While talking with her, we explained we just did two donations for Kars4Kids and our blind eyes signed in the wrong spots.... On both of those titles so we have to find a notary to do a power of attorney to complete the sales. She helped with those two donated vehicles, and she completed the sold notice taking them out of our names PLUS the original request to do a transfer of title. Talk about one stop shopping. When we moved to Arizona in March, we found that we could not make appointments for the local Motor Vehicle Dept. (MVD) online because we didn't have an Arizona ID or DL (talk about Catch 22) and they were not making appointments in person. So we had to find a third-party office. Well, we were glad we did! FooteWork is the ABSOLUTE BEST for getting your new AZ license and registration. We've used them 3x since coming to AZ - for both our cars, and drivers' licenses for my husband, son and myself. Making an appointment is super easy on line, and appointments are readily available. In fact, I made an appointment for my license for the very next day. (In my former state, you waited weeks or months for an on line appointment.) The Prescott downtown FooteWork is a smallish building which is easy to find, with ample parking in front. You check in and then wait to be called in comfortable easy chairs. My husband finished the entire process in 20 minutes: registration for 2 cars and his driver's license. It was a bit more crowded when I went, and took about 40 minutes, but still waaaaay faster than any motor vehicle dept. I've used. For our son, it took about 40 minutes as well. The workers are friendly and personable. Best of all, you get to SEE your photo BEFORE it's used. I never got that before, and I've been driving for nearly five decades. The licenses are mailed to you promptly: husband's and mine took a week, and our son's took 2 weeks. I will never go back to the state motor vehicle office. Nice Office; Nice People; Very "Bad" Advice! RED LIGHT (Out-of-State) WARNING: When I went into the Prescott office in December 2019, I asked the agent if I would be able to register my vehicle in Arizona, even though I only had a P.O. Box until my home was built? They said: "No Problem!" So I paid (FooteWork) for a "5" year registration. They, in turn, paid the ADOT on my behalf. Then, the "Dreaded" Pandemic hit the World, shutting down the Country. "Slow" forward two years, the ADOT ultimately rescinded my registration. I sent a letter to the ADOT requesting to have my registration fee returned...they refused. When I called FooteWork (the company I paid) to see if they would intervene, they once again said: "No Problem!" A few days later, they called me back and said: "You have a Problem!" "They couldn't help; and that "I" should have done "My" due diligence on the rules of the ADOT before I paid them..."WHAT?!!!" The agent went on to say: "Here's what you can do, tell the ADOT that you "sold" your vehicle, and have them send the refund check to our office. The next time you're in Prescott, you could pick it up there." Once again..."WHAT?!!!" I said: "Are you actually telling me to commit fraud against a Governmental Agency?! I'm sure you realize I could be fined (and/or sent to prison) for what you just recommended." She said this conversation is over, and hung up the phone. EXTREME CAUTION: Malfeasance by a Governmental Agency aside, if you're from Out-of-State, I would suggest you check with the ADOT direct "BEFORE" you throw your hard earned money into the Beautiful Arizona Wind!! Came in as a walk-in during business hours on a Saturday, the young girl who greeted me was obviously irritated that I did not have an appointment (I didn't realize appointments were a possibility), and said, "We will take all the appointments prior to the the walk-in, we are fully booked up," as she sighed.
