    Ayurveda Lentil soup
    Smrithi S.

We were in Seattle on a Saturday morning and found this place to have brunch. We loved the vibe of the place with a lot of plants and friendly service. We were seated immediately. We got the Ayurvedic Lentil soup, Spring Garden Benedict, and Pork Belly Benedict. The Ayurvedic Lentil soup was amazing, we got it with chicken. I would skip the chicken next time, we would have enjoyed it even without the chicken. We loved the bread that came with it. I loved the Spring Garden Benedict, the charred asparagus, radish and tarragon hollandaise were amazing. I replaced potatoes with fruit bowl, the fruit was some of the freshest fruit we have gotten with brunch. The Pork Belly Benedict was also good. We will be back soon.

Decent brunch spot. Arthur's is an Australian inspired cafe and offers a variety of dishes for anyone looking to go beyond the regular waffles and pancakes breakfast. This restaurant is located in the North Admiral neighborhood in West Seattle. There's a mix of neighborhood, street, and pay-to-park options. I highly recommend the free neighborhood parking option. The vibe of this restaurant is a bright, airy, and full of foliage. The space is comfortable and perfect for the group or solo dining. Seating options are either booths, regular tables, high tops, and bar top. Their liquor collection is decent and they do have seasonal craft cocktails. Side note, they only accept reservations for parties of 6 or more. For brunch, I went with their shakshuka & thai crab cake. The dish had a delicious red curry tomato sauce with bell peppers, lemongrass, and garlic. There was small thai-style crab cake nestled in the center of the dish and topped with a poached egg. This was served with 2 pieces of toasted bread. The dish was amazing! The sauce paired perfectly with the crab cake and poached egg. The toasted bread was perfect for scooping up the curry tomato sauce. The portion size for this dish was on the smaller side and could just be an appetizer. I also ordered a KettleOne martini with a twist, which was properly made and served in a chilled Nick & Nora glass. Service was very friendly and prompt with frequent check-ins and water refills.

Food 3/5 I ordered the burger. It was honestly delightful. Not the best burger I've ever had but definitely something I would recommend on the menu. The fries are delicious. My mom ordered the fresh spring Benedict, which she really enjoyed as well. It was a little different. The sauce taste very fresh, but it was very enjoyable. I ordered the French toast. They were very delicious. Very yummy if you love coconut this is going to be your ultimate favorite French toast ever. my mom ordered the pancakes.. now that's a different story. We were expecting the pancakes to be very delicious cause obviously look at them. They look so delightful but I don't know if it was just the batch they made that day or if this is what their recipe is, we took a bite from the pancake and it felt like it almost fizzed in our mouth. I don't know if they put baking soda or something in their pancake mix but the pancake was honestly very terrible which was very upsetting because we specifically came to this location for their pancakes because they look so delicious. The plating is phenomenal, again I don't know if it was just the batch this day, but we were very disappointing. Service 4/5 Service was great. They are very nice although we did take a while to be ready to order the food but we did order drinks first. I think our server forgot to come check on us again, which is not a problem, but they could be a little more hyper aware of their tables. Ambience 5/5 This is definitely a really cute spot full of a lot of plants. Cute little place to get together for a quick brunch.

    Working on Classic Breakfast

Daughter working from home today & wife at a meeting in South Seattle, so I made the run to West Seattle to take her to lunch. I was just thinking of fast food but she suggested a neighborhood place she's been wanting to try for awhile. Walked the block to Arthur's and chose to sit outside as it was a nice day. Cute little place was doing a nice business; not busy but brisk. I decided on the Classic Burger, she got the Classic breakfast, and some kind of matcha latte, which she felt was overly sweet. California Ave traffic wasn't bad at that time so it was a pleasant sidewalk experience. Burger was great; she really liked her breakfast but had to take some home. Cute chirpy birds in the trees, luckily not overhead. She was happy to get a lunch break instead of just working through as usual. I'm sure she'll be back with her roommates soon.

