Based on his recommendation during the estimate, I paid about $200 to have an electrical outlet relocated before the radon system was installed. The outlet ended up not being needed at all because the fan was installed in a completely different location. Even the technician suggested the original assessment was incorrect. When I brought this up, I wasn't asking to be reimbursed for the full amount. I simply requested a small $50 credit as a goodwill gesture. Justin refused. No apology, no accountability, and no effort to make things right after his recommendation caused me to spend money unnecessarily. Anyone can make a mistake. What separates good companies from bad ones is how they handle it. My experience was that once the contract was signed, customer satisfaction was no longer a priority. I won't be using this company again, and I wouldn't recommend them to friends or neighbors.

They installed the system in our sump pump pit. After the installers left, our sump pump was not working and the pit was filling up with water. I reached out to Joe, our salesman and left messages for him. My husband called one of the installers and said the sump pump is not working and we are worried that our basement will flood. His response: Maybe you need a new sump pump! No offer to come and look at the installation! Finally my husband got a hold of someone the next day (Joe never did return my calls) and a different installer was sent out. Guess what? We did not need a new sump pump! The installers had the float stuck under the system and it was repaired. Second issue: We were left a second radon test to do after the installation. It was mailed in on August 6, 2025 and we never received the results of that second test. I called Protect Environmental on August 26 and was told that Joe would call me back. Guess what?
