The review attached bellow matches my experience (pls read):
Their office is arrogant and does not care.
I called for an estimate. Just to be called for an estimate took two days and I was lectured because I expected someone who wants business at least to return a call fast. They do not care. Now, you can imagine what will happen once they get your deposit.
Stay away from this people, they have a bad attitude! (reading reviews I understand why).
I trust their workers are good people, but their office sucks!
I would recommend to the owner to call his company, (pretending to be a customer) and try to get the estimate for the work. He may figure out why people hate them. I do not know if he cares though ...
By the time they called me back to schedule appointment, I had two companies come to my home, check the problem and give me an estimate. (great people who care for business and appreciate to have it - they got the job).
I will never call Arrow Glass - so they can be happy - no one is bothering them with a phone call.
-------------------------8/11/2008 review ---------------------
We were extremely disappointed by Arrow Glass. We like supporting local businesses, but the woman who fields telephone calls (who I understand to be the owner's daughter) was extremely unprofessional and rude. It didn't help that our replacement glass was mis-measured (a fact that was only discovered AFTER the old glass was removed), so we were left with a large boarded-up hole for over a week.
The installers had left us with the impression that they'd be back the next day to remedy the error, but when two days had passed and I hadn't heard anything, I called and was told, "I can't help you with that. I can only help you with what's going forward." Silly me to expect a simple "I'm sorry for the inconvenience." Arguably, mismeasuring the glass is an excusable mistake and, arguably, it might take a while to get a new glass. But not calling customers with an update, over the course of 8 days, is inexcusable.
The installers were friendly, albeit late, but the office staff was so unprofessional that I'd look elsewhere. The installers failed to show up at the appointed day twice. In each case, I missed a day at work but never received a phone call to let me know my day was wasted. Instead, I had to call them to find out that I'd have to lose a third day of work.
Oh, and the installers didn't clean the new glass, so it was grimy and covered in fingerprints when they left. read more
