I have been a customer since purchasing the system in 1996. They did approach me the same way they sell now-a-days but I think it was a bit less high pressure back then. Anyhow, I am here to review how great they have been for the past 22 years. My system has worked wonderfully until this past summer. It started squealing due to a seal breaking down. I understand that even with all the service done properly and timely each year, there will still be a time the system will no longer function as it did originally due to the harsh conditions in Arizona. That being said, I brought my warranty to the attention of Mary, and she spoke with Dorela at the main headquarters. The warranty from the 90's was a LIFETIME GUARANTEE covering everything extensively. This company backed their Guarantee completely and inclusively, and I now have a replacement system covered under warranty again. They accommodated my needs and requests and did an outstanding job providing me with excellent service and equipment! Thank you so much for standing by your product in full. And it works great! Arizona Environmental Progress is unethical! We just recently closed on a new home and haven't been here a week. My husband was approached out in the front yard and called by his first name, as if she knew him, Nicole introduced herself and said that she was from Arizona Environmental- my husband just assumed that she was actually working for the city and was truly legit doing water testing. Out of genuine concern, he let her into our home where she proceeded to walk into our kitchen and fill up a tube full of water. Only later to find out that she is a Sales Rep. This is such an unethical way to get business! They must work off of some list or something off of the web where they can tell when people have closed on their homes. Just putting this on here so that others can be aware that this is an unethical company. The lady will ask to come into your home and test your water and then will schedule an appointment for two 'specialists' to come out and go over your water test results. It's simply a scam so that they can sell you water softener products. Do better! Right up front you should be truthful and tell them that you are selling water softener products and ask if they're interested. Then you can go from there! I had my system installed almost 2 years ago. During the the first couple of months a leak was under my kitchen sink coming from the filtration system causing damage to the bottom of my brand new cabinet. I made several calls and to this day my cabinet hasn't been repaired. i have priced other systems and realized I was charged way too much for my system. They charged me almost $7,000. I still get water stains and hard water buildup in all my faucets. The water smells. I get those toilet rings that I scrub with a pumice stone. only get drinkable water from the filtration system under my kitchen sink. They charge me $279 to come out and change my water filters. A person came to our door impersonating a Environmental Protection Agency employee showing us a badge. Clearly, Arizona's water has many different contaminants in it. These people tested the water and my husband and I felt like we had to do something, so we purchased a water filter with Arizona Environmental Progress. Shortly after, my husband was diagnosed with cancer and was out of work, so we asked if we could return the unit. We paid 1,500 to return the unit and we were told we were paid in full. 10 years later we find out that Arizona Environmental Progress put a lien on our house and we had to pay them 7, 537.00. Our Rep, Brian was excellent. He was full of information and explained everything to us. There are some fantastic things that we are getting from them. Detergent, shampoo, cleaner, etc and all good for the environment. We also received a discount for my hubby being a First Responder. All in all I would totally recommend this unit called Hydro Quadss as well as the RO system. It was installed today and those installers were also very respectful, explained how to use the system. That should have been the first red flag Fortunately, when she asked if my dishes get spots I realized that she was not with a state agency... we have a no soliciting sign. He was on time, very professional, polite, ran all the checks/tests and answered all my questions. I guess my interaction was different as they were not trying to sell me a water treatment system. We purchased a water softener back in May of 2017. We had recently purchased our home and had a new baby at the time. It was an easy sell for the door-to-door salesman because we needed it for many reasons including safe water for cooking, daily consumption, better on the skin, better on plumbing, the list goes on. During installation we were told it was easy to maintain, "set it and forget it, except for adding salt when it gets low". We also had the RO system installed under the sink. We went out and bought a bag of salt to have for when it got low and went on with our lives, happy to know we had soft water. Since then (the current date is May 31, 2020) we've adopted a child and had another, leaving us a family of 5. I've had my husband check the salt a million times because our water was just not that as it was in the beginning, nagging him to the point of just doing it myself the last year. We had zero communication with the company, they installed and never contacted us again. Last