Super fluffy and moist, melt in your mouth delicious with butter and maple syrup. We also tried the ham and cheese omelet, which had a generous portion of ham and flavorful. The hashbrowns could have used more seasoning but the texture was crispy and with ketchup were perfect. Service was attentive and they kept our coffee cups filled. Inside was bustling but cozy diner feel.

Food was cooked made to order and SO delicious. I opted for a breakfast quesadilla and a side of pancakes(2 for the senior option). The salsa on the quesadilla was super tasty hint of garlic and fresh tomatoes. The super short stack of pancakes went to my belly quickly, hope I got photos. Service was spot on. Yes, a couple more people came but our server managed everything perfectly. From now on, we won't be driving to the Nags Head location, because I'm bumping the starts at this location.

I'm pretty sure we will remain customers and I am increasing the rating because they do serve excellent seafood. The slaw cannot be the driver for the rating.

It can transform an ordinary drink into something special. It makes the magic of coffee last throughout the entire day. I was immediately welcomed when I walked into the Outer Bean. Initially, I was bummed because cortados were not on the menu. I asked the barista if she would try to make one. She said sure. I gave her general directions and she walked to the espresso machine. A couple of minutes later she handed me a cup with two shots of espresso and a stainless steel pitcher with steamed milk. The barista said, "Why don't you add the milk in so you get it just the way you want." I thought this was a thoughtful gesture. I thanked her and made my cortado. We chatted a bit. It turned out she is Thai and my husband is Thai; and I love to talk about Thailand. I took a few pictures. We exchanged goodbyes and I exited the cafe with a genuine smile and a very positive impression of the Outer Bean. Smiles are free and they can elevate and/or improve any situation. Plus, folks always look better when they smile. I hope you make this world a better place by sharing your smile with someone today. It got the job done as I enjoy one cup a day and was a bit behind schedule. The place is small, but perfect for a coffee shop where take out is mostly occurring.
