Lucas was a life saver today!! I always try and warm up my car each morning before work but this time I let my sister do it and she locked the car with the car running! I googled an emergency locksmith and I found these guys. They picked up on the 3rd ring and was told they'd send someone right away. It was a rainy day with lots of traffic so they took a little longer to arrive but I was kept informed and updated on their location pretty frequently which is good considering I was freaking out. Once Lucas arrived he was very friendly and upbeat considering it was early in the morning :). He explained how the process would work and in less than 3mins my car door was unlocked. If there had not been any traffic I would have made it to work on time as they are very quick at responding. Totally will use them again in case this happens to me or any friends and family. If I could negative stars I would!! So beyond pissed at these liars. I locked my keys in my car. They gave me a price over the phone a $15 fee just for someone to show up and $45 to actually get the job. Now mind you the lady on the phone told me this was the total NOT an estimate. So the man shows up and before he opened the door says it's going to $125 to open it, I told him the lady over the phone told me $60 total. He then proceeds to tell me it's a Honda accord it will be this much, I'm outside with my two young children waiting to get in the car and get them to daycare and go to work. So what am I going to do? Unfortunately pay the ridiculously high fee so I can get on with my day. Then when all is said and done he hands me the receipt to sign, it's says $125+$15. I said what the fuck you told me $125 total! I called in to the office to complain and the lady could care less. But it gets even better, I check my bank account the next day to find out they charged me $196!!!! I'm a single mother of 2 living in high pricesd California on minimum wage, I don't have bottomless pockets or disposable cash!! Still waiting to here back from the supervisor who won't be in until Monday. Horrible horrible place, liars and thieves. Get someone to do their job correctly and give out prices correctly!!! These guys are basically con artists as far as I'm concerned. They were very punctual which was good and I'll give them 1 star for that. They had to replace a mailbox lock for me. The technician just started working really fast without really talking to me about what he was doing or the cost. I asked him several times how much it would cost, what the service charge was, etc. and I just got several really vague, mumbled answers. Finally, I just told him to STOP and explain what he was doing and the charges. He eventually told me it would be $110 for everything. He finishes the job in 6 minutes and hands me a bill for $250. He told me the lock itself was $110. I looked up the EXACT same lock on my phone at LOWES.com while he was standing there and it was $8.99. At that point I laughed and said, thanks for drilling out the old lock but I'll go ahead and just buy and install the new lock myself. He said he already installed the lock and couldn't undo it. IT WAS ONE NUT AND TOOK A TOTAL OF 30 SECONDS!! I reminded him how he told me the total would be $110 and he claimed he must have misunderstood (english wasn't his first language). Finally he calls his manager and his manager said what price would it take for us to just walk away from it as is and call it a day. The whole thing just seem really shady like a scam they have rehearsed to take advantage of people in a desperate situation. There is no way an honest human being can charge over 1000% for a simple lock and still sleep at night. Buyer be VERY aware with these guys. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I, too, was quoted $25 for the service call and $50 for the work ($75 total). When the job was done, I was billed $120. My husband and I argued with the two workers until I finally had to leave. When I got home, I found out my husband had paid the full amount just to get them out of the house. When I called the company to try to resolve the situation, I got nothing but pushback. I told the guy that he had really bad reviews on Yelp. He said, "Yelp is bullsh*t. Total bullsh*t!" Hilarious that it says, "Mention Yelp and get 10% off." I tried to dispute the charge with my credit card company, but since my husband signed the receipt it was a done deal. read more

DO NOT USE THIS LOCKSMITH. I called them at 4:30pm on a Saturday, because I got locked out of my house. I was told by a AAA operator that I needed an "emergency lockout" locksmith. The guy from ASAP Locksmith, that came, reeked of marajuana. He had to drill my lock, then charged me $175.00. He spent less than 10 minutes at my house. It took him longer to come up with his story of why he was charging me $175.00, than it did for him to open my door. I called around on Monday to ask what other locksmith would charge for the same work, under the same circumstances. It averaged around $75.00. Also, when I got my statement, the bill was charged by AAA Services (the receipt I got said ASAP Locksmith), with a different phone number. It seemed like another attempt to be deceiptful. read more

I would like to update my 1 star rating to a 4 star. I was contacted by Danny and he was able to assist me with my issue. He refunded me the $94 that I was charged to replace a lock that was just changed 2 months prior. I appreciated his follow up. I would have given a 5 star from the beginning if I they had replaced the lock without charging me in the first place. Don't hire this locksmith. They quoted me one price on the phone. Then when the technician came out he told me it would be twice as much as all of the other locksmith quotes. Was here for less than 5 min. He did no work and insisted on a service charge. He argued with me about what his office told me over the phone. These guys charged twice as much as other locksmiths and offer poor service and misleading info over the phone to hook you into having the tech show up. He didn't want to do any work so he gave me an inflated price that I coulnd'nt accept and then hit me up for 30 bucks for his 2 min of BS read more

They arrived fairly fast but totally ripped us off. The guy couldn't pick a simple lock and had to drill out the lock. I think because it was Sunday evening and we had our small son with us the guy knew we didn't have much of a choice. Charged close to $300 to ruin our lock with his drill. We would have been much better off breaking a window to get inside and then getting the window fixed. I highly recommend trying someone else.