month I took out the paperwork to see if there was maintenance that needed to be done or if they could come give it some sort of rejuvenation as we are about to start giving it to our newest little one. After several calls, come to find out we purchased just before a "new computer/customer contact system was introduced and we were never added to the mailing/calling list... We must have slipped through the cracks." We scheduled for a tech to come out and replace the filters (in the RO system that had never been changed) and check on our system. He came and we did a few tests, asking about our salt. We still had the first bag we ever purchased because the salt just never got low, we had no clue how long salt lasts. The tech informs us that something is broken and he needs to fix it. He fixes it and runs a test and it works. System is running, and doing what it's supposed to. FOR THREE YEARS OUR SYSTEM WAS NOT WORKING! Here we are new homeowners, new parents paying $5+k for a system and it never worked. Now let's think about this! If we were willing to drop this kind of money on a system, don't you think we would be willing to do the upkeep? We WANT the system to run properly, we want to drink clean water, we want the plumbing to last in our homes. Who really knows the long term damage in our bodies from drinking this water the past 3 years, thinking it was clean. We live in an area with terrible water! My babies have been drinking this. I drank this watery whole pregnancy. My three year old drinks this water all day! Since the system was "fixed" it has been working but what about the last 3 years? Our system never cleaned water in our home after installation. The salt level was the same for 3 years. We are currently waiting on Mary to call us back after another several calls. It's been over a week. We don't even know what can be done, is there anything that can be done? All we know is that we are very upset and the situation is NOT being handled properly. Speaking with my partner last evening over dinner, told him about having made an appointment with a lab technician that some representative Julie or Joelle was reporting to us that something was very wrong with our water supply as they needed to collect immediate water samples, this could not wait! This lady approached me, giving me the impression that she was a representative from the city government from Casa Grande, demanding they needed a water sample, as this was an urgent matter to take care of, stop what your doing, I'm in charge so listen to what I need from you and what I have to say! In addition to stopping me from leaving my home, she demanded telephone numbers, both mine and my partners although he was not home. I thought strange we both needed to be home later the following day to meet with this team or lab tech about the urgency of a water sample taken from our home? I just went with what she had to say thinking... Hey, we just moved to a new City, maybe this was something Casa Grande automatically does for everybody upon moving in? Ever see one of those end of the world movies where we are all wiped off the face of the earth by some catastrophic cataclysmic event?.... Well this lady noted that I had just jumped into my car with the motor running, watch her sprint across the street waving her arms and screaming for me to stop to save me from certain death. Mind you, the more we thought about what happened and then reading into how all this went down today, the more we realized we were duped into a very cleaver sales pitch as we both dug out the brightly colored yellow piece of paper that she left with us hoping and praying we wouldn't contact legionnaires disease or some other odd parasite changing us into something from the X-files. This company unfortunately showed up when we were moving into our new home and gave the impression that they were from the city. We had about 5 people coming and installing stuff for move-in day so I assumed the city was testing the water in all of the new builds in our surrounding area as it's a new development. We booked an appointment to go over our water results, about 5 minutes into the appointment we realized this place was just a sales company. Incredibly shifty, our salesperson Mike was awful and awkward. My spouse and I asked up front what the cost would be but the sales person refused to go over pricing without going over the the awful sales pitch of his. 40 minutes later we finally said we're going to have to think about it and Mikes whole attitude changed and was slamming all of the little test tubes around and throwing them into his suitcase. Was then pressured for 10 minutes about where I am during the week. Was starting to thing this girl planned to come back and try to rob our house or something. I honestly cant understand how what this company does is legal. Is it not a crime to impersonate a city official??? Like many of you a lady with an annoying voice rang my door bell at almost 8pm. Represents herself like she works for a water testing agency representing the city and she NEEDS a sample of our water. I give her the sample and she explains someone will come out and my wife and I both need to be home when they do. I'm a little suspicious at this point. Appointment day rolls around, guy calls, says he'll be out in 30 minutes, ask if my wife is home. She's not at the time. Big deal insues because she's not home. Now I'm really suspicious so I ask