This was my first experience at Arthur's and it was very promising! We had originally planned to go to a different place for brunch, but that place is temporarily closed for construction so we ended up here. I got the Ricotta pancakes with eggs and bacon. The pancakes were light and fluffy - exactly what I want from ricotta pancakes. I got my eggs scrambled - my only complaint is that they could have used some more salt, which I was able to add myself. The bacon was cooked very well - thin and crispy, while not being TOO crisp. I enjoyed it enough that I will be back to try other menu items. My friend got the BLT Benedict. Eggs Benedict is her go-to breakfast item and she was not disappointed. While this one is far from a traditional benedict, she said it's the best benedict she's ever had. I got to try some and even as someone who doesn't like poached eggs it was a very good bite of food. The potatoes were also pretty tasty with some herb I could not identify immediately but I really liked whatever it was. The service was good. We showed up at about 1 PM on a Saturday and were seated immediately. Our server was attentive and we didn't have to wait too long for food. Really enjoyed our first visit to Arthur's. The menu features some very creative and healthy entrees; my wife had the Thai crab cakes and I had the Farro salad. Both were excellent. We collaborated with Arthur's to host a social mixer here for our local LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance chapter. We discussed that we were trying to hold a safe space for our community to gather and network. We were delighted to show up to a large reserved section of tables, swagged out in rainbows and welcome signs. Their menu is fabulous. Their staff was phenomenally attentive and great at their work. The energy in the space felt incredibly kind and inclusive. I will be coming back here without a doubt. read more

Came here on Saturday at 11am because they have outdoor seating. It wasn't super crowded, I was seated right away. My group of three ordered: mushroom benedict, BLT benedict, and french toast with bacon. Overall the food was tasty, but the portion was smaller than expected. The french toast with bacon only had 2 pieces of toast and some small bits of bacon. The mushroom benedict didn't have any bread (the portebello mushroom was the bread). The BLT benedict only had one piece of bacon. The highlight was actually the roasted potato side, they were pretty yummy and crunchy. Service was also really good. An excellent new (to us) restaurant in West Seattle: Arthur's. This place is a gem! It had a creative, eclectic menu with many healthy options (my husband and I both had salad bowls). The service is friendly and attentive and the restaurant is casual and affordable. Food is ok. But their prices are astronomical. Ordered out by phone. Was placed on hold for several minutes before I could order, and when I showed up they were dead slow. $25 after tax for a sandwich. They charged an extra $1 for takeout, and when I spoke with the manager saying I was unhappy about the extra charge they blamed the cost of the boxes (these boxes cost less than 5 cents each if you buy them in bulk). Not to mention it already costs less to fulfill a takeout order because they are paying less in labor for their servers. Manager was somewhat rude and didn't even acknowledge my concern. The way your staff handles feedback seriously impacts the satisfaction of your customers. If they had even acknowledged my concerns and not gotten defensive over it I may not have posted this review. Probably wont be back. Additionally they don't have ranch dressing. How can you sell salads and not have the most popular dressing available. read more

I don't get over to West Seattle nearly as much as I should. Arthur's was the perfect spot for a New Year's Day brunch with a couple friends. We got a table in about 30 minutes; luckily it was a lovely day, so standing outside was no big deal. After we were seated, we were promptly greeted by our server and she took our drink orders. The menu had so many tasty options! I decided on 2 blueberry ricotta pancakes and bacon à la carte. I expect to get real maple syrup from nicer restaurants and was disappointed to see that real maple syrup had an up-charge, wah wah! I saw Arthur's come up in West Seattle for brunch and was less than a half mile away so we decided to try it. We walked in and they were pretty busy but not full and we were seated immediately. Our waiter was sooo slow. If you asked him for anything it seemed like it was an automatic 10 minutes for him to come back. Our silverware, coffee, food, and bill all took forever to get. I got the bacon Sammie 2.0. It was ok, but seemed to be really over seasoned. It was a alright sandwich, but wasn't worth the wait that we had for it. I had a fried egg added to it but it was all on one cut of the sandwich and none in the other. I got potatoes instead of kettle chips and wished I had gone with the chips. This place has all the looks and feels of a modern brunch restaurant. The jazzy music, hip decor, and warm friendly smiling staff was very inviting and made for an overall good experience. The food was good, but wasn't the best brunch I've had. There was a shuffleboard in the middle of the restaurant and a bar off to the side for all y'all early drinkers. We started with a Chai Latte and a Flat White. The Flst white White was solid, but the Chai was one of the blandest I've ever tasted - very watery and no spice to it. For food we ordered the Avo Smash + Trout for $4 extra and Ricotta Pancakes + blueberries for $1 extra. It took a while for either to come out. The Avo Smash was a popular item so I was a bit surprised it didn't really blow me away, as it seemed like it was just a lot of ingredients put on a plate which didn't really work together that well...and the trout was really fishy. The Ricotta Pancakes we're good though! Definitely add the blueberries or some other fruit; it's worth it. That being said, I did love the staff. Cute succulents displayed in little porcelain pots on the wall, white subway tiles with gray grout, wooden chairs, beautiful stone counter and just a rustic chic feel for Saturday's brunch date with my sister! For brunch I ordered the Avo Smash- an avocado toast essentially, with a poached egg, some cherry tomatoes on a bed of lemony- spring mix lettuce. My sister ordered the BLT Eggs Benedict that came with sourdough bread (her favorite). She thought the avocado hollandaise sauce was too rich along with the potatoes and sourdough bread. I loved my avocado toast. It was light, tangy, refreshing and simple as is. Arthur serves bottomless mimosas for $15 which was tempting but I had to pass on that. My sister had a grapefruit mimosa to accompany her brunch. Overall I would say it's a cute date spot whether it's for brunch or for dinner. Best brunch spot in west seattle that we've found so far. Good for a little higher end than a diner but still reasonable (in this economy - joking of course) Breakfast bowl, classic brekkie and ricotta pancakes 9/10. I really loved the ricotta pancakes - felt less dry than other pancakes I've had. Their vanilla lattes are yummy hot or cold! The mimosas are always a fun weekend treat and taste amazing. The avo smash toast is good 8 or 9/10 but you must like Kale (they somehow made me love it, usually not a big fan of Kale). I'm a weirdo who prefers an avo toast without egg but it's good either way. Came here for brunch and a movie. What a great idea! We had to wait a bit to get staff's attention when we first walked in (I think they were low on staff). Once we were acknowledged, they said to sit wherever. We seated ourselves at a big booth with no hassle. Our server was super nice and gave a lot of great feedback about the menu. I came here on a Sunday morning at about 10:00am, it was quite empty and immediately upon my arrival I felt great live energy! Arthur's has cute decors and a very open floor space which enabled a lot of free seating. I ordered the crab benedict with asparagus and potatoes, the hollandise sauce had a nice tangy lemon tart taste to it (which I love). The service was great, everyone was quite friendly and welcoming. This is located in the heart of West Seattle, an area that is very desirable to hang out and live in. I would come back for their Happy Hour from 3-6 and 9-close. We have lived in W. Seattle for almost 3 years now and just went to Arthur's for the first time. Shame on us. We stopped in on a Thursday morning and thankfully it wasn't too busy. Interior is super cute and laid back. Service was friendly and cordial. The food was spot on. I had just come back from NY and wanted some eggs and toast but not the greasy spoon kind, ya'll know what I mean. One of my yolks was broken so it was running all over my plate but that didn't deter me from finishing every single last bite of everything. The bread was toasted perfectly; not too crispy, still soft, just right, slathered in a healthy (or heaping) amount of butter. The chickpea patty was super tasty (it's made in house) a smidge dry but hey, it's made from chickpeas. My only qualm was the amount of rosemary on the potatoes (I don't like rosemary) but they were fried to absolute perfection. Everything was SO GOOD. Girlfriend got the smoked trout crostini and pickled blueberry salad and enjoyed every part of it. We will definitely be back. read more

