First time visit was an absolute pleasure! We made reservations ahead of time for our anniversary when we arrived the table was decorated which added a nice touch. We were immediately greeted and welcomed with a happy anniversary! We both had the halibut which was cooked at a perfect temperature. We decided to accompany our meal with shareable, broccoli, and potatoes, which were excellent! To top off our meal we were provided with their house specialty of butter cake! Last month we visited Arrowhead Grill for the first time to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We booked through Open Table and it was not a great first impression. Open Table jad promised a table side experience which wasn't offered at the restaurant. Our waitress and some of the food was not a great experience. However... The next morning, Mark Lewin reached out to me to have a conversation as to what exactly happened. We talked about 20 minutes. I was very impressed with him and how he handled our situation. He asked if we'd be willing to give them a second chance at a first impression. Last night we went for Happy Hour and it was a complete 180 from our first time. Great atmosphere. Our waiter was the best (I can't remember his name). The food we had was exceptional. I tried the spicy watermelon margarita (delicious) and of course we had the butter cake. The manager on duty, I think his name is also Mark, remembered us and stopped by to check in. Super impressed with how last night went and it goes to show that even a great restaurant can have a bad day. But it's how they handle it makes a difference. While visiting Arizona for a Green Bay Packers game, I searched for the best restaurants in Glendale -- and Arrowhead absolutely delivered. First, know what you're walking into: outstanding food, a deep wine list, and a staff made up of true service professionals. All of that excellence comes at a price. Even coming from Las Vegas, I found it on the higher end -- but it earns that price tag. My wife and I typically split a three-course meal at restaurants like this, and it worked beautifully here. We opened with the lamb chop fondue ($36) -- lamb chops... as an appetizer. And unquestionably the standout dish of the night. Three beautifully Frenched, top-quality chops cooked to a perfect medium-rare, lightly salted and perfumed with rosemary, served alongside warm goat cheese for dipping. I adore lamb, and these were easily the best I've had in a rather long life. I would return for this dish alone. Next came the clam chowder ($15). Most chowders lean "potato soup with a cameo by clams." Not this one. The ratio was just right, and the broth was silky, rich, and genuinely clam-forward. For our main, we chose from their supper-club style "build-your-own" fish entrée: sea bass with a macadamia nut crust. A generous portion, cooked flawlessly -- flaky, moist, beautifully handled. We paired it with a side of roasted cauliflower, which had a great char and depth of flavor. My only critique: the fish would truly shine with a choice of sauce (a Béarnaise would have been perfect). The night we visited, they were running a half-price bottle special, so we enjoyed a $109 Pinot Noir for $54 -- basically retail pricing, if you could even find it. The ambiance channels a classic supper club: warm lighting, polished service, and a quietly confident old-school hospitality. I heard the table behind us order lamb chops medium well -- and the server didn't so much as flinch. A lesser restaurant would have protested; this one lives the "guest first" ethos. We have dined at Arrowhead Grill many times and always think it is great. The service is exceptional, the food is delicious and the ambiance is inviting. We typically order the same items ( Caesar Salad, Delmonico Steak and Au Gratin Potatoes) because they are that good, so we find no reason to switch it up. This evening we dined there and ordered the same items. The salad and steak were delicious as usual, but the potato recipe has been changed. Instead of the normal gooey, cheesy potatoes we received thin, bland, watery potatoes with what seemed like French's onions on top. They were reminiscent of the boxed Betty Crocker potatoes which is not what we expect from this caliber of restaurant. This is a busy dinner spot and reservations are recommended. We reserved through OpenTable same day and got 3:30 pm reservations for two on the patio. There was an indoor option at 4pm. Because I read Yelp reviews ahead, I knew the back patio was exposed to sun and asked the waitress if we could sit further down towards the entrance, with no problems at all. We chose a nice, intimate table for two, fully shaded. There's still significant noise from street traffic. We were fine with it but I'm mentioning it in case you want quiet. Our first time here we experienced such great service from our waitress, Randi, and amazingly good, fresh food from the kitchen, that we can't wait to return. We couldn't get enough of the cream sauce with the grilled artichoke leaves - a heavenly match (this is an off menu special of the day) - AG Fish n'Chips - Beer Battered Walleyed Pike served with French Fries and house made tartar sauce. Yes, they have perfect Fish n'Chips! If you search like we do, you must try these. Even the tartar sauce is fresh and delicious. Hubs approved. - Lyonnaise Potatoes - So good! Crispy edges, soft medallions of potato with caramelized onion. Reminds me of my Dad's breakfast potatoes. Randi brought out AG ketchup and Spicy Ranch for dipping. - Macadamia Crusted Chilean Sea Bass - Excellent! This was a large piece of fish! It looked deceptively small on the plate. It was cooked perfectly and tasted like tender buttery deliciousness. The Macadamia crust, lemon and micro greens were crunchy and delicious on top. 10/10 - Signature Butter Cake with vanilla ice cream & chocolate sauce to-go (Complimentary for our first time dining here!) The servers boxed our leftovers for us in the kitchen and even boxed our sauces. There's plenty of seating inside the restaurant's main room, plus seating in the bar room. The patio wraps around the back (facing the busy street) and along the side nearest the street signal. After my last visit I decided to give Arrowhead grill another chance and what a pleasant surprise. Friendly greetings by the staff. Our server was very attentive and checked on us regularly . Food was overall excellent. High quality steak, seasoned well and staff was very knowledgeable. We had the opportunity to try a bit of everything on the menu. We opted for oysters and shrimp as starters and they were delicious. My Caesar was disappointing - a little heavy on dressing and cheese...and some of the iceberg was browning. The bread was a hit at our entire table. One of the frustrations of the night was the delay between salads and entrees, it was nearly 40 minutes. Our waitress explained they normally time it at 20 minutes, but the night we dined in the kitchen was