12/2025 Updated Review: I used to be a frequent customer, the food was always amazing. Until now, They have a new smaller menu, the portions are smaller and the quality of the dishes is poor. The complimentary bread is horrible now (it was soggy, flavorless and cold) and they charge for it. Overall everything completely changed in this restaurant that was once my absolute favorite italian place.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]First time visiting and location is very nice. Sat outside at the weather was perfect for outdoor dining and we had the lake view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was not very busy but it was a Thursday evening with that being said service was a little slow and took a while for our waitress to come to our table but she was friendly . As for food menu is limited compared to other Italian restaurants I've gone to. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and I will say it was generous portion the spaghetti was a little o the dry side and lacking flavor. We were with a larger group and we had mixed reviews on the food, some liked it some didn't . My husband had the pollo Tatiana and his was tasty the sauce was flavorful and creamy. Overall it was a nice dinner outing.

    What a view wow...

Perfect way to end my day. I went into Armando's and the young lady at the host stand was incredibly friendly , helpful and inviting. I was looking for a specific noodle before I sat down and I wanted to make sure they had what I was looking for. She was kind enough to tell me what noodles they had in the store before I decided to sit down. Now my server Jahyn paul very lovely guy. He has a lot of charisma and is overall a great person to be around. He gave me options , helped me find what I was looking for while recommending some other items. Now the reason I came the food and the view. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's something about Armando's that brings such a nice relaxing vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had a nice solo dinner with a pleasant sever and a nice view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't wait too come back for the same dish ahah

Lake Nona-I hadn't planned on writing a review for Armando's. BUT...We were astonished by the end of our meal when we got our check!!!! There were three of us, and we decided to share a pizza, and then get 3 entrées. While looking over the menu, our waitress stopped by to ask if we had any questions. Two of us wanted the same dish, although we do not like spicy sauce. The waitress mentioned that we could have whatever sauce we would like. We both agreed that we would like to try the vodka sauce. Our food came out and my New York girlfriends agreed that the pizza was very lackluster and had no flavor. I do not care for the pizza in Orlando, so I am not a good judge of character on that!! lol Two of us got the Gamberoni with scallops and shrimp, along with the vodka sauce. The other entrée was a chicken piccata. The taste was delicious, but the taste that was left in our mouth at the end of the night was very very bitter. They actually had the nerve to charge us FIVE EXTRA dollars for our vodka sauce!!! The waitress never said a word to us and we had no idea. Weren't you going to put the sauce on in the first place????? Yes, yes you were, so why in the world would you charge us extra for a sauce you are already going to put on the entrée ?????? Especially without telling us???? We definitely will NOT be back to this establishment.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating overseeing a lake.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was amazing but it took over an hour to come out. They were nice enough to offer free dessert. Server was great at explaining the menu and offering his favorite dishes.

5 Aug 25: We had a wonderful meal at Armando's. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was pleasant inside with a calming atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waiter (Jhan P) got us started with a tasty recommendation, a meatball appetizer...wow really yummy with tasty flavor and tomato sauce. Next we enjoyed two wonderful entree's, Lasagna and Polpette with Chicken. Both entrees were delicious with lots of flavor and impressive portion sizes. Our desert choices included Limoncello Cake and Tiramasu...boom! What a yummy experience this meal was from start to finish. We will certainly return to try other dishes as they have a very large menu. So if you are ever in the Lake Nona area, pull on over and give them a try.

This is what's left of a great pizza from Armando's. This is the veggie pizza called Margarita.....so good!

Ordered a great pizza today and it was delicious. It was hot and ready when I arrived and the service was amazing.

Okay, okay, I couldn't give 5 stars because I've only had one thing on the menu... but To Armando's defense, it's the BEST THING and my favorite thing on their menu! I only order the Spaghetti Carbonara and it is PERFECTION. The service is always great, and I've never had a bad experience! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is dimly lit, perfect for a solo date or taking that special person out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I am truly dreaming about this carbonara now, thank you! You must give them a try and do try more off their menu!

It's my second time visiting this location and yet again best lasagna I have had! It's located in a spaced placa in Lake Nona, always good parking. My go to drink is always an Aperol Spritz and a nice Espresso to finish. We got a Cheese Pizza to share and some Calamari, SO good. Pasta is always fresh, staff is always friendly and [[HIGHLIGHT]]ambiance is always great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One of my fav spots since I moved to Orlando

Had a great little Valentine's dinner here at Armando's. It was our first time there and it was very pleasant. We were seated immediately since we had reservations which was nice but I wasn't the biggest fan of where we were. We were seated in the corner next to the rack of plates, silverware and to go boxes which meant lots of waiter traffic. Oh well, couldn't really help that I guess. Food was out very quickly and tasted very fresh and flavorful! I really loved my scallops and pasta. Our waiter was great and friendly but he did seem to disappear after we got our food which left us waiting for quite some time to get the check. We also grabbed our own to go boxes since they were right there. I'll chalk that up to it getting busier during the night so no biggie. I would likely return and hope to sit out on their patio on a warmer night!

We went to the Lake Nona location with a group of about 12 people and it didn't disappoint. We had a 530 reservation and had outdoor seating in the back overlooking the water view. The food was delicious and service was excellent. We were there until about 8 eating and taking pictures with the great view. Prices were a little high but was well worth it!

The restaurant was extremely busy, so I expected a bit of a wait. However, the service was much slower than expected. It took a long time for our food to arrive, and one of the four kids' meals we ordered never came out. After waiting around 45 minutes, instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the issue, the manager approached us and immediately became argumentative about how many kids' meals had been ordered. I wasn't looking for a confrontation--I simply wanted the missing meal. I actually had to stop the conversation and tell him that if he came over just to argue, I wasn't interested. That interaction really left a bad impression. As for the food, it was a mix of highs and lows. The blue crab dip was easily the standout of the meal--rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. It's absolutely worth ordering. The edamame was also well prepared and made for a great appetizer. Unfortunately, the gnocchi was the complete opposite. It arrived ice cold, lacked flavor, and was one of the most disappointing entrées I've had. For roughly $45 between my meal and wine, I expected a much better experience. While I appreciate that they offered a Kids Eat Free promotion, the long wait, missing meal, and poor handling of the situation overshadowed that benefit. The restaurant itself has a sleek, contemporary atmosphere that's great for groups or families, but the lack of attentive service and the manager's approach to customer concerns made the experience far less enjoyable. I hope they've improved since my visit, because the blue crab dip alone deserves recognition, but based on this experience, I wouldn't be in a hurry to return.
