This is the most unprofessional companies I have ever had any interaction with. My washing machine stopped working with a full wet load and the door won't open and cycle won't run. I have a home warranty policy so I submitted a claim. It was assigned to Artin Electronics. I called them after it was assigned approximately 9:15am and the male person answering the phone must have been baby sitting because there was a screaming baby right into the phone. The male person said he would check the warranty request and call me back. At 2:30PM I called back, got voice mail that the mail box was full and good bye. I waiting about 10 minutes and called again. this time I got the same male and he said again he would call me back after he looked at the schedule. Still no call back, so I called again after 9AM the next morning, got the same male person and he told me to stop calling he was busy. I have contacted my warranty company and they also just get his full voice mail. If I could give minus stars I would. read more

Was told it was 95$ just to come,as soon as he stepped inside , before even looked at Refrigerator said it would be $275 . It was a Got You Moment. ! Give him 95$ and send him on his way or pay $275 to fix refrigerator said ok I helped him fix the drain that was stop up . Said he didn't have part to fix ice maker, would be back . I called ever day ,for a week finally he came back ,said to give him two ,and never returned. Later on received a phone call,saying it would be another 100$ for the part if I wanted it fixed. I found out a few days shy of Christmas that my wife was getting me a second generation Apple TV (hoorah!). Unfortunately, it was HD only, which means it wasn't going to work with our 27" SD TV. Damn. So, I found an HD TV on craigslist for $45 that ONLY needed a new projector lamp...an amazing find. I bought it and started calling around to different electronics stores. This was all happening on December 23rd. The best I could do was find people who were willing to order the lamp for me, which I could easily have done myself on Amazon.com. I was going to do this if I couldn't find anyone local, actually. I found Artin Electronics on superpages.com through a Google search, called up Raz and found out that yes, he had the lamp in stock! After negotiating a very reasonable price, I pulled the old lamp out of the TV, stopped by an ATM for some cash and headed to Burbank. It took 20 minutes for him to install the new lamp in the lamp housing, and I was on my way home. I set up the TV in place of the old, popped in the new projector lamp and it has been working great since! They definitely deserve five stars. They came out to do work covered by warranty on our LG washer. Communication was excellent. Called me as soon as they received the request, asked for some info on the washer, ordered the parts, told me they would call when the parts came in, they did call and scheduled the visit for the next day, called me when on the way to our home, and the work was excellent. I was so excited to have Razmic of Artin Electronics recommended for repairing my Samsung Refrigerator's clogged defrost drain. He said he had the solution that would last for a long time. He was hard to pin down for the first appointment, but, $175.00 later (this was the 4th time I tried to get this fixed) he said it was good to go. About 4 weeks later the drain is clogged again, which I thought, ok he guaranteed his work I'll just make another appointment. Again very hard to get a hold of him. As I type this he told me he would be here after 12noon (3/31/21) it is 5:07pm and he has not answered his phone or responded to texts. I get the distinct impression he is blowing me off. It is so rude and inconsiderate. I couldn't do anything thinking I would miss my appointment. Now I am back to trying to find a reliable, experienced Samsung Repair Company that will not try and rip me off. read more

