We sat in a secluded area that honestly felt like we were on a boat. I got a Guiness on draft (because you HAVE to when you're at an Irish bar, right?). It was smooth and frothy. We got the pretzel bites and beer cheese (really good) and fried pickles. I got a french dip sandwich - which was on soft toast which made it really hard to dip in the au juis with fries (which were really cripsy and flavorful). Honestly, I've had better dip sandwiches so I wouldn't get it again however they have a very large menu and lots of Irish favorites. Will go back to the establishment for something else. Street parking- didn't see any private flat lot however there is a parking garage about a block away available. Service was good, no complaints.

Researching their website, we were convinced this was the place to be on our "chasin' racin'" weekend. My companion noticed that the clientele was quite diverse. I noted that also. We both agreed it was a sign of a thriving establishment. Autumn was our server and she was a lot of fun. Conversant, knowledgeable of the menu, and attentive, she was just great. One of my sides was a Caesar Salad. It was copious to the point that I could not finish it when it was appropriately brought out ahead of time. As a diabetic, I am concerned about carbs, but the Alaskan Whitefish grabbed me . While my plate was messy, I peeled off the coating and enjoyed the nice tender fish inside. In Tennessee, corn pudding is different than what they brought me, but it was wonderful. Bread pudding of the day was S'mores. I had my fill, brought home the rest and my family loved it. Local history was abundant. The menu held an article on local history and the lobby had many historic photos of local interest. I took many photos of them for remembrance. Chances are I will never return to Kokomo. But if I do go back. This is where I will dine.

(maybe it wouldn't be done) Next another question about grilled chicken vs fried on a salad. I know it can be done and WAS a few weeks ago. Again we were told they couldn't do the that and we would be charged for a sandwich on top of the salad for an extra cost to cut up the chicken! Third: I ordered the breadsticks which were so salty I couldn't eat them and Fourth, our lunch took nearly an hour to receive. We are changing our location for our luncheon for next month. Beers named 'Socks and Sandals, Pull My Finger, I'll Turn this Car Around' and many more. Their tin tacker is of a slightly obese dad in an undersized sleeveless shirt, headband and white New Balance sneakers riding a beer can. Perfection. Genius! While their humor got me in the door, their pizza and beer will get me to come back. I got my standard flight with I'll Turn This Car Around (Hazy IPA), Kiss the Cook (DIPA), Snooze Button (Imperial Stout) and a Tapestry of Obscenity (IPA). All were really great but The Snooze Button was my favorite of the bunch. We also got a couple of pizzas.
