    Legendary pork tenderloin!
    Diana K.

Family-owned and serving legendary pork tenderloin. First time here after finding it last year but missing the 2pm closing. Both of us got the large tenderloin sandwiches w/fries. The check came to just under $20 including a soft drink and coffee and well worth it. We'll make this an annual stop when we're in the area for a Bible conference.

Wonderful! Everything I hoped it would be. Hole in the wall in Indiana with "tenderloin" in the name. I don't know how to properly give this sandwich an apt description, but I'll try. The loin was thick, juicy and meaty. The breading somehow was separated from the meat by a tiny pocket of air which meant the breading stays crisp all the way from outside to inside. This is a "must try" place for anyone who loves the hole in the wall places. Hole in the wall to me means that the place has some grease in the walls and maybe even in the laminate bar top. That's my way of saying that some might be concerned about the level of cleanliness.

    The entire menu.

Prices- very reasonable Fare- diner food. Tenderloins, burgers & blue plate specials. Ambiance- quaint. Seating for 22 people. The booths are little so cozy up to the people you're with. This itty-bitty diner is a gem in the community. We visited Kokomo & found this place on Yelp. With "Tenderloin" in the name, I HAD to get one. It was a tense& juicy fairly thick cut of meat with the right amount of breading. It's not pounded out so thinly that it makes it obnoxiously large. It far exceeds the size of the bun, but it's completely manageable. Pork chops and baked steak were the specials of the day. My wife got the baked steak and it was a good cut of meat smothered in tasty gravy & served with mashed potatoes & sweet corn. One of my kids got the double cheeseburger & onion rings. The rings were very tasty. Fries were the side fare with the tenderloin that I & my other child ordered. Overall, this is a good little find. Many locals came through while we were there. The owners are the wait staff as well as the cooks. Support this local business!!

Small, old, questionably clean, but nice people. Food was pretty good. I may go back but I would not try to get my wife to go.

Liz was our server and she was very prompt and offered helpful insights about the menu. We started off with vegetarian mandu/dumplings. They arrived freshly fried and were delicious - the perfect crispy and with a delicious, smoky flavor. My boyfriend and I each ordered the japchae. This is one of my favorite Korean dishes so I was looking forward to trying it here but it was a bit disappointing for both of us. The server did provide the warning of the texture of glass noodles which can be quite chewy and that is why I like them. However, they were too sticky and stuck together in huge clumps. Rather than having veggies mixed in with the noodles, it was topped with them. It was also sweet, so I would recommend using the pickled banchan dishes to mitigate the sweetness. My boyfriend also thought his beef japchae was really sweet, too -- even the beef marinade. He wasn't the biggest fan. Neither of us would order that again (here) but we will probably come back to try other things. The dolsot bibimbop looks amazing! I also had the hibiscus passion fruit wine cocktail which I expected to be sweet but it wasn't really. It kind of just tasted like a simple red blend. It was okay. It has really intimate atmosphere and would be a great place for a romantic dinner

The one time we went we chose to do just that, but the grill seemed a little cool to achieve what we wanted and we didn't get anything seared properly. We wound up taking the steak fillet and the short ribs home to eat later. It was a unique experience to say the least and we will go again to try something new. Our appetizers, drinks and salads were almost enough to satisfy our hunger. Service was as close to five star as I've ever had. A little pricier than just about any other of our restaurants in Kokomo but nice for a treat or to impress a date.
