We ordered carry out. We got the cranberry bogg salad (with the bacon and chicken on the side because, I'm super picky), the garlic cheese bread, the super olive pie, and a sausage pie. We would've also ordered a meatball sub but they were out of meatballs. The only real negative I experienced was the bacon on the bogg salad, it was real bacon, but not crispy. I don't like that congealed fat taste on my tongue. I know it's "cooked", but it's not good. The chicken was very tasty. I was glad I ordered the bacon on the side. The ranch and blue cheese dressings seemed to be homemade and were super yummy! The pizzas were both excellent, I can't wait to order again. This thin crust is my husband's favorite, and the crust stayed crispy even for carry out. The garlic cheese bread and marinara were also excellent! You can tell they use real quality ingredients, and I really appreciate that. No need to order extra cheese, they don't skimp. They allow smoking. Kills the appetite. Good i would give it about a 2.5/5 not offensive but not good either. Service was only redeming quality server was nice and polite. I would of given the restaurant a 3/5 if there wasnt smoking. But since there was people smoking inside then brings my score to 0/5. read more

Went in based on the good reviews, hoping to have dinner and a similar experience. Nope. Sat at the bar, and the server was right over. She got the bottled beer I asked for and brought a menu. There were a few things that could have worked for dinner, but I guess they don't care for non-locals. One man, a fellow I took to be a manager or owner (wearing a Green Olive Pub t-shirt) stood right in front of me (he was behind the bar) and didn't say a word. Not, "Hello," "How's it going?" "Are you just visiting?" "Can I make a recommendation?" Nothing. Nada. Not. A. Word. While the cook seemed to do a pretty brisk business in pizzas, I was alone and that seemed like too much food. First time here. If you get a pitcher of beer it comes with a free 8'' pizza. The pizza is surprisingly damn good. Also they are known for giving olives with their beer. There are TVs to watch the games and music playing. I will be back. Small gem in Marion. Safe area! Also a full bar and cigarette smoking allowed!! While on vacation in Indiana my best friend and I found this place. We almost didn't stop because the outside isn't very impressive and the area didn't seem very nice. We threw caution to the wind and went in anyway. I am so glad we did! The food, pizza and side salad, was excellent! We were there on a Tuesday , which happened to be 1/2 off pizza day. Great little bar! I visited the Green Olive pub for the first time on Friday evening, and it was pretty good! Affordable and huge drinks, I ordered a strawberry bucket for 10$ and received a free chip for an 8" cheese pizza. They also had great lemon shake-ups in mason jars, too cute! I came back this evening and cashed in my pizza chip and also ordered 10 spicy wings for $9. The wings were good, but baked rather than fried. The pizza was nice and cheesy but pretty basic, not bad considering it was free! I'll definitely be back for the drinks, but probably would go to Don's Tap or Waylon's if I'm feeling hungry! read more

It's a smoking joint, so don't get your nose outta joint when you walk in and smell smoke. Just sayin'... There are some other items that you should be aware of at this local bar. You can buy an "ice tea" in a Mason jar and get a free pizza! But that's kinda where things end. The menu is VERY limited. So limited that many times they send someone to another restaurant to get food for the employees. Mostly bar appetizers. Drinks are good, stout, and the service is good. It's a good, local bar. The place itself is decent. Beware of the horrible draft beer they serve. It is guaranteed to give anyone the worst headache ever. You don't have to drink much of their nasty draft beer to feel the painful affects that follow from its consumption. The food is okay, but for the price of the food and drinks there you could have better for cheaper nearly anywhere else. To top things off the owner and staff at The Green Olive are less than hospitable as well as vindictive liars. So if you are in Marion and wanting to have a great time, great food, as well as a great staff that will do their best to please you try Waylons.