How is it unfair, you work for the warranty company. You had horrible communication, and you stated 4-5 days for repair. The facts are you didn't communicate and took almost 4 weeks to make the repair. That's horrible service when you are the one without the refrigerator. If i could give NO stars i most definitely would. This is the most unprofessional company (if you can even call it that) that I've ever encountered. We purchased insurance thru Home Depot and when our fridge broke after only 2 years this "company" was sent out to repair it. There was a leak in the back portion of the fridge and all they did was semi seal it with silicone. The problem persisted over the next couple of weeks. When we contacted them again they said that the tech had ordered parts and were waiting on them with no eta on arrival let alone a date on when it would get fixed. Meanwhile my food is going bad every week because of the problem. The tech NEVER said that parts were needed. When he left the house we assumed the problem was fixed. When i called them again the man that answered was completely unprofessional and rude. He kept cutting me off and kept threatening me with hanging up since i was asking for a supervisor. Then he continued by saying that he was the supervisor and there was no one else i could speak to. My mom had spoke to him earlier and he clearly remembered her and started complaining about the fact that she didn't speak English when she most definitely does (has a slight accent). I guess these guys are good if you have a really simple problem. I had a LED tv that just went dark one day, called these guys up and a tech was out within a few hours. He disassembled the tv, said it needed a new board and he'd let me know in a day or two. (Although he pocketed my iPhone on his way out which alarmed me. He said he thought it was his, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on that one but it was awkward and a bit weird having to have a technician hand you your own phone back from his pocket!) I got a call saying the price he was finding for the board was high and he was looking to get it cheaper for me. Hooray!!! I thought. He then fell off the map for nearly two weeks without any contact. I called to check up and then got a call saying they had the part, it was priced, all good to go. They came out to install the new main board, and the tv wouldn't work. They ended up taking it back to the store to check it out. That lasted about a week or so, and then I was told that actually it's the LED panel and it's not fixable at all. He said he would drop it back off for me in a day or two. I didn't hear from him for another several days so again called to check up and he apologized for being busy and said things were 'hectic' so I said fine, i'll just pick it up. I picked it up and was charged $45 for the month long process of not fixing my tv. I understand they have a $45 service call, but they also said it would be absorbed by the final repair, which they told me they could readily complete. I expressed discontent considering all the above factors and again an awkward moment when I was asked if i wanted to talk to the other technician and sort it out. Umm?? What? How would that help at all? I told the guy he should do what he feels is fair and just here and out came the bill. I really think considering the fact that the first guy almost walked away with my iPhone, then disappeared for two weeks, then the second guy dropped the ball for another two weeks and after it all I was told to look on craigslist for the same model with a good panel and other issues and they can Frankenstein mine back together at some point a discount should have been offered as a courtesy for a month's worth of following up on a never possible repair. The guys do seem nice, but I was left with a pretty poor experience here. read more

I have an older rear projection Mitsubishi that went out on me. Was getting a blinking power light that several review sites were calling the "green blinking light of death". I called and talked to Eddie, who came out the next day and fixed it in less than an hour for $200. I was ecstatic! After thinking I was going to have to replace it, I was really stoked. This is a TV that cost me a small fortune so I was not looking forward to replacing it. But Eddie showed up on time, was a total professional and he fixed my ancient TV for a fair price. Horrible experience so far. This company was contracted through my Home Depot warranty to fix my refrigerator and i can't say much about the repair because they have failed to show up to my scheduled appointment. They were initially scheduled to show up on a Thursday of last week and they called and asked if they could come Saturday between 8am-12pm instead. I reluctantly agreed. Saturday at 10am arrived and no one had called or showed up, so I called to see if they were still on schedule to show up and the person who answered said yes and that the tech would call me 30 mins prior to arrival. Well now it's 1:30pm and no call and no arrival, so I call back and keep getting sent to voicemail. I finally call Home Depot to complain and they call this company to find out what happened, and guess what!? They answered Home Depot's phone call right away and claimed we had scheduled service between 12pm-5pm and that they were definitely coming. Well I spent my entire Saturday waiting for them to show up or call and they didn't. Felt completely ignored, which is completely unprofessional. I did them a favor by letting them inconvenience me by pushing my appointment only to not have them show up on the next scheduled appointment. It is now the following Monday and they call me at 11:30am asking if they can come by at 2pm...really?? Yes, I don't have a job or anything else to do but wait around for when it's only convenient for you! I'm complaining to Home Depot today about contracting your company for services when you can't even keep your appointments as promised and for lack of customer service! read more

One of the WORST and most UNPROFESSIONAL experiences I have dealt with. Filed a claim through Home Depot Protection Plan for a non-working water heater. This "company" was assigned to come out and do the repair. In a million years did I imagine Home Depot would contract with companies who don't answer the phone, answer and put you on a 10+ mins hold or ask you why are you calling them every single time. Dealt with this company almost two weeks until the owner told me I needed to file a new claim because the previous claim had been closed. He added to "do him a favor" and tell Home Depot he had already come but had to return because the water heater was still not working and this way he would get some money for the mileage. I called Home Depot to report this company for FRAUD and UNETHICAL practices and thankfully got routed to a company who came out within two days. I hope Home Depot removes this company from their subcontractors list and if you're simply trying to find an appliance repair look elsewhere. Save yourself the headaches and frustrations of dealing with lying and fraudulent companies. read more

