DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We hired PuroClean of Metro Atlanta in May 2025, recommended by our…read moreinsurance company, to rebuild our home after a fire. They promised completion within three months, but the process has been a nightmare. Our house burned down in April, we hired them in May. Work didn't begin until July despite their assurances. We paid a 50% deposit ($130,000) of the $260,000 contract in July, they do no work in house they subcontract everything out. They paid the subs $65k and refused to continue work until we paid more money. The sub crew has consisted of only 1-2 workers on-site, working sporadically for maybe 10 days total in 3 months. Neighbors have reported workers arriving for just 1-2 hours, then resting for the remainder of the day. Communication has been poor; repeated attempts to address the lack of progress and request a larger, more consistent crew have been met with excuses and delays. We trusted PuroClean due to the insurance recommendation, but their lack of professionalism, transparency, and work ethic has left us stranded with an incomplete home. The subcontractors are out at our home threatening to put a lien on it for non payment. We have also sent them several messages that they have left behind nails and debris in our backyard with our dogs causing them to injure themselves and bleed all over the place. I strongly caution others against hiring this company.

Also, the water had leaked into our dining room ceiling below as well as into a decorative column and support beam. They did it all teardown, dry-out, reconstruction and painting and it looked better than new. I was very impressed by their service team they were always early to start, very efficient, knowledgeable, and extremely courteous. They handled our furniture with care as well. They also worked very well with our insurance company taking the burden off us. To top that off their pricing was very fair. I would use Omar and his team again in a heartbeat for water damage. If there was a 6th star instead of the 5, I would have checked that.

I am so appreciative of Bob, Kevin, and the entire team at this location. This was the second…read morerestoration company we contacted after we discovered a water leak in our home. Bob and his team were at our house shortly after our call; they quickly assessed the situation and started their work within 30 minutes. The other company I called was nice, but needed time to put together an estimate and did not take the quick, efficient steps that Bob's team did. The 911 team was super responsive and answered all of my questions (which were a lot lol). I cannot thank Bob and his team enough! They were prompt, took precautions (masks, shoe covers, etc.), and cleaned up after themselves. I also noticed they never put their items (jackets, etc.) on our personal property even though there was space. Instead, they draped them on their machines that were already here. Most people probably don't care about this or notice this little detail, and maybe it was not intentional, but it definitely made me feel like they respected our space, especially in these unknown pandemic times. Lastly, Bob put us in touch with a contractor that can quickly complete our repairs. That is so helpful because otherwise we'd be back to Google trying to find a good company. With Bob's recommendation, we trust we are still in good hands. If you are ever faced with the unfortunate need for a restoration company, I DEFINITELY recommend Bob and his team! You will not be disappointed.

I got a prompt reply from someone named Chad, which was promising since he was so quick to respond and let me know that he could call me on Monday to discuss (this was a Friday) or I could call their office. I thanked him for his quick response, gave him my contact information, and told him I looked forward to hearing from him on Monday. Well, Monday came and went and I heard nothing from anyone, so I called the number that was listed in his reply and left a voicemail asking for a call back to schedule an estimate or discuss further. It has now been more than a month and I still haven't heard from this company. If they are this bad at communicating from the start, I would not have high hopes for actually working with them. I was disappointed since the Yelp reviews were promising. I'm glad that others have had better experiences with Knoble Engineering and was hoping I would be able to add to their positive reviews, but unfortunately that was not the case. I don't feel it makes sense for me to chase someone that I am trying to give my business to. Luckily, I found another engineer for my project that has been far more responsive.

The kids told us everything we wanted to hear, that they and the insurance would cover replacing all the damaged flooring, the damaged ceiling, tile, etc. They placed 17 pieces of equipment, fans and dehumidifiers and turned them on and told us to let them run constant until they returned three days later. Three days later another crew arrived at the house. One guy immediately walks into the kitchen, points a moisture meter towards the ceiling and says it is all dry, and that all they need to do is just have someone repaint the ceiling. Completely opposite of what the first group told us, and this guy hadn't even gone up stairs or to the basement to see the damage there. I began to tell him that the ceiling needs to be opened to make sure all water is gone and that the previous crew told me.. then he cuts me off to inform me that the previous crew works for him. He is their boss so it apparently doesn't matter what the first group of kids told me. My wife took him downstairs and he tried telling us there was no more moisture in the basement ceiling based on his meter infrared meter. But we saw the purple on the screen which means moisture but he said it was because the air vent was making it look like there was water. OK, so how can you know it is dry then? We then took off our shoes and our socks started to soak up water that was still in the flooring. So it was still wet. Then he goes to the third floor where the leak began around the toilet and my wife convinces him it is still wet there too. We called our insurance company and said we didn't want to work with this company anymore so they sent another company called MasterPro and so far everything is going great with them. Today I get a bill from Serv Pro for "services rendered" but all they did was set out some fans and left for a few days. Total cost for that? $3,200!

Serpro came out in a timely manner, however never the Supervisor did not explain in detail what they would be doin. The workers they sent out were very young and hasty in there work and did not complete drying my closets and removable carpets and set 30 large fans all over my condo and some not even plugged in. Three days after my disaster they sent out about 30 spanish speaking men and women and began to pack everything in my condo, in boxes. They were very unprofessional workers only two to three spoke english. One of the male workers was playing with my grandmothers very old neck fox collar, which i never seen again and many other very sentimental possessions. i called their Supervisor but he never helped me to find the missing possessions. I would never recommend this company to anyone ever. i was heart broken and have not yet seen many of my possessions since that day in December . They threw away seven pieces of my furniture and all of my summer clothes and very expensive wallets and hand bags. They broke a few things and i was never compensated for them. They were paid by my Insurance Company very well and in a timely manner. Terrible experience with this Company.
