I have to drop in here to mention a few things about One Hour Framing: 1) The owner Waseem is what you want from a customer experience perspective. He is knowledgable, honest, skilled and consistent. 2) Any jerk giving bad ratings here because they didn't get their custom job framed within "one hour" needs to get a grip and understand you can't rush greatness. First off, they turn things around very quickly. I've had several jobs with double mattings and a custom frame/glass cut and picked it up sometimes in 1 day. Even when the crew was slammed with jobs. 3) The work is fantastic. I literally have everything in my apartment framed from here, and its thanks to their great work, I look forward to visiting him next week to get some additional jobs done to give my boyfriend for Christmas during COVID! 4) We need businesses like this more than ever. In either 2019 or 2020, I went to this shop to get a record vinyl framed. This record vinyl was autographed by the late rapper Juice WRLD who passed away in 2019. Everything was good until now 3+ years later I decided I wanted to take it out the frame and listen to it, but I couldn't. These guys GLUED the record vinyl onto the board they used and I cannot remove it without severely damaging the record. This is something that had extreme sentimental value to me and a money value of over $1000. No longer can I have any access to it since its stuck inside the frame forever. Also to top it all off, the record looks dirty since you can see the glue through it. Always thought it was a smudge on the frame until realizing its just the glue seeping through. Wish I would've realized all this sooner, or that they told me beforehand they were going to glue it. read more

A Surprise-a laser ink jet print of a great original painting a beloved lady adores. Also after checking around I found his prices were quite competitive with the best ones you will be able to find-& somewhat cheaper than most. I came here recently on the suggestion of a colleague and was pleasantly surprised. When I arrived I was a bit resistant to leaving my photography framing project in Waseem's hands but he definitely came through for me. I was having two 8x10's framed in one frame and it came to a bit over 140 and some change. He was able to get it back to me in two days which was much faster than another store had quoted me and even at a higher price! For years I've been coming here for framing and it's about time I posted a review. Waseem has framed everything I've bought for my apartment. The process always goes the same way: I show him the art. He quickly pulls out mat colors and frames. I tell him those are not what I had in mind. I obsess for a while as he waits patiently. I end up using what he recommended in the first place. And the final piece comes out looking beautiful. This is the kind of shop that is scarcer every day in the city, let alone in midtown: a long-standing small business run by an individual entrepreneur. While I'm overall happy with the results, I'm not sure if I will come back here for my framing needs. I've had two projects done here at two separate occasions. The first one was a smaller 6" by 10" lithograph to be done with a slim black frame with no mat (I supplied paper for the background). The price came out to be $28 which I THINK is better than average? The finished product was overall good but there was slight crack in the frames joining at one corner. Hardly anything to fuss over but not perfect work. The second time, I came with a print that I wanted to really do something special with and the owner walked through several options of mat//frame combinations with me until we decided on a green mat/brown frame. As he was writing up the receipt ($85), I pointed out a different color scheme he picked out and said - no, I want this one instead. The owner confirmed verbally, orange mat/bronze frame? And we were set. The turnaround took 4 business days (Thought it was called 1 hour framiing? D'oh) and when I came to pick it up, anticipating the orange mat/bronze frame lo and behold he had done with the green mat/brown frame. I was a little taken aback but didn't say anything because it did look nice. However, ever time I look at it I wonder how it would have been had he gone with what I asked for. ' read more

Around the holidays I took a photo of my fiance and I to get framed. I work for a company that uses One Hour Framing on an account. They do not send us invoices in a timely fashion and when we call them for invoices, they are very rude to us. One of our employees had been told "F**K YOU!" by Waseem on several occasions. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR. We are no longer using them as a vendor. And we urge anyone else who hasn't used them to stay away, or else, use at YOUR OWN RISK! read more

I found Waseem to be a RUDE disgusting individual. No manners or professionalism whatsoever. Besides that the framing job took over two weeks to complete. I had to call him several times and at no point was a quote ever provided, prior to the work being started. It was delivered along with an invoice of over $1,000.00. I contacted Waseem to ask for why there was a delivery charge of $25.00 and why I was being charged such high fees, and his response was "this is the price in the world" I highly doubt that. Then he proceeded to ask me irrelevant questions and rudely hung up on me. Don't waste your time unless you wanna be a victim of PRICE GOUGING. They charge as per your occupation. RIPOFF! read more

Where I used to work would get all of their art framed by Waseem here at One Hour Framing, so when I needed to get 3 posters framed for my boyfriend's birthday, I immediately headed over to Waseem to see what kind of deal I could snag. He framed my stuff for $90 ($30 for each poster) and did it in about an hour and a 1/2 which I consider pretty great considering I dropped my stuff off after 4pm! Not sure if he gave me any sort of "deal", but you can't get stuff framed in custom frames with that quick of a turn-around anywhere else to my knowledge! read more

Really, really bad customer service. Though the work was decent, it was so unpleasant speaking with them that I would certainly have gone somewhere else. Furthermore, I was told to give them six days to do a very simple photo framing job and that they would call me as soon as it was ready on said date. I was specifically told not to come until they called. Five days after the due date, I called to check in and was rudely told "it's ready when it says it will be ready on the receipt". Why didn't I get a call? "Maybe because your voicemail was full". Um, no. I'm not that popular. That doesn't happen. For the money and time and headache, there are better places to take your business. read more