They offer healthy, delicious and hearty options AND also have bottomless mimosas on the weekends! The staff is super friendly and the food is super tasty! What I ordered: Grilled Cheese: cheese (mozzarella, aged white cheddar, smoked gouda), tomato jam, pickled red onion, avocado smash, toasted essential baking sourdough. Comes with the largest chips and they're so crispy too! Avo Smash: avocado mashed with lemon, mint, basil, and parsley on toasted essential baking sourdough with cheese (housemade!), marinated heirloom tomato, purple kale, and poached eggs on top. It's seasoned like an Everything Bagel and I love it! Loved both entrees and their sides. And I can confidently say that Arthur's has the Best Grilled Cheese! The potato chips it comes with are massive and delicious, but I loved taking bites of the marinated tomatoes and kale that came with the Avo Smash between bites of the grilled cheese. Now that would be the ultimate grilled cheese combo at Arthur's! The portions were so much larger than what I had expected (and I eat a lot too!) that I had the other half of the grilled cheese to take home with me and it also reheated nicely my panini grill too! I'm not one to leave negative reviews but since I know that a lot of folks like me would kill for a good Avocado Toast, I find that it is important that I give a detailed rundown of the Avo Smash. Presentation of the food is great! You have a thick slice of sourdough that's topped with a generous heap of mashed Avocado. A bunch of delicious flavors are in the mix: lemon, mint, parley, basil, poppy seeds, some heirloom tomatoes. Once I sliced into the sourdough, however, I knew what was wrong. They do not toast the bread at Arthur's. So you can only imagine my distaste as the bread becomes soggy after I rip the yolks ever so gently with my fork. Coupled with the "mashed" avocado not smashed, the whole dish became a sodden sorry affair. To top it off, you have a bread knife to work with. I almost considered giving my feedback to my server to pass on to the kitchen. I hope they read this because I absolutely loved the flavors...had they only smashed the Avocado and toasted the bread. read more

The ambiance in the restaurant was nicely decorated. Tall ceilings with natural lighting. The food was great but the service deserves a two star rating. We came here for brunch at 10am and was seated in a timely manner because we had made reservations in advance. We were a party of 8. Half of us were on time and ordered our food. The rest of the party arrived 20 minutes later and ordered their food. It took an hour for half of the food to arrive. 45 minutes later the rest of the food did not arrive. While waiting our waiter did not come back to 1) check on us OR 2) tell us that there would be an extensive wait for our food. When we asked how much longer it would be our waiter commented "everyone is waiting for their food". The rest of the party ended up having to box up their food because we were in a time crunch. This spot is SO CUTE & the food was delicious! HH deals are bomb! The avocado toast was tangy & loaded with veggies. I love me some tangy avo spread! Their mushroom/polenta dish was one of the BEST polenta dishes ever. They modified it to be vegan & oh em gee it was killer. THANK YOU to the chef for veganizing it! How have I not reviewed Arthur's? Its one of my top brunch spots and one of my favorite places to meet up with friends. The space is so open, bright, and inviting. Comfortable seating and lots of space! Brunch is my jam here- bottomless mimosas, crab benedicts, avocado toast. The BLT benedict has avocado hollandaise. Genius. I came at night recently and had a pretty underwhelming charcuterie board, so I'll stick to brunch from now on. The service is generally awesome, sometimes the kitchen can be slow, but they keep your drink full, which makes me very patient. :) read more
