Frame was flimsy and cheaply made. The "wood" was more of a composite. No hardware was attached to the frame, even though I upgraded it from the traditional wire hanger. I didn't get a notification that my item shipped, so I couldn't track it. The box had been sitting outside in the rain all day and was open. I also got the cheapest acrylic to cover my artwork, but the quality still should have been better. It was the same quality as the plastic found in a frame from the dollar store. I spent almost $100 to frame artwork I spent a year on. Very disappointed. Oh, and they will harass you with email and text offers even when you unsubscribe. Shop elsewhere if you want quality. read more

Cheap prices, cheap product. I ordered a basic white wooden frame with mat (finished dimension: 15.75"x19.5") for $46.93 (Order 1672095), after being tired to hearing quotes 3x the price from other vendors. We live in Bed-Stuy, so we went pick it up to avoid shipping fee. When swung by and reviewed the product upon pickup, I noticed the mat was poorly cut and there were noticeable over-cut marks at two corners. The front desk associate was friendly, apologized for the error and promised to replace the mat and ship to us for free. We received the mat with new frame on time, but upon closer inspection my husband and I were disappointed with the subpar workmanship and cheap quality of materials overall. The wood in the back was not sanded smoothly enough and my husband got a splinter from handling. There was a cut mark on the front of the frame, and one of the corners was messily put together (reference picture attached). With Art To Frame, you get what you pay for. read more

I read some shitty reviews for this business and I don't understand. My experience was that not only did they offer a custom size frame with the exact materials I wanted, but I received it in Texas in four days! So, I bought another one, and same thing. Altour was a custom size the packaging looked designed for it and all was good in the world. read more

I buy artwork overseas frequently, so the sizing almost always fails to fit into standardized American frames. I've purchased from this place numerous times. I placed an order for two frames on 6/20, and my order still hasn't been made yet. I understand that there is a delay due to COVID, but I've never once received a proactive update or been given the option to cancel my order. I've had to call or email Art to Frames multiple times for updates, and it seems like my order only progresses when I call or email them. It's been an extremely frustrating experience that could have been improved if one person reached out to me to let me know my order would be delayed by over a month. I'm sure the frames are nice, which is why I placed my order here, but customer service has been extremely disappointing. read more

Art To Frames - Framing Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I ordered three custom frames on March 14, 2021. They were a good deal for custom frames--about $150 all told. When I ordered, it a March 24 shipping date, and that was fine as I had no pressing urgency for the frames. When I received the link to my order status page, it said that the delivery estimate was April 5, 2021. Fine, no problem with that. A few days after April 5, when the order had still not shipped yet the status page still had that as the delivery date, I gave customer service a call. The woman I spoke to was friendly and looked into my order. She said she did not know why it was taking so long as all three frames were in stock. She said that COVID was causing some delays, and I said I understood and could be patients--I just wanted an updated ETA. She said she would push it to the front of the line. Soon after, my status page updated to have a April 21 delivery estimate. On April 21, I received an email from the company. It was not a personal email, but instead looked to be directed at everyone with outstanding orders. It said that COVID was causing delays but they were still working on the orders and they hoped to have my order shipped within 30 days. Well, that is a while longer than I expected, but at least they gave me an update and I am sympathetic to COVID problems, so fine. I will wait. On May 27, 36 days later, I send an email asking for a status update. On May 28, I get customer service on the phone. (It has now been 2.5 months and the status page still says my frames will be delivered on April 21). This time, the woman looks into my order and says the problem was that one of the three frames is out of stock. She suggests I pick a different material for the frame or I can cancel that one frame from the order. I choose the later, as I am starting to doubt I will receive any of these frames ever. To their credit, the money for that frame is refunded to my card within a few days. The status page updated again, but it does not show the frames actually advancing towards being manufactured. Instead, it now estimates by delivery to be April 7, 2021--an impossible date. Today is June 7, 2021. It has been 85 days. I have yet to receive anything. The only true updates I have received resulted only because I reached out to them. How long would I have waited for someone from the company to reach out to me to tell me that one of my frames is out of stock? Another 2 months? I have not cancelled the order yet, but I am very close. If the order ships soon and the two frames left are correct and look well made, I will update this review and add a star or two. But no matter what, I cannot imagine I will be going back to Art To Frames for any further business. read more

Fantastic. They beat delivery time by a week on my mats. Everything has a snug fit and looks great!

I do give leeway to companies battling through COVID-19, but this company seems to blame every miscue and delay on the virus. - I ordered two 18x24 frames on June 24th, 2020. - Received the order a few weeks later on July 16th, 2020 with the wrong sized frames at 16x24 vs. 18x24. - Replacement order put through on July 27th, 2020. - Received replacement order on August 18th, 2020 and open the box to find NO plastic glass included with the frames. So here I am roughly 56 days out from ordering two frames, to NOT having the right size frame and glass to put my art into. Customer service is horrid serving up bland robotic responses and false promises days after contact. Everything is COVID's fault including, I presume, their total lack of any type of quality assurance process before shipping stuff out the door. Just fed up and soooo done. Stay FAR FAR away from ArttoFrames folks. read more

