If people want medium steaks, please honor those requests. People are not comfortable sending food back. I won't be ordering the lamb which was my all time favorite. Dined on 8/24/25: celebrated anniversary w/ 6 people. When we 1st arrived, the hostess wasn't the friendliest (no smile; more of a scowl look). But after getting seated, the service was EXCELLENT. Our server had good recommendations and re-filled water/soda w/o being asked. The Food was excellent - hot and cooked correctly. The noise level was low so we could have a normal conversation. We received a complimentary small butter cake to celebrate but given we had 6 and our bill was $400+, a regular sized butter cake would've been a "wow" factor and more appreciated (we did order a 2nd dessert). read more

Made reservations on a Thursday night. Walked in and was seated within about 10 min. I asked for a booth and they gave us one right by the Kitchen . Amiee was our server and she was very nice and pleasant. My fiancé ordered and split the 22 ounce ribeye ( bone in ) with a baked potato - cost $79. I have never minded paying higher end prices for any meal , mostly steak , as long as they meet expectations. You would think this is the highest quality of meat they are serving . I am sad to say when it arrived it didn't meet the mark. When ordering a ribeye you expect some fat in it but this specific steak was excessive. You would also except that it would melt in your mouth - it didn't. Each bite was chewy and each bite had gristle in it. I give very few bad reviews- but this one deserves it. They only reason they will get a 1 star is because of the server Amiee- she was very pleasant. While we do come for the experience- the food is the main draw. If you're a ribeye lover - stay away from this establishment. I sent this same review to the management in a separate text, and did receive a less than stellar response from Chef Charles . My husband and I have dined here several times and have always had excellent dinners. On this occasion I ordered the 12 oz filet. The server Haley assured me that it would be tender and it was. I told Haley that I wanted cooked to a level somewhere between medium and well done. She happily suggested "medium plus." My steak was perfect. (Most other restaurants aren't willing to fine tune the cooking level or sometimes even have inaccurate meat thermometers.) The tasty filet was huge. We bought it home and reheated it the next day. My husband ordered the 10 oz Delmonico steak. He said it was properly cooked medium rare. He got a loaded baked potato. We shared a very good AG salad. I was not impressed with the boring white bread biscuits. I would have preferred bread with a hard crust and soft inside. We enjoyed some roasted Brussels sprouts with Parmesan. I was not in the mood for my usual beverage (beer) so I asked Haley to recommend a Pinot Noir. The restaurant offered about 6-8 kinds. She recommended the Cherry Pinot Noir and gave me a sample. Another wonderful meal tonight at Arrowhead Grill. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and our waitress, Angela, took wonderful care of us. We used his rewards offer and ordered two 10 oz Delmonico steaks with macaroni and cheese as a side and a kids salmon meal with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I also started out with their delicious French onion soup. Steaks were cooked to a perfect medium. Sides were great portions and very tasty. This has been our go to place for special occasions for years. The best thing about our most recent experience was the service. Our server was very knowledgeable and had the right balance of attentiveness and respect. We had the shrimp cocktail appetizer and I had the French onion soup and he had the clam chowder. The three large shrimp were enough for us to share. They seemed a tad overcooked, but still tasty with great presentation. The clam chowder is something we would both order again. The onion soup was more bread and cheese than onion soup. The cocktails were delicious. I had a glass of Pinot noir that was good once I warmed up the cold glass with my hands. Perhaps this was their version of "cellar cold." We each had the Delmonico steaks and I believe they made my partner's medium rare and mine medium. Previous visits my steaks were always very tender. When the manager stopped by, he could tell by my non poker face that I was unhappy. After a brief chat, a new, tender, perfectly medium rare steak was served. Tips: - make a reservation - sit inside (it's still noisy inside too) - don't get the mussels Our first time here, heard amazing things about this west-side steakhouse, so we went In with great expectations for an early happy hour meal. Our first mistake was not making a reservation. It is a very popular restaurant, so even walking in at 3:30pm on a Fri, there were no bar seats, and the only open tables were in the sun on the patio. The patio is next to one of the loudest traffic intersections off the 101 and across from Walmart. The sun was blazing even though it was only mid 70's, AZ direct sun is no joke. The table next to us asked to move to a free table in the shade once it opened up, so it wasn't just us, and we didn't make a fuss about it. The restaurant should consider shading, or not seating those extra tables. Second mistake, ordering the mussels on the server's recommendation. It was fishy, smelled fishy and the bread was stale. We sent it back. Then our server switched, not sure if that was on purpose, but the second server was an upgrade. Probably the level of service most patrons experience. The better: anything with "AG" in the name was probably a good bet. Ordered the AG burger, prime rib shavings on the burger. My husband always asks if the burger beef has been frozen or fresh when ordering a burger, just in case, you never know, he asks so he can safely order his doneness, and the first server laughed/scoffed at him, "No." Geez just a question. We asked for it MR, it came Med. It was still tasty and worth the happy hour price! I got the Salmon AG salad, and we got comped a celebratory butter cake. It was all just eh, for the price we paid, ~$50, and it being "steakhouse dining." I get it, we went without being prepared for a reservation, and during happy hour, but we heard so many great things and the place is jumping! Expectations were high. We happened to have a trip to Pheonix overlap with our anniversary and had Arrowhead recommended to us by our family out here. Everything was absolutely amazing! They were able to accommodate our request for a booth which was appreciated and they had the table decorated for our anniversary which was such a nice touch! Our server, Logan, was absolutely wonderful! She provided great service, and she was so kind and attentive I would definitely ask for her again! We had the filet and the rack of lamb and they were both cooked perfectly to our liking, the veggies/sides were delicious as well. What I absolutely LOVED was the butter cake they gave us for our anniversary. It was absolutely incredible I could have had another lol!
