Tried Asado Pocha after a friend recommended it and left really happy with the meal! The inside is a little cozy, but there's a small patio that looks like a nice spot to sit when it's not too hot out. They also have a big TV inside, so I could see this being a good place to grab food and watch a game. We ordered their signature asado and the ceviche, and both were delicious, especially for the price. These days, I usually expect a BBQ meal that fills up two people in LA to run over $100, so I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions for what we paid here. The meat quality was great too. I'm not sure exactly which cut it was, but it seemed like a rib cut, and it was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. Our server was friendly, and we left full and satisfied. Definitely a place I'd come back to! read more

I recently had the chance to visit Asado Pocha during lunch and decided to try their Chimichurri Steak. The restaurant has a modern and cozy atmosphere, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The football-themed décor adds a unique touch, and I can only imagine how lively it must have been during the FIFA World Cup. It's a shame I missed that experience! As for the food, it was excellent. The portion was incredibly generous and definitely worth the price. The steak was tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. As a beef lover, I really enjoyed every bite. This was my second time visiting, although it's been a long time since my first visit. I'm happy to say the food is just as good as I remembered. My favorite was the picanha. It was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and served in thick, juicy slices. If you order the set for two, it also comes with cheesy baked rice, potato salad, beet salad, and chips, which made the meal feel complete. I also loved the three different sauces, and I thought it was a nice touch that they served kimchi on the side to help balance the richness of the meat. The whole meal felt surprisingly fresh and well-balanced. - Also have variety of tab beers ! (Coors , asahi , modelo etc) The owner was very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Perfect for a weekend lunch! Even though it was the weekend, they still offered their lunch special, which made it a great value. We tried both the chimichurri and asado, and both were delicious. The asado was more tender, while the chimichurri had a chewier texture with a richer beef flavor. The lunch special portion was just the right size for one person and very reasonably priced. The cheese balls were also a standout and definitely worth ordering. Another plus is the dedicated parking lot and the ability to watch soccer games while dining. Definitely a 5/5... great and healthier alternative to your classic fried drunk food that makes you feel terrible the following morning. The two meat combo was fuvking amazing, definitely get the picanha and asado for the choices of meats. Seats are limited, but my family often gets takeout from here and we always enjoy it. The asado is delicious and full of flavor. There have been a few times when the portion of meat was a bit inconsistent or the asado wasn't at its best, but most of the time we've had great meals. A solid asado place! The place only has a couple of tables inside but it looks cozy and it's got TVs so I think you can catch live games here while dining. I got their lunch special for to-go and everything was great. The meat was juicy and the rice was surprisingly tasty! Good portions too. Got to chat with the owner a little bit and I could tell he was serious about serving good meats and making the place enjoyable for his customers. Omg omg omg ... the asado ... that's the only thing I can say. It was soooo good. We were looking forward to trying this place and it was worth the wait. The star here is the asado of course. This place is amazing for authentic Latin American BBQ with Korean beer soju and sides. The Asado is bomb and plentiful for the price. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. He gives great service. The ambiance is great with big screen TVs to watch all the sports games especially soccer and baseball. All the memorabilia on the walls are cool to browse and look at. originally found this spot because i was craving ceviche around my area after a stressful work day. pleasantly surprised that this was a grill AND they had ceviche as an app, perfect for the summer! my boyfriend and i pulled up in the evening with no difficulty finding parking in the lot on 6th st. they had an LAFC game playing on one of the two giant TVs while we enjoyed our food, can't imagine how crazy it must have been during the WC this year the establishment has an outdoor seating area but also includes a smaller, indoor area to dine in. the interior decor was littered with all sorts of soccer jerseys and CDs, which was a refreshing sight to see in ktown! the owner was a chill yet fun guy, and he introduced us to the menu promptly after seating us. we decided to try one of their combos (i forget exactly what it was called, but all of them were named after different genres of rock/metal music which is cool!) that included an asado plate, cheese rice, beet salad, ceviche, cheese balls! we couldn't forget a drink either so we shared a bottle of Saero, but they have other options including flavored soju! the ceviche hit the spot. it looked like they only served one kind of ceviche, which had shrimp and octopus (shellfish allergy beware!) but it was great paired with some chips, salsa, and chimichurri on the side. the asado plate was massive for the 2 of us but we were able to complete it with some ease. the meats paired with grilled kimchi, yucca, and chiles were delicious--perfectly seasoned and if you wanted, add some salsa on it and make it extra tasty! the owner actually offered some malagueta chiles on the side, which my boyfriend reaaally enjoyed since he has an inhuman affinity to all things extra spicy. i had to ask for an extra serving of those after he demolished the little sample of it we'll be back with more company soon, this was such a delight to discover! thank you for the warm service and awesome food! read more

Tried this place for the first time today and really liked it. We were going to get the asado, but one of the staff recommended the pichana and it was a great choice. Super juicy, flavorful, and portion was perfect for two. There was a variety sauces which all paired really well with the meat, and all the sides were really good too. Service was great, everyone working there was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Parking was easy, plenty of spots in the lot in the building (a big plus in Ktown). Every time I walked by this place I thought oh I have to try that and I'm so mad it took me so long to go. The food is incredible and such a good deal for what you get. We did one of the BBQ combos which comes with beet salad, potato salad, cheesy rice, cheese balls, ceviche and chips, yucca, kimchi, and then there's a ton of veggies and sausage that come with whatever meat you order. Oh and beer or soju come with! Literally what more could you ask for? Sitting outside is such a nice atmosphere and the staff is great. I'm surprised this place isn't packed 24/7 but I'm glad because that means there will be a table open for me. read more

I top my meat with their buttery homemade mashed potato salad, fresh tangy salsa, a piece of grilled garlic, dress it with their special sauce... Maluco Beleza! Don't forget to take a bite of their Grilled Jalapeño! It adds a nice kick to the flavor. They had a new menu that day, which was grilled scallops and shrimps in a special creamy corn sauce on a shell. I felt like a mermaid eating this. Paired so well with their white wine. If you love grilled beef, this place is a must. The Classic Asado came sizzling with juicy short ribs, sausage, and tender beef, all perfectly cooked and smoky. The asado plate was amazing! the beef was super flavorful and paired so well with the yuca, kimchi, asparagus, and onions. Such a good combo. The ceviche was fresh and sooo good with their hot sauce! I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. If you enjoy asado, this is definitely a place I highly recommend. The meat was incredibly flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. If you want quality that's reasonably priced then look no further. been a huge fan of Aca grill for the longest but this place actually has a dining area. Pretty cool vibe as well. Meat is cooked on a smoker outside and it gives a backyard bbq feel. Add the stellar service and you got yourself a hidden gem. Go now while it's still relatively unknown cause pretty soon it'll get crowded. We ordered the asado + 3 empanadas, the rancheros asada, chimichurri skirt steak and ceviche. Everything was on point. Owner, Robert, was very nice. All of the employees were extremely helpful and kind. Had a party of 3 and Robert and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. We ordered the Asado combo and it was definitely the best we've had in Ktown. We also got the steak which was huge and very good. I recommend that everyone try this place. The ambiance is nice and Robert gave us the remote to turn on whatever game we wanted to watch. Soju is also cheaper here than most other pochas. Try it out, you won't regret it.
