Guys are amazing. They sold me a silicon called LPS. This is the greatest product I've ever tried. My front door locks have never worked this well even when they were new. My keys weren't working and after spraying that in my lock they work better than ever. If your locks are having difficulty with keys that you've used in the past, buy this product from these guys. Warning!!! Owner has anger management issues!! Beware!!! The owner of this company just tried to run me out the the drive-thru while in his work van. Laying on his horn like a maniac. Screaming out of his window that I was taking too long, revving his engine like he was going to rear end me. Sir, if you don't leave enough time in your day to stop for breakfast, that is your problem! As a pregnant lady, there is no way I would trust or allow someone with this type of outrageous temper or behavior into my home! Your home is your safe-haven, use someone else! New ownership with some great new friendly professionals. I went to the shop and they had exactly what I needed.

I had 2 duplicate keys made for my vehicle and neither of them worked. They won't even go into the ignition. After I took the keys back to them and they worked on it some more, I was told they should work now, but never worked. They told me that the keys needed time to "break in", whatever the heck that means. All I know is, when spare keys are made, they should work immediately. If they don't work right then and there, then they're never going to work. Anyway, I'm disappointed. Will find another locksmith. read more

These guys are fantastic! I will never take a key to a hardware store again. My mom tried to have copies of my house key made on 5 separate occasions and they never worked. She kept thinking she was bringing the wrong key. Then she went to Jay-Jay and BOOM! Key worked beautifully. I went over today to have a key copied for an older car (2003 Honda Civic) and they were able to copy the key and had me make sure the key worked. (Car started right up!) The price was incredibly reasonable (about $7 for 2 keys) - I thought it would be more. The guys that worked there were professional and polite. Jay & Jay Locksmiths has been around for over 30 years in the same location. I remember them from when I was a child. I have had duplicate keys made many times by J & J but last week, the keys just didn't work. They recut new keys.. these were not just regular keys but special "Sugar Skull" decorated keys that I just had to have. They ordered another 4 keys for me but explained the original key was so old they would need to make calibration adjustments to insure the keys would work properly. I decided it made more sense to have the 40 year old door knob and dead bolt rekeyed. Marco showed up on time, and when he took apart the doorknob the inner parts disintegrated from age. He installed a new knob, rekeyed the dead bolt to match and gave me my "sugar skull keys" all working in my newly rekeyed locks. Pricing was a bargain, Marco was pleasant, skilled and fast. I am happy and secure beyond belief. I no longer have to worry about coming home and not being able to open my front door. read more

Needed to make copies of my car key to keep on-hand in case I lock my keys in the car. Another place didn't have the right type of key but recommended this place. Parking was easy right in front. This place had the right specialized key, and the price was very reasonable--less than $4 (the key won't actually start the car, but will unlock the doors). The guys working there were very friendly and helpful. They only accept cash for purchases less than $10. Would definitely recommend and will definitely use them in the future! read more

I went here yesterday to make a copy of the mailbox key for my house. I've been several other places to try with this key but each time I was told just a simple "no we can't make that key." These guys are the nicest locksmiths around! They have friendly and expert service. I told them that I had my house key copied 3 times at Home Depot, Lowes, and Wal Mart and none of the keys worked. They were able to make me key that worked perfectly and they gave me a keychain for free. I will no longer be going to those big store chains to get my keys made.
