expect. Mueller put up new gutters for me 8 years ago. I found the original signed agreement for the work and noticed it said 10yrs warrantee on the labor. My gutters were leaking in the corners so I thought I would contact them to see if they could help. I found Phil's contact info on their web site and sent him an email. I was very pleased to hear back from him via email within 24 hours. He said resealing the corners would absolutely be covered and they would be happy to take care of that at no cost to me. I was very happy but that's not everything yet. I was totally blown away when they came out to do the work and noticed I was missing some tiles from my roof. no problem they said. They were able to fix that for me too and didn't change me a dime. We had a roof done about 13 years ago. It was suppose to be guaranteed for 20. Paid just over ten grand for the job thinking I was getting better quality in materials and workmanship. I called to say I have water spots and a physical leak when it rains and it was within the last couple years it started. A man named Levi called me and proceeded to tell me its because the area I live in has a high water table and not enough insulation in my attic is to blame. He never came out to look. I called again, insisted someone come and look, Levi came to my house and proceeded to tell me its my crawl space, never once even looked at it. mind you this was in February. He said someone would come out. April came no contact, called again, again it was Levi with the same excuse. He said again someone will come out. its now may, no one has contacted me. Customer service is poor, and will not honor their guarantee. not happy, waste of money could have gotten same or better for a lot less read more

I would like to thank Mueller Roofing for the repair of my roof. When I called the company, they were professional and knowledgeable. The gentleman, who answered my call explained to me that the storm that came through New Lenox and Joliet area created a lot of damage to people's homes. He asked me if my roof was leaking and they are taking priority's first. I explained the roof is leaking only when the rain comes sideways out of the west, in addition to the flashing being damaged on the peak of the house. When they came to my home and seen the roof was 2 years old (they did not replace my roof, I had another company do the work, Big mistake!!!) they explained they did not replace the flashing under the shingles where the garage is and that's why we are getting water leaking in. On July 28,2017, Mueller Roofers, placed new shingles, vents and other items on our home. The workers did a fantastic job, completed job in a little over 9 hrs, removed and cleaned up old materials. They did a thorough job of cleaning up. The new roof, vents and chimney look wonderful. My husband says:" the job makes our home look like a brand new one". Levi did a fantastic job, returned our first call within 2 days, which time frame was perfectly acceptable to us, and met with us several times during the process of getting our job scheduled. We DID NOT expect to have the job done immediately due to the number of homes suffering hail and wind damage in the area. The last thing I wanted to spend money on was a roof, but when last month's rain storm started flowing into my attic, we had a situation. We called a few places and Mueller was able to get someone out to patch the spot almost immediately. We asked for an estimate to replace the roof and were so impressed with the number we told them to go ahead and do it. A couple weeks later, couldn't be happier with how it turned out. As a side note, my 4 year old was like a mini foreman out there an all the guys were super sweet and waved and talked to him. One roofer even gave him an old drill. I had a leak in the roof of my attached garage. It was leaking a lot of water and I needed it fixed quickly. One contractor told me they don't do repairs, another set an appointment and never showed. Phil showed up same day and found the problem right away. It was after 6:00 PM but he had his service guy come right over. They fixed the flashing and rerouted a downspout in about 15 minutes. They didn't just do it quickly, they did it right. Great company and Phil is incredibly knowledgeable. Professional, personable and efficient. I will only call Mueller Roofing from this point forward. I don't think you'll find a better, more honest and honorable roofing contractor within 100 miles. I had a bit of a catastrophe in mid December whereby my gutters, soffit and facia came crashing down in the middle of the night. It was caused by an ice dam. Mueller Roofing came out early morning to survey and had their team out a few hours later to assess the damage and haul away the extensive debris. Their other team came at a later date to complete the repair which included replacement of some rafter ends alongside with gutter, soffit and facia. Manny and his team completed the aforementioned work in a day. Manny subsequently came back at a later date to complete the work order with the installation of leaf guards for the gutters. She takes care of A LOT of the day to day scheduling and maintenance for the household while I am at work. You would think that coordinating these things with companies (large and small) would be somewhat accommodating but, we have found that this kind of convenience and accommodation comes in very small doses.
