All told Artisan was a great company to work with. We are very happy with the final results. Work done: Rear patio floor,deck and built-in BBQ structure demolished and replaced. Front of house and Rear of house iron gates replaced with new custom wooden gates built and installed Old landscape lighting re designed and replaced with new units The staff at Artisan were patient, communicative and all highly experienced. The same goes for the sub contracted vendors they brought in. As with any job there were some bumps in the road but all corrections were dealt with in a timely manner and adjusted to my liking. Artisan's mission is clearly to deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism. They handle everything whether the work being done is by their staff employees or a company they subcontract to do a portion of the work. The homeowner can really step back if they wish to. For this high level of service you pay for it. Artisan's bid was priced higher than other vendors' bids and they would not negotiate. They are far from the cheapest BUT in the end I am happy I decided to spend more mostly because having one skilled company execute a project from beginning to end was, for me, well worth it. read more

Artisan Outdoors was a pleasure to work with from start to finish of our yard project. Everyone involved was professional, enthusiastic and helpful. We initially met with David and explained what our ideas for the front and backyards were. The planning stage was meticulous and they really emphasized making sure we were happy with Robyn, the designer's plans and were extremely accommodating of any changes. Robyn and David were very helpful when working with our HOA and following their requirements as well. They were also cognizant of our budget and made sure to give us options so we would be within our budget. I wouldn't recommend this company. They have one guy who is good but you will not get him as he doesn't work on the projects himself. Instead they assign you someone else. The process of communicating the need for our project was very difficult. A lady responds to your calls who is unable to understand your request and just simplifies and generalizes everything you tell her, seemingly because she may not know much about the work. It was frustrating to communicate with her as she continued to repeat the same thing without incorporating our input and need. It took 10 minutes for her just to take down our name and address. Very slow, inefficient and unknowable. Overall not a great sign. Sadly, can't recommend. read more

This is wayyyyy past due and I apologize to Artisan Landscape. We wanted to hire a professional landscape company to design our front and back yard which was going to be a huge and $$$ project. We met with a number of landscaping companies and decided to go with Artisan. We had such a nightmare experience with our home remodeling project that we hoped for a better experience with our landscape project. From the time Chuck and Roger came to explain what they can do for us, giving us options and ideas, the actual work, to the very end of following up how the trees and plants were growing, it was a 5 star experience. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable, and I really liked how I could work with the designer on the trees and flowers/plants I wanted. The workers came in early at 7am every day from OC and worked so hard and diligently. Extremely reliable and nice people. It was a breath of fresh air to see a home project go so smooth. Chuck oversaw the entire project and always worked with us to make things we were happy with things. Now that it's spring, our flowers are blooming and people are always complimenting our front and back yard. We even see people come by taking pictures of our front yard from the sidewalk. Our backyard was not easy to work with but they made it happen and our son and dog can run around all the want. We have the underground irrigation system, sprinklers and night landscape lights that automatically turn on and off. They did a lot more but don't know how to describe it all. The pavers and stone that was done in the walkways and patio were done so well, we had no idea of what could be done so glad we put it in the hands of these professionals. Overall, the project was on-time, on budget and 200% customer satisfaction. Now that is a successful project and we could not be happier! Thank you team at Artisan! read more

We were referred to Jim at Artisan Outdoor by an arborist who came to diagnose an issue we were having with some of our trees. Once we determined the solution we needed, we tapped Jim and his crew to put in a four line drip watering system, plant healthy new trees where some had to be removed and replant three drip pots with some beautiful new plants. Our home is 50 years old. The tree roots began to lift the sidewalk and made it difficult to mow the grass. All the landscaping was overgrown and hard to trim. We knew we wanted a more modern look and an easier to maintain front yard. Plus, we wanted a yard that was more drought tolerant, using less water and requiring less maintenance. Artisan Outdoor was recommended to us by a friend, and we also received bids from other landscapers featured in local home magazines. The Artisan presentation exceeded our expectations, first, by sending a team to our home that included the Designer, Landscape Planner, and the President. They were professional, courteous, and listened carefully to our concerns, wish list and budget. Within days, they had a design plan which they presented to us on a zoom call. That was followed by a visit from the team to our home, discussing all the particulars about the project, a timeline, and line-item pricing. We were good to go, and the work started immediately. They took care of all the permitting and the demo work was underway. Every day the workers were here before 7:00 am, ready to begin. And every evening they stopped a few minutes before they left to clean the area and put everything away. It was impressive, not only to us, but all our neighbors. The finished product was just as promised in the original presentation design. And the follow-up with their staff has been superb. If we could give more than 5-Stars, we certainly would. We made a great decision on something that we'll appreciate for many, many years. I regret that I didn't take a few "before" pictures in a similar manner as the "after". But it can easily be seen by what is uploaded, what a transformation has been made. I was referred to Artisan Outdoor by a garden planner, as one of the garden styles this company plants is an English Garden. When it came to the day of the planting, they did it in one day, as well as put down two small areas of sod. The workers were professional, did a great job of cleaning up afterwards, and made sure I was happy before they left. Chuck, the field manager, has been great about checking back to make sure I was happy, and that things were doing well. I had a couple of problems with some of the sod, and he made certain that it was replaced immediately, and helped me to understand how much to water, how often, etc. I highly recommed Artisan Outdoor for your landscaping and planting needs--they are a great company and have wonderful people who work with you to make sure what you envision becomes a reality. read more
