Only made one set that I dont even know will work or not, and then he came to a conclusion saying that my keys are way too warm out when ever They are COMPLETELY BRAND NEW KEYS, and he wont make them when he already made one set! Save yourself your time and go some where else that where they show appreciation coming into their business! Dont recommend this place!

And there he was, in the flesh. The Great Magdonal. I clarified my needs, he gave me his price, and business was done. Key was copied. And an invitation to return was extended to me. And I accepted. Every time I have visited MAGDONAL's lock and key, the Great Magdonal hasnt been present. Today I visited for some quick house keys copied, and again--no Magdonal. I vented my frustration to one of MAGDONAL's highly trained ninja Jedi assistant sensei locksmiths, and he explained that Magdonal trained all staff rigorously, so that in his absence all customers would be in good hands. He also clarified that Magdonal had his staff in place so that Magdonal could spread the lock and key gospel to the people of the world. What is a lock, with no key? What is a key with no lock? The lock/key yin/yang sermon. Without one, the other is useless. I realized I was being selfish and did not want to impede on Magdonal's mission. Staff was great. Quick, competent, and pleasant. Boom boom boom. Keys copied and color coded on a Saturday. And they clarified that Magdonal works in the mornings, which made sense because I don't think I'd visit in the mornings. A young Armenian guy came by and brought his tools. I told him my situation and the door being…read morelocked. He just looked at it and told be it will be $250 to have it unlocked. He didn't check to see if the broken key can be remove. He just grab out his drill and ready to just drill it through the keyhole. For $250 I expect him to put in some kind of effort to have it open without destroying the lock. I refused the service and this is when he begins to bargain with me. I told him it was a lot for just drill out the lock. He didn't even attempt to pull the door or ask if I have the other broken key. He called his boss if the price can be lower. He said $220, $200, $170, $150 plus service fee. I told him I won't need his service anymore and would pay his service fee. He sat their and said "do you think this job will be free?" I told him no and here's is your service fee for coming out here. Right before he packed his tool he throw me a final offer of $100. I still refuse. I paid him the service fee and he left with disappointment. In the end I use a dime and turn the lock and it open. The broken key is jammed inside but it could be turn just by any dime size tool. It just needed to be turn. If your going to fork out $250 to have it unlocked he better be putting some effort to earn that $250. Drilling it through is too easy. Bargaining by the price sound like a buy a car. This place I do not recommend at all. It should be name "We drill or we go"

He maintained clear communication with me throughout the entire time he was onsite and explained what work was feasible versus not as well as provided alternative recommendations. There was no "upselling," so another star for that. Prices are for the most part reasonable. However, beware, they charge an upfront of $95 callout fee, which I was not informed about initially when I was scheduling the service appointment. The lack of transparency on this was the only part that left a bit of a sour note for me. I'd use their service again though.

Not only are they locksmiths, my attorney told me they are experienced with tenant lockouts…read more I was dealing with an extremely ugly situation in which an aggressive ex-tenant was supposed to move out by 1:30 PM. We were to reconvene in court at 2:30 PM for her to return my keys. I asked Isaac to send someone to the site at 2:45 PM so I could have the locks changed immediately. I texted Isaac, who immediately responded and connected me with an available technician. The tenant did not move out by agreed upon time, but Oscar was punctual. I was sitting in court, stressed to the maximum because I absolutely wanted the locks changed, but this horrid individual's movers did not finish moving for another 1.5 hours past the agreed upon time. Oscar is an absolute ANGEL. I can't believe he stayed on site and waited for an hour for the judge to make the official court order for the locks to be changed. I was about to have a conniption because I was afraid he would leave and I would not be able to get the locks changed. Oscar was a godsend and as soon as he received word that the court order was official, he started the process. By the time I arrived on site almost 20 minutes later, he was cleaning up and it was as simple as him handing the keys over to me. Oscar showed so much grace, even though the situation forced him to wait an extra hour. As someone who HATES waiting, I can only imagine how irritated Oscar had every right to be. Instead, he greeted me with a huge smile and assured me everything was fine. THANK YOU, ISAAC AND OSCAR! Because of you, I was able to sleep soundly for the first time in two months last night.