him to just email me the test results. He refuses. Well shoot, wouldn't you know it, I actually work for a pretty big consulting and engineering firm here in the metro valley. We work with all the city departments(water treatment & testing included) and many various forms of test data so I know it can be delivered electronically. The other one-star reviews are accurate. They send someone out when they see you purchase a house and use misleading language or outright lie so you believe they're from the city/state government. Leading the public to believe you are a government employee is criminal impersonation. I'm annoyed at myself that I didn't catch this lady's game sooner. I was confused why a technician from the government needed to come back in person to tell me the test results. I didn't realize it was a sales scam until she handed over the "appointment reminder" that didn't list their company name, website, or address anywhere. I found the company by searching the phone number on the card. The lady who showed up at our door was not wearing a mask. Any decent business these days requires employees to wear masks when interacting with customers. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and I would encourage anyone else who experienced this false advertising to also file a complaint. My husband and I just recently moved to Arizona and bought our home in Maricopa. The water smelled, tasted terrible, and left horrible water spots on our glasses. We were talking about getting a water softener and RO system but didn't know where. Nicole rang our doorbell shortly after moving into our house and scheduled a water testing and demonstration. The demonstration was informative and interesting. The system was installed a week later. The guys did a phenomenal job with the installation. You can't even see the trench and pipe they installed. My husband and I moved to Alaska to Arizona and had no idea tap water could not be consumed. We found out the hard way. We were contacted by a woman representing the company and scheduled a demo and were amazed at what all was in the water. After the deminstration, we thought the expense wasn't in the budget until one day, I forgot and used the water for cooking and we were sick all night. I called the next day to schedule an install and we had fresh water. The water in the shower no longer burns my eyes it is soft and leaves you feeling clean. My hair is soft to the touch after washing, and bar soap lathers when used Dishes are spotless and there is no need to hand wash after a dishwashing cycle. After the dryer cycle, clothes can be folded and put away without ironing. I am very happy that we purchased the system. The staff were great to work with and very helpful with all of our questions. I was sorry not to see Donna Sanchez again, but hope that from this review, she'll know we appreciate her and her co-workers for all that they do. We moved into our new house a month ago and someone stopped by our house to collect a water sample. I thought it was strange , but I provided them with a sample and figured I would get a call back eventually about the results. It was about 2 weeks when I got the call back. The company proceeded to call me and offer me a $25.00 Gift card to hear the presentation and the results. We were on the fence of wanting a water system and not wanting to spend the money. The presentation was long , but very informative, especially when we dug into how much we really spend on cleaning, laundry and hygiene products on a monthly basis. The man who came was Mark Watson he very friendly and even had fun card tricks for the kids You could tell he LOVED his job and believed in his product. They do give you a "one day offer" situation, which I wasn't a fan of, but he did go out to his car so we could talk about the decision. We ended up buying the system and are happy we made the decision we did. The deal included free installation, 5 years worth of cleaning products and the water system. We were impressed with the whole process during installation . The guys went above and beyond explained everything that we needed to do for maintenance . Did I mention they came the very next evening. The sales guy left at 6pm and the installers were at my house the next evening after work. 2) Someone comes BACK to your house to check on everything (don't worry, no more sales pitches and it takes less than 30 minutes). He makes sure the installers were professional, that the sales guy was professional, that you're happy with your system, that you understand how to keep it running properly, etc. And yes, we got our gift card (Check) Overall we have noticed the difference and are extremely happy with our new water system!! Were happy to have filtered water right out of the tap now not to mention ice and water out of the fridge. We just received our first shipment of cleaning and hygiene products, we will see how those work out. Overall we are very happy with the decision and would recommend anyone to this company. That water thing was messed up. It was super shady how they did it. First, on Thursday, a lady shows up acting like she's from a govt agency and asks for a sample of tap water. She says that if I allow a technician to come by tomorrow to test my tap water, they'll give me a $30 gift card to a place of my choice. Of course, I didn't realize it was a sales thing until the guy was in my home and started his presentation. The merits of their product be damned. They were not honest about who they were until they were in your door, and I do not like that sort of dishonest behavior. If you are selling a product, tell me straight up. We had our system installed less than a month ago and so far we are very pleased with the difference it's made in the quality our water. We feel so much better after showering, our skin is not as dry and has a smoother feeling so we're using less lotion than before. The RO system has also made a big difference, we don't buy bottled water anymore and it is odorless and tasteless, I love our system. read more