Cafe with a cool vibe in West Seattle. Light, airy, with nice plants and artwork. (The bathroom is also pretty nice.) Our server was delightful and readily gave input when I was trying to decide between options. The cocktail offerings are unique. We had the Admiral Tropics (which was refreshing) and The Beet Goes On (earthy beet flavor). Both tasty but the alcohol seemed to be a light pour (which is fine for lunch). We started with the Brussels sprouts. These were delicious. Great char and flavor. The kofta and halloumi plate was nicely presented, but the kofta were in the dry side and it my companion commented that one would have expected two pieces of cheese to accompany two poached eggs. The mussels were very tasty, with a lot of broth. A spoon or more bread would have enabled my companion to finish it up. (Granted, he could have asked...) The Lebanese chicken sandwich was okay. The bread was good, nice slaw, and a sufficient amount of chicken, but it was on the dry side. The accompanying shoestring fries were delicious though. A nice cafe with good portions and everything is plated beautifully. Pricing is commensurate with other restaurants and street parking wasn't difficult to find. I would go again.

Bacon Sammie & side of fruit... usually comes with fries but I chose to upgrade.

From start to finish, the environment and atmosphere was amazing. Our server was very attentive and informative with their menu. I specially had the bacon sammie, which was phenomenal. The bacon jam wasn't so sweet which I loved, 10/10 on the sandwich. I just wish I had added the over easy egg to really complete the sammie. I hope to visit one more time before my trip ends!

What a delightful find while visiting West Seattle! Very welcoming and comfy place. Megan was spot on. Her knowledge of the menu items and easy going manner made the experience that much better. And the food! Brussel Sprouts topped the yummy chart, followed by Mac & Cheese bites and lastly the seasonal bread (this one had chocolate & berries). Would definitely come back! Thanks!

    Steak and eggs breakfast

This place was nice, vibe was modern and clean. Loved it's big so no 20 minute wait to be seated. Staff was super nice, accommodated every request. Food was great. The steak was outstanding. Tender cut, zero fat or gristle. I'm usually afraid to order steak since so many places get lousy cuts of meat to save money. This was cooked perfectly medium. Requested egg over hard and it was perfect. Nice touch the jam was house made, though $2 extra. Home potatoes were crispy. I'd come back, nice place.

    Lemon ricotta pancakes

Look at these lemon ricotta pancakes! They were good, y'all. I didn't even touch the syrup, the sweet pancakes, savory butter and ricotta hit the spot. And way to elevate it with the simple yet beautiful plating!

Are bottomless mimosas offered on weekday brunches? what time does weekday brunch end?

For the bottomless mimosas, I don't think so. For the brunch, I would guess like weekends... I looked on their website and can't really find the answer...…

Hi do you offer bottomless mimosas on the weekend- Saturday specifically? Thank you!

They were out of quite a few things by the time it was our turn, but they still had the old standard "chicken" so I figured it would be a good test to see how they stack up against Marie Calendar's. Initially I was a little concerned by the size. Would this be sufficient for a complete dinner? Cold winter night + COVID eating habits had me doubtful! Thank goodness I was wrong. The crust was flaky and rich and the filling was seasoned perfectly. It's much less "creamy" than Marie's version but it definitely has superior crust and flavors. I was satisfied.

They were parked up near Lord Lion Winery and after looking on Instagram, this is one of the few times they were on the Eastside so I took advantage of picking up a sweet pie! They have lots of savory options, but I was craving something sweet. They had a pecan pie, and a seasonal cherry peach with walnut streusel. I went for the seasonal option. It cost just $5, and was huge! The staff were fully masked and had a touch less pay system, as well as friendly. Once I got the pie home, I ended up splitting over 2 days. The cherries and peaches were jam packed into the fresh pie crust, and the fruit clearly fresh and packed with flavor. I'm hoping to try some of their savory and other sweet options soon. Wow I'm so happy I found this place! I hope they are back around East Seattle area more often!!

The chicken pie is so savory and it tastes like all the good parts of a chicken soup but without the soup haha. The chicken is ground and the sauce is creamy, going very well with the golden flaky crust. The beef and beer pie is the star. I don't even wanna tell people because it's that good, I wanna gatekeep this pie to myself. It sells out of the fridge first so I had to get some hot to go ;) the filling has large, tender, soft beef chunks cooked with the juicy filling that has a earthy, hoppy taste from the beer. It really adds something special to the flavor. Highly recommend trying this one hot in the store! Lastly, the 'just beef' pie was also super yummy, the crust is thin and buttery, and the insides were piping hot. It's the perfect pie and a good size for one to fill you up if you're a medium to small eater, and two will do it for you if you're a big eater and wanna be stuffed. The decor inside this store is so on-theme, it's cute and hilarious. Very Australian! Seating area is clean and the pastries inside the cold case are so very delicious.