behind. To me...the price point doesn't quite match the experience. When spending easily $100 a person, I shouldn't have browning lettuce and I would expect better timing of meals. While I enjoyed the meal overall, I'm not sure I would go back. Everything deserves 5 stars; ambiance, service, food and drinks. Came here on Monday after Fourth of July weekend. It wasn't busy at all. Reservations are strongly recommended. The hosts and servers were very sweet. Especially to my toddler. Drinks and food were ordered in a timely manner. I appreciate the server asking if we wanted to order my toddler's food earlier. And I also appreciate that her food didn't come out piping hot. She was able to eat right away. Oh and they have a kids menu which is a huge plus. Started off strong with bread and butter. I think the bread could've been more moist, but according to my sister in law, the bread has changed throughout time and so has the menu. Pear martinis were amazing!!! I would totally order that again. For the main course; I got the 8 oz New York strip, medium rare. Omg the steak was like butter. It was so flavorful on its own and cooked perfectly. My favorite side was the artisan mac and cheese. It's probably the best mac and cheese I've ever had. I also enjoyed the cream of spinach. We did not have room for dessert. I hate to do this because so much of the experience was A+. Great service, perfectly made cocktails, meatball app was incredible as were the sides. The problem were the steaks. We each had bone-in ribeye. Not only were they aggressively over-seasoned but it was truly inferior beef. It was so rubbery and poor tasting I felt like a cheap sirloin steak at a roadside breakfast joint tastes better. I took most of it home and our dog was the beneficiary. A ribeye at Frys is 5x better than this. A rib eye from any one of the local butchers is 10x this. The ridiculous over-seasoning is their lame attempt to hide the cheap beef. Bone-in ribeye needs a some kosher salt and pepper and the quality of the meat (and cut) should speak for itself. I hope ownership/management will heed these words or they won't be in business too much longer. You may be fooling some with the cheap meat / over-seasoning scam, but many of us are onto you. read more

Made reservations on a Thursday night. Walked in and was seated within about 10 min. I asked for a booth and they gave us one right by the Kitchen . Amiee was our server and she was very nice and pleasant. My fiancé ordered and split the 22 ounce ribeye ( bone in ) with a baked potato - cost $79. I have never minded paying higher end prices for any meal , mostly steak , as long as they meet expectations. You would think this is the highest quality of meat they are serving . I am sad to say when it arrived it didn't meet the mark. When ordering a ribeye you expect some fat in it but this specific steak was excessive. You would also except that it would melt in your mouth - it didn't. Each bite was chewy and each bite had gristle in it. I give very few bad reviews- but this one deserves it. They only reason they will get a 1 star is because of the server Amiee- she was very pleasant. While we do come for the experience- the food is the main draw. If you're a ribeye lover - stay away from this establishment. I sent this same review to the management in a separate text, and did receive a less than stellar response from Chef Charles . First time at Arrowhead Grill. Attended a Saturday gathering hosted by friends. We were escorted to a separate room with several other larger groups. Robert was our personable and very competent waiter. Appetizer was a couple of cheese and cracker trays with fig jam and candied walnuts. Lots of steak and seafood options with larger sharable sides and salads. Ordered a medium Delmonico Steak with a loaded baked potato. The sides are a separate charge. I have not had a Delmonico in many years. The well seasoned steak and side were outstanding. People in the group were very happy with their choices including Rib Eye and New York Strip Steaks. One person would have selected Swordfish instead of the milder Grouper, however it's all about personal taste. Cocktails and desserts were plentiful and well received. My girlfriend and I were just driving around looking for a place to eat when we randomly decided to stop at Arrowhead Grill--and wow, what a great decision that was! We didn't have a reservation, but the hostess was incredibly friendly and got us seated right away, which was a nice surprise given how busy the place seemed. The ambience was upscale but still welcoming, with a warm, classy vibe that made it feel like the perfect spot for a great meal. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, making great recommendations, and even the manager stopped by our table to check in and make sure everything was perfect--something you don't see at every restaurant! Now, let's talk about the food. The oysters were fresh and absolutely perfect. The steak was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. The sides? Just as impressive. Every dish was seasoned and prepared with care, making it clear why this place has such a great reputation. We made a reservation last minute and so happy we did. Now to the food! My husband loved his steak. It was medium rare and very flavorful. The Yukon side potatoes were soooo good! Rich, creamy, and amazing flavor! The Brussels sprouts we ordered them without the cheese and bacon and the flavor on them was soooo good! The Brussels sprouts were made well and tasted so delicious. It was soft texture and flavorful. My salmon was medium but I prefer for it to be well done. It had the flavor in the topping but the inside tasted like water and wasn't much of a fan of that. Arrowhead Grill is a neighborhood gem. We have been customers of Arrowhead Grill since they open. I have posted several reviews over the years but this one really means the most to me and my family. We had a celebration of life in AG's newly renovated private room for my Uncle on 1/25/2026. Jen the event coordinator had the room ready when we arrived and it looked awesome. My Aunt felt so welcome and was surprised on how beautiful every thing looked ( Thank you Jen). Charles (I will say one the best servers in Phoenix) made sure all guest were fully taken care from the moment we were seated the level of service was a 10. The Delmonico, Filets were perfectly cooked, the Salmon was a big hit as well prepared in many different ways. Side dishes and salads are top notch and the dessert you cannot go wrong with any of the selections. If you planning a family event or any special occasion this is a place I recommend. Dined on 8/24/25: celebrated anniversary w/ 6 people. When we 1st arrived, the hostess wasn't the friendliest (no smile; more of a scowl look). But after getting seated, the service was EXCELLENT. The potato was definitely overpriced, though I didn't really need it as I filled up on bread and water before the food came.
