I visited this past weekend for date night with my fiancée. Over time, I've learned to use Texas Roadhouse's app to join the waitlist so that there's a table available once we arrive. As usual, we checked-in, and we were quickly given a table. Our waitress was very friendly and made sure we were given drinks and warm buns while we decided on our order. I ordered the 16oz Ft Worth Ribeye with a loaded baked potato and a cup of chili. My fiancée ordered a 6oz prime rib with French fries. The food came out relatively quick - I'd say about 15 minutes. Everything tasted great! My steak was cooked as ordered (medium) and my sides were delicious. We also ordered an additional basket of buns and butter (they're just so good!). We had a good time. It was a packed house. The host took my name and number and was told it can be a 10-20 min wait. We got seated in less than 10 min. Our server Toya greeted us right away. Very cheerful. The restaurant was filled with customers. Loves the decor. One wall had a mural of the State Farm stadium that has a a fighter jet flying over from Luke AFB. Another section had sketches of NASCAR drivers. Took our drink order and was served in good time. She took our order. I didn't feel like steak tonight. Instead I ordered the grilled salmon with baked potato and a house salad. Everything was cooked and presented well. Hubby had sirloin steak cooked med well. It came with buttered corn and baked potato. Because of the cut and how he had it prepared, I found it to me a bit on the tough side. ( he should have ordered the rib eye). Flavor was good. My daughter had a double cheeseburger and fries and my SIL had double cheeseburger with grilled mushrooms. His burger looked so good with the cheese melting over the sides. This place has got it right. Reasonable prices for great cuts of meat, amazing sides and drinks/beer that work their magic. An amazing group of friendly hostesses, and I mean group. This restaurant is so big and busy but everything appeared organized. Food came out in a timely fashion. Drinks, too. Best to sign up for their dining club and also to sign in their wait-list in their website. Less waiting. They have complimentary soft hot buns with cinnamon butter and peanuts. Very generous. Lots of TV's throughout the dining to watch sports. There is a Texas cheer lady that would go to parts of the restaurant to continue the jovial atmosphere. Woot woot! There was a major event or concert going on and we were told there was a 25-35 minute wait and they did seat us within that time frame. The ambiance was casual but loud. Our service was excellent, she was very friendly and attentive. Our main meals were delicious. We had a really disappointing experience at the Texas Roadhouse Friday night. We checked in at 9:55 PM with a full party of 12 and were told our table would be ready in 5-15 minutes. After waiting, another large party that arrived after us (and didn't appear to be on the waitlist) was seated first. When we asked about it, we were told our party wasn't complete--which wasn't true--and got inconsistent explanations from staff. It honestly felt like favoritism played a role. This is a newer location located behind Tanger Mall. The place is well lit and very clean. The staff was hustling and bustling. Lots of people touched our table from food runners, to people assisting with bread and pre-bussing the tables. The food tasted great and was true form to the Texas Roadhouse experience. We were sat at Willy Nelson's booth and enjoyed the extra decor they had in that area. I was with a group of 7 and our food all came timely and was fresh and warm. I know how Texas Road House can get pretty busy on the weekends so I decided to call and order to go.. they left me on hold for over 1hr.. yes it sounds crazy that I even stayed on the phone for that long but I figured they were busy.. so I hung up and called back and was left on hold this time again for a long period of time also... so I decided to drive down there and ordered.. the person working on the To go side was not friendly! I asked if my order came with dinner rolls she didn't answered me but left to the back and I was waiting again for another 20 min then came back with my dinner rolls and threw it into my bag of food.. that was so unprofessional and rude!! We were starving after a few hours of furniture shopping and house cleaning so we decided to head over and check out this location as we hadn't been and typically go to the one in Surprise. The parking lot coming in was crazy with after Christmas shoppers, but closer to the restaurant wasn't too bad. I had joined the waitlist online so when we got there I was able to fully check in. So much easier than walking through all the others already waiting. It was pretty busy, but we were seated within 20 minutes or so. Service was pretty good. There was a little bit of time our drinks stayed empty and our server apologized for forgetting to bring refills for a bit. Visited the new texas road house that opened near Glendale/ west gate area. Loved how clean it was, and how quick we were sat down right away (we came on a Thursday afternoon -6pm). They do have an online waitlist option that helped. Food was good, aside from the mushrooms being burnt everything else was yummy. I ordered my steak medium well, Caesar salad, mash potatoes. My review is about the parking and lack of signs and the fact that the staff do not tell patrons that they will get $80 parking tickets for parking and eating at TRH. I called and spoke to a manager who tried to say it was my fault since there was signage at the 93rd street entrance to Tanger. He also said the hostess should have told us to enter our license plate in there iPad to be validated. Which one did. Even our friends told us they were not made aware and they got a ticket also. TRH is responsible for placing signs at there entrance calling out that validation is necessary for patrons. As this is not an everyday thing but only when there is some activity at the arena. I will not be returning to this restaurant again. There prices have climbed high enough now to add an $80 parking fine. I hope more people boycott this location till they take responsibility for this. read more

We saw 4 different people on our visit, and one was our waitress. Different people served our drinks, bread, meal, and attempted to help use our gift card on the device at our table. Both of our steaks were fatty and grisly, and mine while I requested medium well, was quite rare. We generally are very happy with Texas Roadhouse but this was our first and last time at this location. read more

Walked in today, had a long day at clinicals for school, got seated and got our drinks. I asked for white sugar for my tea and when we got our drinks the server, KY I believe was their name, walked by three straws in the table and then walked by again and threw sugar. I asked my husband if that was aggressive and he said a little bit but it's ok wrong worry. We drink our teas and order our food and we wanted tea refills. She brought them back but slammed them on the table and I got annoyed and I did like aggressively slam my cup down too and she turned the corner and grabbed the cups and purposely slammed them down when picking them up. That was annoying. At that point I wanted to call the manager so as soon as I asked for a manger, our food came and there was a long black hair on my food. I knew I was done. His name was Lou and he was very polite and I said well first there's a hair and he immediately apologized and offered to make another but then I had told him about the server and I was like "I'm not sure if she's in a bad mood or something and I get it but I've had a long day and I just want to go". Our steaks we ordered were all ordered medium well they came out almost burnt and cold. They took them back to only get them the same! Not sure why but they definitely don't know how to cook steaks. And this is a steak house restaurant. Very disappointing! Will not ever be back here again! Spoke to manager but he really didn't do anything about the situation. We ended up just leaving food and restaurant. It's hard to know that at times like this it's a sacrifice to go out to eat especially with a party of 7, and to get service this way it's all bad!! "This is our second day open" That it is. Seated right away and Jacob was our server. He was very friendly and attentive. I'm a HUGE fan of Texas Roadhouse and will honestly put them up against any steakhouse in the city on any given day when it comes to value, service, and ambiance. Seated at 8:10 roughly and most of the food came out close to 9:00. Waited a bit more for the prime rib which came out close to well when ordered medium. I'm sure they're working out kinks being newly opened, but the kinks are there right now nonetheless. I'm hoping things get ironed out as I've been looking forward to this location opening as I'd like it to become my home Texas Roadhouse, but if not, I'll continue to travel to the other 3 that I frequent. I'll circle back to this review down the road after coming a couple more times to see if things got better.