So far I am very pleased. I am a newbee of 3 weeks, but have enjoyed feeling the difference in the shower water as it converted over from old to new. My skin is less dry, and I don't have to oil or moisturize as before. Also I am thrilled to have the drinking water. I do not buy bottled water, and now feel totally confident and interested in drinking their "freshly squeezed" - as they call it - water from the purifier installed tap, allowing my water consumption to increase for better health. We knew our water was bad and we knew we wanted a system, just one of those things we hadn't gotten around to taking care of. This business is disceptive, expensive and has the worst customer service ever!!!!! I purchased a system in 2009. I referred my friend, so she could get the system and a $25.00 gift card. Unfortunately the sales person never provided her and her family with the gift card after going through the entire sales pitch and testing of water. I finally did recieve my system and had it installed. Although the system may work the installers are shotty. I had a leak within a few minutes of the installer leaving. In addition to this situation, I recently moved into a brand new house and had it re-installed, BIG MISTAKE!!!! Not only did the installers cause a leak, MUCH BIGGER (3 gallons of water on my new flooring and cabinets), but Arizona Environmental Progress had he nerve to claim it was the brand new high end refrigerator. (I WAS CHARGED $850.00 for this install. There was so much water on the floor that I slipped and hurt my finger on the granite counter top. When I called to tell them about the leak the service lady on the phone had no empathy and she said well at least it wasn't like my leak (It was $20,000) worth of damage. I was completely miffed. After the one of the two stooges came back to fix the leak, the service man was rude insisting that there was nothing wrong with the system. When he moved my brand new refrigerator like a amatuer... dinging each side of the refrigerator on the wall and counter, I told both of the tech that they were inexperienced and yahoos. Lastly, after damaging my refrigerator, treated rudely by both the service techicians, sprained finger ... the customer service supervisor had her tech hand me a cell phone and I was told not to speak to the technican rudely. He asked for a sample of water making it sound like he was from the government or the state and it was required for me or something. I told him I wasn't interested but he wasn't havin' it so I got him the water. He then proceeds to start asking all these questions like who lives in the house and such. I told him I didn't feel comfortable giving that info out. Clearly he was annoyed with me, again. He then asks for my phone # so he can call me with the results. I refuse to give him my # and he was clearly frustrated with me for not giving it to him! He says it's just for the results!! So I said well you know my address just put it in the mail. I also told him they should pick a better time to do business. He in no way stated that they were eventually going to try to sell me a water softener which is deceptive, and I don't like. I have been using this company for years and they are one time and very friendly. I love my water softener and as long as you get it serviced regularly you shouldn't have any problems with it. I love my water conditioner from this company! We have never had any problems in 14 years since we 1st purchased it and all we have done is the regular filter service every year. I don't have any problems with any of my other water appliances either and I think that is because of this system. I recently referred my friend to them because his house is really close to the water treatment plant at Metrocenter and has a lot of chemicals in it. So bad it was causing skin irritation on his baby. Problem solved. We don't know what we don't know about what's in our water. But I'm sure glad they came to my house! read more

Had the system for about a month now. Showering is nicer, washing dishes is easier, the hard water would destroy the shut off valves to the toilets and sinks(not anymore). Absolutely happy with them. The techs that installed the system were quick, clean, and not afraid to go the extra step to do the job correctly. Very professional. read more

Wow what a giant scam! I was fooled into thinking this was a environmental government agency and they simply wanted to test my water. I was wrong about that! I had a similar experience to all the other negative reviews about this company so I won't go into too much detail. Basically my experience ended with the sales lady being kicked out of my house forcefully after trying to trick me into a sales pitch I didn't want to hear. I'm just upset that I'm not getting my $50 gift card. read more
