The Monster Tower is my favorite
Noah V.

We've been coming here since 2018 and it's still one of our favorite places to eat. The service and food never disappoint.

Strawberry Crunch!

This place is absolutely the best food establishment in Cleburne. It's always fresh and the service is incredible. We will continue to support Asaka!

Ramen!!!

Okay Asaka! We see you, bringing ramen to Cleburne and killing it. Already a favorite spot for my family, but this is gonna be bringing us back more often for sure.

The food at this place was gross! We ordered sushi and my daughter had the chicken teriyaki. There was some really off paste they tried to pass off as tuna. My daughter's chicken had some sort of bones in it. The server was nice and attentive. That's about all that was good.

Hibachi shrimp and scallops

I decided to give Asaka a try for my birthday dinner with family after reading the good reviews. It was very disappointing and wish we would have traveled to DFW for a real hibachi experience. The hibachi did have a nice appearance but definitely the most bland I have ever eaten. I had to add a lot of soy sauce to make it edible. Several of my children ordered udon noodles and they were very bland as well. The fried rice tasted rancid and did not seem to be cooked fresh. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice but the waitress was very unprofessional, not friendly and poor service. My husband has a shellfish allergy and I was asking her a question regarding something on his plate and she was very rude about it. Overpriced for the quality of food received. We will not be returning and do no recommend.

Filet Migon, Shrimp & veggies. They were glad to sub more veggies instead of rice.

Cleburne desperately needs some good places to eat that aren't chain restaurants! We've been here twice, the first time we came it was great! Outstanding service and fantastic food. Second time, not so much! Our waitress was horrible, most of the time she was MIA. She brought our salad and soup AFTER she brought our meals only because we said something. We ordered the filet mignon, one of ours was rare, no it was blue rare. After waiving down a different waitress, the manager came over and offered to remake the steak and threw in a fried ice cream. I have to say after the service then the raw steak, the ice cream didn't really matter at that point. Cleburne is a tough crowd, if they don't get it together they'll be another one of the several places to close here. It's sad because this place can be so good.

Menu and beer

Friendly service, clean and pleasant interiors. Hand sanitizer on every table. Full bar with Asian beer options. We had the gyoza, which was flavorful and a good dipping sauce. The Spring rolls had good flavor but were too greasy and could have cooked a wee bit longer. We shared the hibachi filet. Steak was a bit over cooked but good flavor. The mushrooms were good, veg was laced with a bit too much sauce, but had a good texture. The fried rice was simple and underwhelming. It's nice to have for Cleburne, but not worth a drive to visit. Being fairly local, we will return and check out other menu options.

Don't know what it was but it was definitely NOT sushi. Rolls were made with minced 'something' that a crunch to it. Do not recommend.

My husband and I went to this hibachi place in Burleson on a total whim. Honestly, we didn't go in…read moreexpecting much, but we ended up having an amazing time. The food was cooked perfectly--everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We even tried a sushi roll, which was surprisingly great. The free sake was a fun touch for all the adults, though the hot sake we ordered was a little too artificial-tasting for me. Still, it went down smooth, so no complaints! What really made the night was the chef. He was hilarious and clearly loved what he did. His humor wasn't forced--it felt like he was genuinely having fun. The kids at our table loved the tricks, and the adults were cracking up too. The place was packed on a weeknight, which I think says a lot. It was loud but in a fun way, with that lively, energetic hibachi vibe. Ventilation was decent (important for a place like this), and the service was solid--friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I've always been a big fan of hibachi (I'll find any excuse to go), and my husband usually just goes along with it for me and complains later. But even he left saying this might be the best hibachi place we've ever been to--and we've been to a lot. We both couldn't believe it was in Burleson, Texas. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and want great food, a fun show, and an all-around good time.

Had the Ahi Tuna Tower, Dynamite and Rainbow Dragon along with soup and salad. All the rolls are very good and of good size. We were stuffed but very pleased when we left. The staff were friendly and always had a smile. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen with soy broth, pork belly, scallions, bamboo, diced onions, and an egg. The broth was the star for me. It had this deep, savory flavor with a little sweetness underneath, almost like the soy had been cooked down into something richer. Warm, comforting, and full of umami without tasting too salty. Every sip had that roasted, almost earthy depth that made me want to keep drinking it. The pork belly was ridiculously tender. Soft, juicy, and rich, with just enough fat to make it melt in my mouth. The egg was creamy and silky in the middle, and the bamboo and onions added some crunch and freshness to break everything up. Simple, warm, and really satisfying. This was exactly what I wanted from a bowl of ramen.

Instead, one came sickeningly sweet with an unlisted cinnamon syrup, and the other still had a strong cinnamon taste. When we questioned this, the server casually mentioned the cinnamon syrup--something not disclosed on the menu. I had to specifically ask her to take one back rather than her responding promptly. Next, they brought our sushi rolls, but no plates, no soy sauce, and not even dishes for dipping. We had to ask for all those basics. I specifically chose two rolls without cream cheese--because I don't want cream cheese in my sushi--and yet one still had it. The server's response was to chat with a manager but not to offer any solution, compensation, or correction. Overall, if a menu lists certain ingredients, that's what should arrive. Adding things like cinnamon in a drink or cream cheese in a roll--especially when people might have dietary needs--is careless. They need to be more attentive to both the menu and the customer's feedback.

Then a couple of years ago, the food quality and preparation dropped. Additionally, the service was inconsistent and often chaotic....Hooked was no longer one of our local favs BUT....SO Happy to report that Hooked On Sushi is BACK! I've been 2 times in the last couple of weeks. The first thing I noticed were improvements made to the interior (new booths, new padded chairs, glassware, lighting- looks very nice!) I enjoyed a teriyaki chicken bento box, which included miso soup and salad with delicious sesame ginger dressing. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender sauced perfectly. The teriyaki sauce was house made and is available mild or spicy. The bento box included 2 gyoza, 4 pc. Ca roll, tempura and rice. Today I had sushi (rainbow roll) and spicy tuna hand roll. Fish was super fresh, very tender! New owners committed to great food and great service has put this great place back on our FAVORITE LIST! Thanks, Hooked on Sushi...see you SOON!

Crazy. That honestly could've fed two people easily!

The prices are a bit high compared to a big city with lots of competition but not having to drive 50 miles to a big city helps offset the cost. I was with 3 other people, 2 of the others were taking out the other one and said they would pay for their meal because it was their birthday but weren't going to pay for mine because they said I eat too much at sushi places :-) That's okay because I always feel like I should order the cheapest stuff if someone else is paying for it. I didn't have to worry about how much it cost and I wasn't looking at the prices. Everything all of us had was great. I only had sushi but others did have other things as well. My sushi was all fresh tasting. This was lunch time on a Wednesday. Turns out the tab for the other 3 people was 65.25 and mine was 65.26 so guess they were right!