The manufacturer said someone would be in touch with me and gave me an appointment for 4 days later. Within minutes of hanging up the phone with a representative from Artin gave me a call. He said he could come over sooner if I would like an earlier appointment. He followed up with me and showed up as expected. He was very polite and fixed the issue within minutes. Avoid this company. Was referred to them by "Assurant Solutions", a business dealing w/ extended warranties for GE appliances to fix my broken ice-maker. My Home Owner's Association (I live in a condo) requires service companies to provide proof of workers compensation insurance & their CA State Contractor's Licence before allowing them access to the building. I called & requested this info via fax/email to authorize their entrance to the building. Owner's response (Rasmik) - "I don't have time to do this. You only have a repair for an extended warranty..." SHADY! At this point I wouldn't let in my front door. Look for better service some where else. read more

My suggestion is to call these guys first if and when you have an electronics issue. The first guy wanted to put a "motherboard" into my 47 Inch Sony Bravia. He never told me there was a factory upgrade. then I called Artin. One of the Tech's, Eddie, came out and advised me that there was an "upgrade" which he came today and installed the upgrade. They are in Burbank, the fix was easy, and they are very knowledgeable, pleasant and courteous. I definitely would have these guys on my "to call" list in the event of necessary repair. This electronics store is amazing! I honestly can't even figure out why this place has negative reviews, but that is just their bad sense of opinion. My refrigerator broke down for some reason and I was in panic mode I have all this food in the fridge and freezer, i dont want it to go to waste. I took my TV in and I got it back the next day, the gentleman working there were very sincere and helpful to me. My experience couldn't have been better at Burbank's "Artin Electronics & Appliances!" I brought in my 32" Vizio HDTV that had been knocked out by a power outage at home. Even after going to Google for Q&A technical help sites that suggested unplugging (for hours!) the power cord and plugging it back in - nothing got the TV to work. I found & chose "Artin E. A." on "yelp" because their customer reviews were very good. Calling ahead, I was advised to bring in my TV, before their 6:pm closing, and they would charge me a very reasonable $15.00 for a complete diagnostics. The following afternoon one of their friendly staff informed that my darn TV had shut itself down and/or it went into a safety mode (I just don't remember exactly which) when my home's electricity was off. It was one of those things that had to be corrected by a trained technician and Artin has just that - a trained technician. And when I was told on the phone that the $15.00 diagnostics fee would be my total bill owed, I couldn't have been happier! I have to say that going in the day before I expected the worst - a power supply or a board that possibly fried, and to go along with that a big repair bill. So neddless to say my appreciation for Artin's integrity is "gi-normous" (dId I spell that right!? ha-ha). Everyone at Artin Electronics is courteous, knowledgeable and most of all - honest. If I could give zero stars I would. It's been years but I believe that I'm entitled for this review. I sent in my optoma gt750 for a bulb replacement. I ordered the replacement bulb for them but they said it was the wrong part so they suggest that they will order the part for me instead. So i said yes sure. I started calling them every week for an update and they kept on telling me that the part is not there yet. A weekly call turned into every 2 weeks until it turned into "leave us your number and we will just call you when it's fixed". MONTHS LATER, i have not receive one call from them about my projector so I decided to call them and ask for it back so I can send it somewhere else to be repaired. I forgot the person I talked to on the phone but when I called them for my projector, I was told that it was long gone and they SOLD it already. Ok so tell me this, how can you sell a projector that is not yours? You told me that you will order the part. You told me that you will give me a call when it's done. You sold my property without my consent. You admitted that you sold it and all you said was sorry and it won't happen again? Cmon now! I deserve a payment coz you sold MY PROJECTOR. read more