I have been using ATF for several years now and have always been happy with the quality of work. The website is easy to use and I like getting exactly the size I need without a huge price tag. The frames arrive well-packed. It is taking longer than usual right now but I am from a generation that remembers a time of no computers or cell phones. I can be patient, and as I don't know the Covid-19 restrictions in NYC, I can't be critical of the longer processing time. read more

Including shipping, I paid $110 and got 2 very high quality custom frames. Much cheaper than taking it to a framing shop. The wires, nails and hooks installation is more difficult than the online video makes it seem because the wood is very solid. If I had very expensive artwork, I'd probably feel better taking it into a framing shop. However, Art To Frames is perfect for my low cost prints. read more

We recently got an A3 sized print, and had a really hard time finding the right sized frame for it until we came across Art to Frames. They had it, in a whole variety of styles and prices to choose from. We chose the Cherry on Red Oak and it is beautiful. Solid wood, nice texture, no damage, and complements the print really well. Orders were somewhat backlogged when we ordered because of the pandemic but it was still done reasonably fast. So glad to have found this company! Also have my eye on their barnwood frames, will definitely be buying from them again. read more

For a company that only makes frames, they certainly don't know how to ship their own product. I ordered a frame in early June. It is now mid-July and I still have not successfully received my products as it's been shipped three times to only arrived completely shattered. When I asked for a refund, because I gave up hope of getting a frame in one piece, they said they would only refund the cost of the glass and not the frame itself... but the frame is useless without the glass. Will never purchase a frame through Art to Frames again... hoping I get a not broken one some day... read more

I am a repeat customer who has spent many dollars with your company. My order from December still has not shipped. I waited over a month to check status. I have sent multiple e-mails and made multiple calls. Each time I was told the order will be expedited, but nothing has happened...not even a e-mail or phone call. You send me e-mail marketing twice a week, but you can not be bothered to fill my order. I understand issues with Covid, but your service is terrible. Why are you marketing if you are not filling orders and taking care of your customers? read more

I have ordered from them twice now, first time was fine, but it was a small metal frame. The second time I ordered as you can see in the pictures, did not come as advertised in the slightest. I contacted them with the images and they told me it was due to the fact its natural wood and comes in slight variations of color and grain. This is not just a different color and grain, it is a completely different and sub par product from what I ordered and had significant splintering in the back. Dont waste your money unless you are getting a very standard frame. I would just go to Micheals, its faster and the same price for the product they will end up sending a month after you order. Absolutely the worst customer service experience of my entire life. I have never been ignored, rerouted, & more confused than the experience I've had with them. I have NEVER posted a negative business review. Not once. But I had to sit down & write this because it's ridiculous. I have been waiting 7.5 weeks for my order & have not gotten replies from anyone keeping me updated. It's one thing to be behind on orders OR for a manufacturer to leave you waiting for parts, but to leave the customer in the dark & not keep them updated is really frustrating! I have no idea who to ask because no one will give me an update. I pride myself on not destroying businesses with google reviews/FB reviews bashing them because every business makes mistakes - but in this case, I am incredibly frustrated at Art to Frames for this terrible experience. This has left me confused, frustrated, and 100% sure I will never order from your business again. No customer should ever have to work this hard at figuring out where their order is! Timeline *January 20th - I place the order & receive confirmation that it should ship by February 1st ship date estimated 2/1 - no notification that ATF is running late * February 20th - I reached out to customer service with my order number & asked for an update *February 22nd - Gitty responded *February 23rd - I replied & OKed switching frames NO REPLY from Gitty *February 25th Ashley reached out about switching the frame for me *February 25th I replied with the information requested NO REPLY from Ashley *March 1 - I followed up on the email *March 2 - I call your customer service number, wait on hold, & have to leave a voicemail because no agents are available NO ANSWER / FORCED TO LEAVE VOICEMAIL (I sent a very upset email to them telling them if I don't get my order or an update soon I will be reviewing them because of my frustration) *March 3 - Rachel reaches out asking what frame I want because they are out of the one I ordered I reply & give them another frame No reply from Rachel *March 4 - Ashley replies & tells me that other replacement frame is out of stock, but that she knows the gold Versailles one because its in stock I reply that's fine I am just looking to have my frame shipped asap *March 8 - Ashley reaches out again to tlel me that now the Gold Versailles frame is also out of stock & that I can wait 10-14 days for it to be restocked This is my breaking point. This is the most ridiculous headache & frustrating customer service experience i've ever had. Before dragging customers through all of this you should just offer to give them a refund! I shouldn't have to beg you for an update OR you shouldn't offer to replace frames with "in stock" frames without setting them aside for the customer..... this has been an insane amount of back & forth for a freaking frame. read more

My order looks nothing like what I received. Emailed customer service no response. Is this company legitimate or a scam?

I ordered a frame nearly two months ago. I checked in after a month, just to see if there was an update. At that time, I was told that there were delays because of COVID. Totally understandable. Checked in again today to be told that the frame was actually discontinued and won't be available. This is WILD that a business can be run like this. No one told me that it was discontinued, and there was no indication on the order page about it. I will never order a frame from this site again. Totally disappointed. If you have literally any other option, go with that. read more
