No games, no stress, just a very straight forward friendly negotiation. I've always done my research, I knew the invoice price of the car that I wanted and the wholesale value of my trade in. Their OTD was 1K less than what I was prepared to pay. Unbelievable. The salesman was great, and no being pressured by a vicious Sales Manager. They also followed up after the purchase to answer any questions I had about the car's various systems, that turned out to be pretty useful. This is the reason that there are so many Subarus in Flagstaff.

This is my first visit to Discount Tires since I am from California, and their sister stores are…read morecalled America's Tire. I have been to numerous America's Tire stores throughout California, and I have found their service to be top notch. Discount Tire in Flagstaff off of Milton Road was no different than my experience with America's Tire in California. I had a flat tire fifty miles outside of Flagstaff on the first leg of my trip to Oklahoma City from California. The tire had damage to the sidewall so it was not repairable. Brennan assisted me and he was professional, helpful, empathetic, and kind. Unfortunately, they didn't have my tire in stock so he was able to order it after 5 pm on Friday and get it shipped to his store the next morning. He made things so easy for me that I was back on the road by early Saturday afternoon. Everything worked out well without a hitch. Brennan made things go very smoothly. I couldn't ask for any better service. The employees that I encountered at the store were very kind and friendly. They made me feel like a valued customer. This was quite a busy store, but they are able to move cars out very quickly. Thanks to Brennan and the rest of the Discount Tire team at the Milton Rd. store for making my minor mishap an easy resolution. This is why I have been buying my tires at America's Tire/Discount Tire for many years. They provide quick and courteous service, no matter which store I go to.

I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before having any work done here…read more My son lives in Flagstaff and his car broke down, dumping fluid all over the street. We had it towed to University Auto Repair, where we were told the radiator needed to be replaced and the fluids refilled. That immediately raised a red flag because the radiator had been replaced less than a month earlier. Rather than authorize the repair, I decided to have the car towed all the way back to Phoenix to the shop that had just installed the new radiator. Sure enough, there was nothing wrong with the radiator. It was simply a hose. My shop in Phoenix fixed the problem and didn't even charge us. Afterward, I read through several other poor reviews about University Auto Repair, and I'm extremely glad I trusted my instincts and had the car towed elsewhere. I can only draw one of two conclusions from our experience: either their mechanics completely misdiagnosed a relatively simple problem, or they were recommending an expensive repair that the car did not need. Either way, that is extremely concerning. We paid to tow the vehicle roughly 140 miles back to Phoenix rather than trust their diagnosis, and it turned out to be the right decision. My advice: If you're told you need a major or expensive repair here, get a second opinion before authorizing anything.

Thank you, Audra for scheduling us in so quickly and working with my daughter to get the car dropped off and picked up. I would highly rate Apex Automotive in the future.

Yelp to the rescue again! On our a trip from California to New Mexico, we heard a recurring noise…read morethat seemed to be coming from one of the rear tires. We stopped at Sam's Club and it turns out that our wheels were out of balance so they fixed that. However, when we left, the noise was even louder. I looked on Yelp for a local Auto Mechanic. I found Auto Rehab which had a 4.9-star rating with 94 reviews. They saved the day for us! Right off the bat, from our description they thought it was likely a bad wheel bearing. We left our car with them at about 1pm and walked across the street to a cute little coffee house. We got a call in less than an hour to confirm the problem and get the price. We had already started looking for hotels since we didn't think there would be any way our car would be ready the same day. They did, however, say they'd do their best, which we appreciated! At about 3pm, we walked back to the shop. Our car was out for a test drive. It was fixed!! We got on our way and would make it back for a cousin's 80th birthday dinner the next day! Added bonus: The owner is Derek and the other employee who helped us was Troy. They were both super nice. We thought the price was fair. And Derek provides an additional warranty beyond the normal 12k miles. He told us the repair is guaranteed for 2 years. He said he buys the extra warranty because a lot of his customers are passing through town and live in other states. All we have to do is call him if we have a problem within two years and he'll give us a number of a local mechanic that will honor the warranty. How cool is that?! We were also impressed when Troy brought out the damaged part to show us without us even asking. Lastly, they have a very comfortable waiting room with tables and a sofa. I hope we don't have future car trouble near Flagstaff, but if we do, we would absolutely go back to this shop.
